Big Brother 17 two-night season premiere started off tonight with 8 new house guests entering the Big Brother 17 house. Jace Agolli, Clay Honeycutt, Austin Matelson, Audrey Middleton, Meg Maley, James Huling, Da’Vonne Rogers, and Shelli Poole. Julie Chen announced there would be 3 new ( and I use the word "new" very lightly) twists for the season.
Da'vonne was the first to enter...
After the celebratory champagne toasts and Audrey revealing that she's the first transgender to be on Big Brother, the first of the season "all girl" alliance was born with Shelli, Audrey and Da'Vonne.
Julie Chen then called the 8 houseguests into the living room and broke the news about the "fan favorite'" ( was it really?) twist the Battle of the Block. It's Twist #1 this season. 2 Heads of Households, 4 nominees. You could go from HoH to evicted in the same week.
With that it's time for the first Head of Household Competition, but one of the house guest must sit out. Da'vonne volunteers, asking the others to promise not to send her home. They (of course do) and she sits out. The remaining 7 houseguests stand on boards and catch "flying tomatoes".
Austin, Meg and Clay are down within minutes, leaving James, Audrey and Jace to battle it out. All 3 end up down at about the same time, Julie reviews the tapes and announces....
James is the new Head of Household...
Once back inside, Julie announces “no house guest has ever had to endure a new twist each and every week until now" and delivers the news about the #BBTakeover twist. New twist every week, with a special sound they will listen for and come together in the living room to find out what the new twist will be.
Twist #3 is a secret twist that only we know called the Twin Takeover. One house guest (Liz) has a twin (named Julia) and they will secretly switch in/out of the house, if they can survive the first 5 evictions, they both will be in the game.
Here's Liz and Julia...
Liz Nolan along with (Julia secretly), John McGuire, Vanessa Rousso, Steve Moses, Becky Burgess and Jason Roy will enter the house tomorrow night. The #BBTakeover twist will begin.
