Steven is a geographic consultant by day and a rodeo cowboy by night. He is a champion bull rider in the gay rodeo circuit. He attended the Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX as well as the University of North Texas in Denton. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Agriculture/Marketing and lists graduating from college as his proudest accomplishment. He also worked on a master's Degree in Applied Geography. In the past, he has hauled horses across the country, taken people on horseback riding treks in the Colorado Rockies and served as a camp director at a children's camp.

I am and always have been a sucker for a cowboy hat and a tight pair of Wranglers, so, gay or not, methinks this is my eye candy for the summer!!

Other than the gay thing, which seems like he was picked just to irk the uber-conservatives and/or prejudiced lot in the house, he seems like a totally normal guy...no "out there" statements of beliefs, opinions, whatever - his bio certainly doesn't read like Dan's!!

Totally meaningless detail - his statement about his hero "Chris LeDoux, a former rodeo cowboy who is now a country music star"...I'm hoping that the poor guy knows that Chris LeDoux has been dead for a while now.

One of the earliest reports said that he had a prejudice of his own, that should be interesting...

That's different from saying they're going to hell.

To many gay men, it's just as bad. Me thinks Ollie and Steven might not get along.

That being said, I like Steven from what I've seen. He seemed down to earth and straightforward about the fact that he wouldn't hate the 15 minutes of fame. He appears to be a person I love to hang out with. Still, I'm not sure he'll be the best Big Brother player. But I am excited to see him!

I see what you mean, nico, but to us observing, it's an important distinction until we see the feeds. I'm trying to give Ollie the benefit of the doubt.

I'd have a beer with Steven from what I've seen. He actually reminds me of Will from Big Brother 5.
