8/15 5:26 PM BBT - Johnny Mac talks with Austin and Liz
(it's a great FLASHBACK convo -here's a small portion of it )
Johnny Mac tells them about the lie he told to cover for Clay ( Clay/James/Vanessa fight before Clay's eviction)
Johnny Mac tells them that he wasn't sure how close they were/are with Vanessa..
Austin- The thing is we've been in too deep with her for too long and we don't know how to get out of it.
Johnny -Mac- Okay
Austin - She always thinks that she's with us and it's starting to piss us off.
Johnny Mac - and she's sunk a lot of ships.
Austin/Liz - Yes!
Johnny Mac- and my time is coming up.
Johnny Mac tells them there's one more lie, he's been covering for her, to keep her from coming after him...
Liz and Austin tell him now is the time to talk ...
Johnny Mac tells them that it's not even important now ... but proceeds to tell them about when Jeff was still in the house, talking about Audrey stirring up trouble, and Vanessa saw him and Jeff talking, asked who he was talking about, he told her Audrey and that's when the whole Audrey trouble started, how Vanessa told everyone that he ( Johnny Mac ) told her this and that was the end of Audrey, after Vanessa stirred the pot, to get her out.
Johnny Mac continues to reveal what he's seen/heard/and had to deal with personally due to Vanessa's antics... and why he kept everything secret ... until now... ( again it's a great Flashback convo, but for the sake of time, I'm going to move you to what Austin and Liz took from it, after Johnny Mac leaves )

Austin to Liz- we can't take her ( Vanessa )... we gotta have her in next week
Liz- I know
Austin- remember when Audrey went out... we were all ****ed.
Liz- I like him ( Johnny Mac )
Austin - me too
Liz - I don't know why I like him so much ... but I do
Austin - because you're so sweet ..
Liz- I feel bad...
Austin - I know I do too
Liz- but he didn't talk to us until last night...that's why he's in this position
Austin - I know .. but why would he hold their secrets in like this
Liz- well he was loyal
Austin- what do you think is the biggest thing the told us, that we didn't know?
Liz- I think the biggest thing for me, is that is was Vanessa that outed the 8 person deal and not Becky. And, she ( Vanessa) tried to make it seem like it was Becky to us, so we would target Becky.
Liz- I don't want Becky to go home either, but now that he ( Johnny Mac ) is going after her ( Vanessa ) there's 2 people going after her, so we're still good.
Austin- what's the other thing he told us about that she ( Vanessa ) hasn't come clean about ... oh the whole "Clay incident" ... that she ( Vanessa ) knows that Johnny Mac made it up, to protect Clay, because Clay was confused about what he thought was happening. ( James/Clay fight before live show when Clay was evicted).
Liz- yeah and that she keeps going on with it
Austin- yes, that she keeps saying that Johnny Mac is a liar.
Liz- yeah
Austin- she ( Vanessa ) is painting a picture of him, like he's some psycho, out to hurt her, because she knows that he was going to come up here and tell us the truth.
Liz- that's why she had to do it before him...
Austin- yeah .. wow...
Liz- wow
Austin- and that she told him and Steve one thing and Clay and Shelli something else...
Liz- Oh My God, I can't .. Insanity. I want her ( Vanessa ) to go so bad ...
Austin- we can't be.. remember when Shelli took Audrey out ... it ruined her game... no more targets.. we take out Vanessa, no more targets. Next week, could be a group vote.
Liz- Vanessa staying here is one more week for us.. so ...
Austin- and if Vanessa wins ( HoH ) she's not going to put us up, she's still going to go after them, so we're good ....
Liz- yeah that puts one more person in front of us ...
Austin- unfortunately, Becky is going to have to bite the dust. Unless she wins the veto, if she wins the veto, then Johnny Mac has to bite the dust, it sucks, but here's the thing, there's no one else to put up, we're buddies with everyone else.
Liz- if one of them win veto, who the **** do I put up?
