Before we get into Steve's dilemma, you need to know that Vanessa is already figuring out that she could be the target this week. She can't get over that Becky shut her down when he suggested making a deal. She's telling Shelli that she will save her if she plays in the PoV and turning right around and telling Steve the exact same thing. Playing both sides against the middle has worked for her so far, but Johnny Mac has a thing or two to say about that this week....
You can catch up with the some of the drama that takes place before the conversations below by clicking here but what you'll read below as Johnny Mac fills in Steve on what's happening in the house, lead Steve to reach a decision ( for now ) on how he's going to play the game moving forward, of course, depending on which house guests are picked to play in the Power of Veto competition and which house guest actually wins it.

Johnny Mac/Steve hammock room ..
Johnny Mac - if you get HG choice...you have to pick me
Steve- I just saw you and Shelli whispering .
Johnny Mac - yeah ... that's what we were talking about ...
Steve- so you would use it on me?
Johnny Mac- No, I have to use it on Shelli
Steve- okay
Johnny Mac- you have to be okay with that ... can you?
Steve- I don't know explain it to me..
Johnny Mac explains that the night Vanessa told you and me nothing happened, next morning she told them (Clay/Shelli) something did
He tells Steve about he meeting with 8 people and the plan was to target the two of them and Shelli
Steve still questioning what's going on ... why he has to use it on Shelli
Johnny Mac- I feel like no one's been talking game to you ..
Steve- am I the target?
Johnny Mac- no
Steve- is Shelli the target?
Johnny Mac- yes
Johnny Mac- - you and Shelli are the only people I trust right now.
Steve- Do you not trust Becky?
John- No
Here and there when someone walks by they change the subject to what the comp might be .. so this convo is scattered..
Johnny Mac tells Steve that they are on the outside.. it's just them and Shelli ..
Meanwhile... we have this..
Vanessa makes her way in to talk to Shelli ....
Vanessa- Steve told me he's going to pick Johnny Mac, which is the worst... if he wins and takes Steve down, then I am up next to you .. but if Steve comes down... and Johnny Mac goes up .. you stay ...
Shelli tells her she doesn't think she would stay ..
Vanessa- me, Steve, Austin and the twins.. that's 5 ... you stay ..
Vanessa tells Shelli that she will tell Steve to pick her ...
Johnny Mac out of the DR now and back talking to Steve.....
Johnny Mac- Number one rule this week is you and I have no idea what is going on...if anyone finds out we know what is going on, I go home. I'm someone's target.
Steve- Vanessa?
John- Yeah
Steve asking a LOT of questions.. wanting Johnny Mac to fill him in....
Johnny Mac- it's a long story ...
Steve- I would like to know .
Johnny Mac begins ( again ) with "there was an 8 person alliance"....
Then Julia comes in so that convo ends....once Julia leaves....
Johnny Mac- Those eight people have a pact to come after us three.
Steve- Do they actually?
John- They do but some people are changing
Johnny Mac tells Steve that they are onto Vanessa and they will send Vanessa home...

