It is going to be interesting to watch April and her OCD. I don't know much about this but my dh's boss is OCD and I have personally known the man since I was 21, (so about 5 years.....ok, 30 years whatever! ) Anyway, I do know that when he is tired or his stress level is up, his OCDness is exacerbated. He has a "magic number" which is the amount of times he has to ask you the same question or look at an item before he can move on. I am curious to see how OCD April is and how her housemates will treat her. I DO NOT think being on BB will be therapeutic for this condition at all, IMO.

It would be very interesting if she had that type of OCD where she has to do things a certain number of times, or like my mom who can not drive back the same way she drove to somewhere. But the way they are describing it she seems to have OCD where everything has to be excessively clean and orderly. Still fun to watch though! I do agree that Big Brother will not help though.

I have 4 family members that have a form of OCD! it isnt like a life destorying deiase. and in alot of cases if you are very young [a child] you grow out of it, my nephew did! i have a feeling the HGS might see April as her way or no way! b/cuz of the OCD...and it might get her voted out fast! if she tells the others the house must stay clean, you cant do this or that! they prob wont understand that she cant control her OCD! and think she is just to pushy..i also believe bb will not help with her OCD! if anything with strangers it will make it worse!

Yes, OCD comes in a number of forms. I have a relative who has it, and she saves newspapers. Like, she cannot throw them away. Other than that, she doesn't have any other OCD tendencies, but this fixation was enough to get her diagnosed.
