Julie Chen Remains Host of Big Brother

Julie Chen will "continue to work on Big Brother and looks forward to hosting the show for years to come". That quote is from a "source close to Julie Chen" reported by PEOPLE.com. Amid Julie Chen leaving "The Talk", Big Brother fans began to question if she would return as the host of Big Brother. For now, we have our answer from Julie's point of view. The question of whether or not CBS will renew Big Brother for the upcoming Season 21, is still unanswered. However, according to TMZ, "the network does not want to punish Julie for her husband Les Moonves alleged misdeeds, so she will finish the current season and the plan is for her to return, with one big IF. The IF is bringing the show back for another season. The ratings are still good and the all-important demos are strong, so renewal is all but certain". As she supports her husband, former CBS CEO Leslie “Les” Moonves, amid his sexual misconduct scandal, Chen, who has been hosting the reality TV competition for 18 years, will continue her duties on the show.

“She will continue to work on Big Brother and looks forward to hosting the show for years to come,” a source close to Chen, 48, tells PEOPLE.
