Early good evening to one and all. We get to see the game nobody could do? Should be fun to watch.

Hi Walleye here's a little fisherman tip. My dad fished perch. Mom would keep milk cartons and wash them out. They would then fill the cartons with water and fish, seal and freeze. Honestly can't remember if they gutted them first, but I do remember heads and tails were left on. Not sure what you fish, but could work for the smaller catches.

That's interesting. We fillet them and vacuum pack them. They last a year that way. Oh, I fish walleyes! (and perch, crappies, and sunnys)

Guest, that's how my dad and grandpa also froze their catches - in milk cartons. They stacked nicely in the freezer too. We had hobo style dinner - throw it all in an aluminum foil pack and cook it on the coals. No fuss, not much clean up, so easy. We had lean ground beef patties cooked with sliced potatoes, carrots, and onions. It was delicious! Leftovers too!