Johnny Mac- She (Vanessa) is covered on all sides and that's why I want her out
Johnny Mac- Listen up.. the goblins have no idea what we're doing.... What we need to do is act like ... we don't know about the 8 person deal, but feel left out.
Steve- why would we feel left out?
Johnny Mac- you got nominated didn't you?
Steve -yes
Johnny Mac- Vanessa is the back door .. but if anyone finds out that we know .. I go home.
Steve- so Vanessa is the target?
Johnny Mac- yes, but they can't know that we know ..
Steve- but Vanessa told me today that if I picked her, she would use it on me...
Johnny Mac- look at the memory wall.... how many are gone because of Vanessa.. 5 out of 5 ... of those faces.. I am here target. I'm next. That's how good she is .
Steve- so if Vanessa wins the veto and she uses it?
Johnny Mac- she will force Becky to nominate one of the 3 or me...
Steve- she won't nominate you ... so there 3 alliances in the house ...
Johnny Mac- and Vanessa plays all of them...
Steve- so there's the goblins.. ( Meg/James/Jackie) and Austin and the twins . and then me, you and Shelli..
Johnny Mac- we have to just win this veto out of self preservation .. and then we have to pick a side.. but I don't want to think that far ahead..
Steve- so if I win and use it .. you go up?
Johnny Mac - no.
Steve- Vanessa?
Johnny Mac- yes... your other option is that you can go with Vanessa.... but she is coming after me and I am coming after her... either me or Vanessa are walking out the door this week...
Steve- and not me? why?
Johnny Mac- Steve, you haven't won anything...
Steve- but why did Becky put me up ...
Johnny Mac- better to stick with the 8 person alliance... there is an 8 person alliance to get us out and Vanessa is the head of it .. the goblins figured it out... but we can't know that they know .. all you know is what was said at the nomination ceremony ...
Steve- and what Becky told me upstairs..
Johnny Mac- but if you tell anyone you know .. I am going home this week..
He tells Steve they let everyone think they feel like they are on their own ..
Steve- why do we need to feel that way ?
Johnny Mac- because we do feel that way ...
Steve- but why the 3 of us?
Johnny Mac- Cause people are pussies and don't want to get any blood on their hands, so they don't go after each other
Johnny Mac- you need to pick me ( for veto )
Steve- but you are not going to save me?
Johnny Mac- right.
Steve- so that means it would be me and Vanessa?
Johnny Mac- yeah
Steve- and my votes would be?
Johnny Mac- me, and the goblins and Shelli ..
Steve - and not Austin and the twins...
Johnny Mac- no ... they don't know .. they might feel betrayed...
Steve- so 5/3 ...
Johnny Mac- yes.. and even if there was a tie... Becky's got you ...
Steve - Vanessa told me that she would use it on me if I picked her..
Johnny Mac- she flat out told Shelli the same thing.
Steve- Why is Vanessa the best person to get rid of?
Johnny Mac- because she's keeping the 3 sides at war and is good with every single one of them
Steve-- you are essentially asking me to volunteer to go on the block until eviction night
Johnny Mac- yes
Steve- Johnny, don't do that to me.
Johnny Mac- it's up to you ... but if I go up I am going home. you can stick with me. and I am telling you .. you will stay.
Johnny Mac- I want you or Shelli to win veto .. that's what I want... but if not.. then I want to play and use it ... you can talk to Shelli... I'm not telling you both ( like Vanessa is ) that I am going to save both of you.. I am telling you what I am going to do .. all the bull**** aside.. it's you, me and Shelli in trouble... that's what we have to let them know that we think... that we are in trouble.
Johnny Mac- Once Vanessa is on the block, she is going to squeal on everyone. Everyone is going to want us on their team
Steve- so Vanessa will be shocked if she goes on the block....
Johnny Mac- all hell is going to break loose... and whoever is up there with her ... you or Shelli... you just lay down and let her dig her own grave.
Steve- I thought I was on good terms with Vanessa
Johnny Mac- she's on good terms with everyone, not just you.
Steve- You're right..
Steve- is Shelli close with Vanessa?
Johnny Mac- not any more... not after my talk with her..
Johnny Mac to Steve - if anyone finds out Becky confirmed it (the 8 person alliance) I go home..... I'm really trusting you with a lot of ****
Steve tells Johnny Mac that he doesn't think that Becky will ever put him on the block..
Johnny Mac says he doesn't either ... BUT .. Becky's game will be ruined if it leaks that she confirmed things for him and then she doesn't nominate him...they ( Austin/twins) won't use the PoV... better to have one of the goblins playing ..
Johnny Mac suggests that Steve go to James, tell him that he's worried.. doesn't know what to do. ask James if he can pick him to play in veto ... doesn't care if he has his back or not ... James will say yes. Our priorities right now .. Vanessa must lose.... Austin and the twins must lose. Anyone else can win. It doesn't matter
Steve- I ****ing hate this game.. why did I sign up for it ... I don't have the communication skills to pick up clues so if you need to tell me something, just tell me
Steve- I don't think Becky will put you up ..
Johnny Mac- I don't want to put her in that position.. she doesn't and it will start a war, and Vanessa will win again.. don't want that to happen.. she (Vanessa ) is good.. she's like Derrick she won't get nominated, any time someone starts to catch on to her (Vanessa), they go home. I want you or Shelli to win it ..
Steve- so then Vanessa goes home..
Johnny Mac- if it's close I will throw it to you or Shelli... I mean I want to win it .. I want the blood on my hands... but if it's close I will throw it ...
Johnny Mac tells Steve that Becky didn't want him to tell them what was going on ... but he felt he needed to ... and he will have to tell Becky that he did
Steve- why does she even need to know?
Johnny Mac- because honesty is the best policy in this game...
Steve- right ...
Johnny Mac continues to tell Steve to act nervous, don't tell what he's told them....
Steve- I love Shelli ...
Johnny Mac- me too...
Steve- Did you have a deal with the two of them...Clelli?
John- They were keeping me safe
Johnny Mac tells Steve - at the end of the day... I think Becky will roll with us ...
Steve- why would Becky put you up?
Johnny Mac- because I would go to her and tell her that her game is ruined if she doesn't ...
Steve- she wouldn't put Austin up?
Johnny Mac- Austin would go ... but Vanessa would stay ..
Steve- why would Becky want to work with me after putting me up twice?
Johnny Mac- because you are trustworthy ..
Steve tells Johnny Mac that he wants to talk to Shelli...

Steve looking to see what Shelli is doing..
She's sleeping .. he walks away ...
Steve to himself (to the camera ) - I don't know what to do ...My two closest allies hate each other.

Steve- okay Steven.. think about this logically ... not emotionally... let's think this out.
Steve- Do I tell John about the Freaks and Geeks?
Steve - do I tell him about the SOS
Steve- mom I need you right now... first time in 52 days... mom I need you right now ... the decisions I have to make.. really there is only 2 of them.. pick John if I get HG choice... If I pick John, me and Vanessa go on the block on eviction night
Steve- I'm picking John if I get houseguest's choice. Am I throwing it?
Steve- John and Shelli...
He quickly gets up and starts to walk out and says ..
Steve- I'm throwing it. I'm sorry but I'm throwing it. It's done. I'm throwing it and I'm picking John.
Steve- I'm on the block until eviction night
The Power of Veto Competition plays out later today.
