Morning all. From a conversation very early this morning it sounds like Tiffany is branching out from the 8 and trying to form an all girl thing. I think she's committing the other members of the Fatal 5 except Michelle. Frank is at the top of their list. If this gets out I can see Tiffany being in trouble. When will HGs learn not to make waves when they are on the block. I don't know if they will pass on the opportunity to get rid of Vic, but why would you take the chance if you are on the block.

Morning everyone. It all still seems not quite right to me....as if none of these groups have truly gelled. Granted, I missed last night's action but I can't shake the feeling that the majority of this season's BB HGs have a natural desire to divide straight down gender lines. Nicole is an exception, of course, because she likes to pretend to be a weak woman who needs someone to take care of her (I agree, Walleye , she seems even whinier this year). James likes to hang with the girls, so he's another exception.

Maybe I'm wrong, but Frank, Paulie, Paul, Corey, and Victor give me the impression that they're headed for a bro alliance and will eventually get out all females first. It's their version of The Brigade or The Moving Company. Yes, I know Victor is the target and he could very well be sent home, but I wouldn't be shocked if things change and they try to send Tiffany or Bronte home instead. Even if Victor goes, I won't be shocked if those guys stick together.

On the other hand....Tiffany, Bronte, Natalie, Da'Vonne, Zakiya (and to a lesser extent Bridget and Michelle) are showing a small spark of being strong enough to actually form a true Girl Power alliance. Zakiya and Tiffany are dang smart, and I don't think any of those females are shallow thinkers (even though I don't like them all). Love or hate Da'Vonne (I like her)...she knows this game and has excellent perception/intuition skills. She's already realized there's a buyback with the first evictees, and she's the one who discovered the twin twist last year.

I'm going to wait and watch, but it won't surprise me if we see more male/female lines in the sand. I think Frank is the main instigator. In my eyes, he's the number one reason the 8 Pack is splintering. He's falling fast in my HG ranks....who calls a woman a slut? And why is he playing this way? He WAS trained by Boogie who notoriously had problems with females and respect, so that might be the answer to his issues.

I want so bad to root for Frank, since he is originally an Arkansan an all...but he is making it way to hard by the way he is playing, to much to soon....why not just chill for now. Last night he was trying to plan out the next 5-6 evictions. That is getting way ahead of yourself...execute this week first dude.

There does seem to a division among the genders forming. It's the same ol', same ol' with the guys. Nearly every season the strong and mighty males seem to form a side alliance, using the ''weaker'' sex to the their advantage, while contemplating their downfall and planning their evictions. The girls always talk about forming an all girl alliance but it never works out. I would like to see it happen this year with their first target being Frank as I see him being the instigator in so many things. I would like to see the girls keep James and Paulie around longer just cause I like them.

In Frank's defense (darn you Nono) she DID call him a douche first. And they were KINDA playing.
I honestly don't see a lot of differences in Frank and DaVonne. But, if Frank is gone, the male alliance will regroup and continue. Right on down the line. Get out DaVonne AND Zakiyah and the girls are toast.

I agree with you no no. I would personally like to see an all girl alliance. The girls seems more likable this season. Especially Zakiyah, Michelle and Nicole. I also still like James, Paulie and Corey are just the eye candy, especially Corey.

You're on a raft, surrounded by sharks, with a guy hanging off the raft, and decide to rock the raft?

It's the right move to dump Frank, but the timing is so wrong, Tiff. If you want an All Girl finale, then help the majority get rid of another male, Vic, first. Then hold steady while team comps continue and don't make yourself the biggest target. Once the team factor ends, it's time to strike. Keep the targets on those who will not play with you like Paul or let a weak Bridgette go. And build a team of allies. Play like Derrick or Dan with a ruthless eye to the prize.

But like Vanessa I'm afraid she's gone down the same route but will depart early. No fan of Tiff, but just get frustrated to see bad play. Had hoped for better, but then this hasn't been a season of Einsteins yet.

        Morning all,

I have a somewhat limited view of the house this year. I find a distinct lack of real game talk this year (which is actually a smart game move), Unfortunately, I could care less about any of their backstories, and don't find them particularly interesting or compelling as characters. So, I find myself in agreement with most here, Frank is talking himself out of the house, Nicole is as whiney as I remember her to be, and we don't know yet where anyone's affinity actually lies. I think Michelle is better positioned then most, being in the dominant alliance, the fatal five, and working hard on a Natalie/James/Michelle social group. But, at this point, the goal should be anyboot is a good boot, as long as it is not the hamster. I think this week, for the HOUSE, getting rid of Victor is actually in all their interests, since it takes what is perceived to be a strong competitor out of the mix (for now). I am still following the season, but the game is going to have to really pick up for me to have real interest this year.

