Meet the New Big Brother 10 House Guests and their BIG Personalities

  CBS Big Brother 10 brings us a new season of Big Brother with 13 strangers set to compete for $500,000. This summer promises to be one for the record books with house guests of complete strangers ranging in age from 22 to 75. There's plenty of controversy set to spill out over in the new Big Brother 10 house which Julie Chen described this morning on the CBS Early Show as very "apple pie" with a look of home sweet home. But, it will be anything but home sweet home when these 13 new house guest move in. You'll meet a gay rodeo champ who is a big flirt and a big tease, a quirky blonde with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a New Orleans socialite who says she is always the life of the party, a PETA Hooters' girl who will do whatever it takes to win, a catholic school teacher who really doesn't think that women are equal and a so much more! This morning on the CBS Early Show Big Brother Executive Producer Allison Grodner and Big Brother Host Julie Chen talked about the new season of Big Brother 10 houseguests.

Julie Chen - Who stands out to you?
Allison Groder- well we have an amazing mix of houseguests, it's so diverse, age-wise, background, personality.
Julie- from what to what age?
Allison- 22 to 75. From a 22 year old body builder to a 75 year old great grandpa

  Jerry MacDonald ( the 75 year old great grandpa) " I'm a very focused person, I'm very competitive, even at my age, both physically and mentally.

Allison G- but one of the more poignant things is that his wife was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's, and he knows that he's gonna be the primary care giver in the house. He's keep himself fit so that he can take care of his wife eventually.

Julie- Can we just give him the money now? (laughs)
Allison- It's going to be hard for people, I think that people are really gonna like him and who's gonna want to be the person that votes out this man.

Jerry - " I'm gonna be a player in the game. I will tell you this. CBS will get their money's worth.

  Dan Gheesling, a 24 year old catholic school teacher from Michigan says" going into the house if you have any kind of strategy, I think it's very presumptuous and pretty stupid."

According to Executive Producer Allison Grodner about Dan -  "he really doesn't think that women are equal". " And, he felt really strongly especially about possibility that Hillary Clinton would have become President. " He said he would have left the country and he was dead serious about that."

Dan - " my only concern is Barack Obama is wildly charismatic  and has this huge aura around him, which if you are not educated you may vote for him just because he's more charismatic.

  Libra Thompson- " I am an Obama supporter hands down.

Allison G- Libra, is the rebel mom,  and strong opinions, very liberal, she's the Obama girl in Bush country.

Libra is a 31 year old Human Resources Representative.  Libra has always stood out in the group at predominantly white schools. She has been married for seven years and has three children: a 4-year old girl and recently gave birth to a medical rarity... 4-month old twins, one black and one white.

Allison G- Steven is a gay rodeo champion and rides bulls.

  Steven - "I'm very flirty." I definitely will be very flirty and as long as it doesn't scare the straight men off, I'm a big flirt, and a big tease."

Steven Daigle, a 35 year old geographic consultant by day and a rodeo cowboy by night. His strategy: "I want to go in there open to let anything happen."

Julie- Who is going to be the eye-candy for the men watching?

Allison G - we have some feisty beautiful women in the house, we have Keesha, who is a Hooter's Girl.

Keesha- "I would flirt, I would do whatever it takes to win. But, it's because I'm only getting one chance at this.

  Keesha Smith, is 29 and  her strategy in the Big Brother house she says is : "I'm going to make people think I'm a nice person, but I can actually be sneaky." She came out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in modeling. She now works at Hooters, which she loves. Keesha considers Hooters an important part of her life. She has been featured in Hooters calendars and aspires to become part of the management team.

Allison G- then we have April, smart and also a little quirky - she's got a bit of OCD

April- yes, I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, I wouldn't necessarily say "little" OCD. I'd say very much OCD.

  April Dowling is a 30 year old Financial Manager at a car dealership and does well in this "man's world". She was discovered by casting staff after making it to the "Survivor" semifinals. Her Big Brother strategy: "I have no idea. I don't even know what I'm going to do in the next hour." she says.

Julie asked- Who is going to be the eye candy for the women out there?

Allison - We have Jessie, who is our 22 year old bodybuilder. New to the big city from Iowa and I think he's gonna be a little "doe-eyed" in the Big Brother House. I think it's gonna catch him off-guard.

  Jessie- " I think that humor should be able to break down the barrier of my physic, if that makes any sense, because obviously it's very intimidating, so people say, I don't think so.

Jessie Godderz is a 22 year old all American boy next door. He is a professional body-builder with the World Natural Body Building Federation.

 Bryan Ollie - known as "Ollie"  " The Preacher's Son" - who says - "I don't have anything against gays or lesbians but I don't think they are going to heaven."
He's 27 and a Marketing Sales Representative. As the son of a preacher, Ollie grew up in a strict Pentecostal family where, in his father's church, faith healing and speaking in tongues were practiced. His strategy: "I'm just going to be myself. I think that'll be good enough to win the game and make good TV."

 Angie Swindell, a  29 year old, Pharmaceutical sales representative, is a smart and sexy, Korean-American tomboy who can mix it up with the best of them. She is a recent divorcee who is happy to be single again. She's a longtime Big Brother fan and she brings nine cartons of cigarettes into the Big Brother house with her. Her strategy? "I'm going to lay a little low and then start winning competitions when I have to," she says.

  Robert "Memphis" Garrett, a single, 25 year old. Memphis is a very charismatic young man who, as a teenager, once sold fake Nike sport shoes on street corners. He currently works as a "Mixologist," which he insists should not be confused with a bartender. His Big Brother strategy: "I'm going to be who I am. I'm a hustler. For some reason, people just trust me. And they should."

 Renny Martyn, a 53 year old New Orleans socialite, describes herself as vivacious, witty, passionate, dynamic and entertaining, the life of the party, who loves hanging out in the French Quarter with her family as well as friends. She claims to have outfits, as well as wigs, for any and all social occasions. She currently operates her own hair salon.

  Brian Hart, 27, who has been tagged "The Leading Man" in the new Big Brother 10 commercials, served in the Air Force for six years, was an F-16 crew chief and was then honorably discharged. He has worked as an investment banker, an international military recruiter and a snowboarder. He currently works in the telecommunications industry but is also involved in several entrepreneurial ventures. Brian is a guy's guy that was raised around several tough and feisty Italian women. His mother devoted her life to raising him and his siblings and she is the most important person in the world to him, along with his sisters. "My strategy is to find something in common with everyone in there." says Brian.  

  Michelle Costa, a 28 year old Realtor, Michelle is an East Coast firecracker. She was raised in a large Portuguese family, is currently single and has always spoken her mind. She was the only person to jump up at her brother's wedding when the priest asked if there were any objections. She is an avid animal-lover. This was her second time trying out after sending in an audition tape. And her strategy? "I'm going to do whatever it takes to win, whether it's bad, good or ugly."