Austin- I don't want to put up Meg or James.. I really don't ... let's just hope it stays the same, we don't want to take pressure from the whole house to put up Vanessa, we just can't.
Liz- I know, we're not.

Meg tells James that she's already prepared herself that she will go on the block, if the veto is used.
James tells Meg that if he's picked to play, he will do his best to win it, and keep the nominations the same.

Johnny Mac to Steve- I asked them and they are okay with you playing for veto for me.. if you want to confirm it with them...
Steve- we still need to play nice with Vanessa, she still has power and you are on the block, you are a pawn, but we have to keep it that way.
Steve gives Johnny Mac advice on how he needs to play his game moving forward..
Steve- for your game..
Johnny Mac- I need to get out of the funk
Steve- whatever it is, you need to go back to before Chelli was here.. does that make sense?
Johnny Mac - yeah ..
Steve- because you are scaring people, you are making people worry. We want to make sure you are the pawn, and that you STAY the pawn, and that's how you do that.
Johnny Mac- okay ...
Steve- how was your conversation with Austin and Liz
Johnny Mac- okay, they told me I'm not the target...
Steve- lets play nice with Vanessa this week, even though she's lying to our faces, if you are on the block, even a person lying to your face, has a vote, and you want hers this week
Johnny Mac- if I have your vote.. I feel like I'm good ... you are all I need
Steve- because you also have Austin and a twin ... but still play nice with Vanessa. I think we need her.
Johnny Mac- we're good...
Steve- I'm just nervous.. because she ( Vanessa ) is sketch ball city ..
Johnny Mac- I know
Steve- I just made a complete idiot of myself yesterday
Johnny Mac- how?
Steve- Jackie.
Johnny Mac- but people have already forgotten about that .. it's weird.
Steve- Becky hasn't ...
Johnny Mac- yeah ..
Steve - so were are on the same page.. we're good?
Johnny Mac- we're good.
Steve- we need to work together... we've done a good job ... of not going after each other and defending each other but..
Johnny Mac- we need to make decisions..
Steve - you've done zero decision making.. we need to start doing that...
Johnny Mac- right.. right..
Steve- the one thing about the veto ( him picking him ) that makes me nervous, is that it might make it obvious ... and then we would be sitting on the block against each other at some point...
Johnny Mac- I can pick someone else, I can pick Julia ...
Steve- I'm going to go talk with them... but you are not at risk this week... you have me.. you have Julia and Austin.. you are not at risk this week...
Johnny Mac- tell them that I either want to pick you or Julia...
Steve- you understand why I am saying this?.. Shelli and Clay sat next to each other .. Hayden and Nicole sat next to each other, I want to make sure that we are not sitting up there against each other... so if you are not going home.. I don't think it's worth the risk.. ( Johnny Mac picking Steve in Veto ) ... it's a risk versus reward type of thing...
Johnny Mac- yeah .. I get what you are saying..
Steve- by the look on your face.. I hope you don't think I'm saying something sketchy
Johnny Mac- no, I totally believe you
Steve- you do have my vote .. 110% ...
Johnny Mac- no I got you ...
Steve leaves to talk with Austin and Liz...

Steve- sorry to disturb you .. but wanted to talk about the veto competition before tomorrow.. can we turn on the lights...
Liz/Austin- we wanted to talk to you too ..
Liz- I want them to stay the same.. don't want to get any more blood on my hands... right now . I don't have a back door target ...
Steve- he ( Johnny Mac ) told me that you are okay with me playing in it ..
Liz- yeah
Austin- no wait, we don't want him to use it ...
Liz- I'm cool with you playing in it .. just don't win it ..
Austin- we let him (Johnny Mac ) know that he's a pawn, but we didn't tell him that Becky is the target. He probably thinks we have a back door in mind.
Steve- he said that you said you're cool with me using it on him... is that not true?
Austin - we didn't say those words to him...