Paulie asserted that he has Zak, Corey has Nicole, and Frank has Da'Vonne. But I think it's the other way around. They're using them as a meat shield. Think it's hilarious that James is just one of the girls, but he's only viewed as a mascot by the macho men, not one of them. Love to see the girls pull it off FOR ONCE.

Get rid of Victor? Who will discussing farting? Get rid of Frank? Who will produce the farts Victor must discuss over and over? Get rid of Paul and who will be able to tell stories about how much he drinks while he's stumbling around drunk? Yeah, this a veritable daily meeting of the Algonquin Round Table in that House this year.

I don't fault Tiff for making this move. She knows that she is the odd person out in the 8 pack. She has already had the conversation with Bronte and Natalie about a girl alliance and now with Da. Bronte and Natalie have distanced themselves from Paul and Victor. Bronte, Natalie, Tiff, Da, and Z are onto Frank's play. Bridgette and Michele could be swayed to join forces. I am not sure about Nicole because she has built her support with the males. James could be brought in for the short term. He knows he is not in the guy group. Also Frank has told him Natalie, a potential support, is on the short list by Frank. He also has picked up that Paul is no longer on the hit list. Time will tell if the girls can build trust among themselves even for the short term to get rid of Frank. I think we will see many shifts in affinities throughout the game.

Yes but if Tiff thinks she is the target she would act now. And we all know how paranoid she is and part of her is thinking she is the target, especially when she sees how chummy the guys are with Victor and Paulie.

Tiff has the potential to make herself the target, more from her general actions then from any real scheming. Tiff's undoing is going to be Da'Vonnes paranoia, and inability to override that suspicion, even in the face of Frank building his army of guys. Her better move is to continue to stress Victor as a threat to the collective group, and work to shore up her relationship with the other women, who are now a dominant voting block.

I think Tiff and Da are two sides of the same coin. Both can leave this week as far as I'm concerned. Can't stand the paranoid for no reason but their own stupidity players. Now, after THIS week, I would get it. But to move against your own alliance when you are sitting pretty is just stupid. (Back to canning tomatoes)

I watched for hours last night and this morning. The four vets are still a solid group for now, but Da may cause the end of that.

I think I read somewhere that early on, they discussed the need for all of them to make Jury, in order to have a shot at winning. Since, I have read and seen via flashback, Da make the case to everyone who will listen that she and that other person need to be the final two. If a Vet, it is to emphasize that they have to force newbies to make a choice, if to Zak, she emphasises being a minority, if any other woman, the need to get two women to the end. I have been struck by the guys losing 3 men in a row, if Victor goes. That is the scenario that Tiff has to worry about, the guys waking up to a house that is now 8 women to 5 men after Victor leaves, and realizing they are sledding downhill.

OK just watched Vic with a jump rope and decided he can be there one hour a day just to exercise. Then he has to take his sea gull laugh and fart talk and disappear. He was amazing with the rope, however!!

LOL @ Da'Vonne shining Frank on.

I'm still good with Frank, but I like Tiffany better, and I want the girls to stick together ... so it tickles me that Da' is playing Frank. You go, girl!

Thinking back to Survivor 14 where the surviving guy, Chris, managed to win against a team of women who dominated the game. Could that be James who has teasingly (?) aligned himself with the estrogen side of the house? Mmmnnnn.

Meanwhile Frank gives Da ammunition by telling her his evict list that includes Paul, Corey and Paulie. Da is grinning so slyly with that info tucked away. She's now playing a game with the Spy Girls and Tiff - working the Girl Club.

(List in order: Victor, Bronte, Tiffany, Paul, Bridgette, Paulie, Corey)

Guest That was the joke of that Survivor season, that despite how well the girls played, a guy still managed to win. I can see that rascal James pulling it off just because he survived the 3 months. But right now my crystal ball isn't seeing a definite winner of this group.

I don't see a clears winner yet either. Could be either Zakiyah or James. To me James is playing his own style of how to make it to the end.

Michele's having a mini breakdown crying to James about not finding a job and living in her parent's basement. James goes "Living in your parents basement is not that bad, Shoutout to Jason Roy" -LOL

The more I see of Paulie, the more I like him as a person. Listening to his long conversation with Tiffany shows me there's a bright guy behind that cute bod. Also liked Tiff more when she's not going weepie. I don't this this a bull sh*t lets work together spiel. Looked like they're trying to foster a working partnership. Well, it'll fun to see how it plays out since game is just beginning.
