The Big Brother 17 houseguests have been on a whirlwind ride of nominations and competitions in the past 24 hours. The Heads of Household were crowed, they picked Have Nots, made their nominations, the nominees played in the Battle of the Block, the Veto Players were picked, and the Power of Veto Competition played out. The #BBTakeOver "Power of the Last Laugh" still has them speculating, ( no phone yet ) and with the Veto Competition over, the houseguests have nothing left to do, but campaign to stay off the block or get votes to keep them in the game. After John won the Power of Veto and decided that in no way he would not use it, even though Clay and Shelli floated the idea to him, the possible replacement nominee has been picked by Shelli .. or was it Meg...or was it really Clay?
Either way, Liz/Julia is the choice for the replacement nominee.
What could she say other than "I trust you" when Shelli broke the news to her.
Shelli insists that Liz is "only a pawn" and assures her that she's safe, as every one is on board to evict Da'Vonne. Shelli also tells Liz that, being on the block as the pawn, will help her game by earning trust with everyone, just like Jackie, Steve and John have done. She tells Liz to keep it a secret that she's going to be the replacement nominee, because she doesn't want Da'Vonne to find out before the Veto Ceremony and start campaigning against her.
Later, Liz cries to Becky about Shelli telling her she will be the replacement nominee.
Liz tells Becky that Shelli told her that she couldn't put Audrey up against Da'Vonne, because Audrey would go home over Da'Vonne, and
she ( Shelli ) wants to send Da'Vonne home this week and Audrey can go home next week, therefore she ( Liz ) will be the pawn on the block that sends Da'Vonne home.
Liz tells Becky that she's scared/worried that Da'Vonne will find out that she's going to be the replacement nominee and start campaigning.
Becky tells Liz that she's just emotional due to the "shock of the block", not because she doesn't have the votes to stay.
Becky tells her to 'campaign with confidence"....
The houseguests have a long week ahead of them of campaigning and when the mystery telephone arrives an even longer week of speculation.
All that drama continues on the Live Feeds...