Steve- so that's untrue?
Austin to Liz- do you want Steve to use it on Johnny Mac
Liz- that's untrue
Steve- so that's untrue.. okay
Austin- I think he misunderstood, I don't think he's trying to lie to you ... because of him and Becky.. we didn't want to tell him.. yeah Becky is our target.
Steve- okay
Liz- we just wanted to keep the waters calm
Steve - so I can't promise him that I'll use it on him... I've only promised him my vote...
Liz - why don't you just not try to win
Austin- wait, here's the thing, we don't want Becky or Johnny Mac to win it because then you have to put someone else us
Liz- I know but he ( Steve ) is going to be in a bad position if he wins it and doesn't use it on Johnny Mac
Steve -should I tell Johnny Mac to pick someone else...
Austin- he could pick me. I won't use it ...
Liz -that's sketchy ...
Austin- how can we figure this out...
Liz- I want to keep the nominations the same...
Steve - I'm glad I talked to you .. because he ( Johnny Mac ) misunderstood
Austin and Liz fill Steve in on what they learned from Johnny Mac, specifically that Vanessa ( as co HoH with Jackie ) was on board to back door Austin or Liz when she was HoH .. but Liz won PoV all by herself, keeping Jackie as the Head of Household.
Austin- Steve, that is why I am here today, if that hadn't of happen. I would not be here. There would have been nothing I could of done. She ( Liz ) saved my whole live in here, and Vanessa was ready to send me out the door, and she's never told the truth about that.
Liz- and even after the competition, I kept telling her ( Vanessa ) I think James through it, and she never said one thing about it to me.
Austin- she ( Vanessa ) is the one that wanted to start the 8 person alliance. She wanted us to break our word, she was never going to break hers. She's done a lot of weird things..
Steve- but you aren't going after her?
Austin - not this week, we're in too deep with her. And, all the sudden the Freaks and Geeks are me, you and Liz.. and Vanessa is this person is someone that is trying to attach to every person in the house...
Austin- we can't let Vanessa know that we are onto any of this .. she will start acting nuts....
Liz- we just have to act normal
Austin- we want to start talking to you, when she is not around.
Steve- I'm glad we are on the same page about that.
They tell Steve that Johnny Mac spilled a lot about Vanessa, how he hates her and wants her out.
Steve- I don't want him ( Johnny Mac ) to pick me.
As they talk, they consider bringing Johnny Mac into their alliance in place of Vanessa, but they won't talk to Johnny Mac about that yet.
Liz tells Steve to let Johnny Mac know that he has their votes to stay this week.
Austin worries that Johnny Mac will figure out that Becky is the target and he will be upset.
Steve - I will just tell him that he's safe this week and I don't want to put a target of us...
Liz- just tell him if he has to .. to pick Julia ...
Steve- okay. I will talk to Johnny Mac, tell him he's safe, as long as he keeps his mouth shut, and not to pick me for veto, because we don't want to make ourselves a target.
Austin- yeah .. good talk.. just watch yourself with Vanessa.
Steve- no one trust her..
Austin - where there is smoke there is fire, and that's not good, and we were her closest people, so for us not to trust her..
Steve- yeah ...
Austin- she's playing this game really bizarre...
Steve- so I can tell Johnny Mac that he is safe.. that he has you ( Austin) and Julia's vote and that Liz as a tie-breaker
Austin/Liz- yes
After Steve leaves, Austin tells Liz again that they cannot target Vanessa, but they may have to sit back and watch it happen next week.
Liz- but what if Becky or Johnny Mac win the veto... who do I put up? Who do I back door?
Austin - you don't even think about it.. I will take care of it for you ...
Liz- but for real.. who would I put up?
Austin- just don't think about that seriously.. just know that we are all safe this week... we have Johnny Mac and Becky both thinking they are safe... and Vanessa doesn't know what we are doing, she just thinks she is safe...
Liz is called to the DR
