It was a doozy of an afternoon and night....

Frank's game plan is in jeopardy, as the Eight Pack, starts to turn on each other ...

Tried to get most of it in the Live Feed Updates last night and today ... Enjoy.

Thanks for all the updates. Seems like the game is really taking off now. It should be an interesting week. I like the final five idea of Z, Fa Paulie, Corey and Nicole. Just hope that it was a final 6,that James was included.

Good Morning Lexie, Luanne, and All who follow! After reading TTOT's anology of yesterday, I really liked what she said "But once the team stunt is over, gloves will come off, and then Katy bare the door as Frank's side can't control who is annointed." Soooo true! THAT is exactly what I am waiting for. I am liking this season - for many reasons, but for one, there is a lot of early strategizing due to 4 returnees & a couple of newbies who know the BB game pretty well. HG's like Paul, are playing "catch-up" and getting a first-class lesson in terminology and game strategy in BB that is both entertaining and interesting to listen to. The cluelessness never ceases to amaze me! As I say this, I am biting my tongue at the same time, but....even though Victor is earmarked for eviction, ANYTHING can happen before Thursday, so...what if the house evicts Tiffany instead? I know it is not likely (I understand that) but hey, it would be interesting if Vic stayed and Tiff was evicted. Just thinking out loud. At this point, I am still liking James, Paulie, Natalie, Zak & Michelle. Hope you all have a wonderful day today! (It is HOT here in PA today!)

Natalie is actually growing on me, but I think it has something to do with her budding relationship with James. After watching him get turned down last season by Meg and hear others say 'he's a great friend, but not their type'; I'm kind of pulling for this showmance to turn into something real for him. I think she really does like him. Usually I don't buy into the showmance hype, but he's so genuine I'd love to see him make it to the end AND get the girl.

Yea if James finds true love, though I think this just a game thing - limited options while prisoners in the house.

My ego has to correct you - those words you liked are mine - grin. But thx for the like and requote.

Good Morning Luanne, Freebyrd and all BBU fanatics!

Free... I got pretty lucky yesterday, but I think it's b/c I have a good read on how the vets play and especially what Day will do.

      To that end........

Frank did himself zero favors last night by continuing to make demands, dictate, target his closest allies and treat the women like he's a 16 year old bratty boy. I swear if I didn't know better I'd say he was drunk or on something.

At first Corey and Paulie weren't having it, but like I alluded to in some posts yesterdays it would take 2 things to swing the momentum and both occurred:

Zakiyah finally opened up to Paulie and told him how Frank was the one who came up with the name 8Pack (a fact later confirmed w/o time for plotting, so Paulie knows it's true). Z further told Paulie how he has deals everywhere in the house, and told her not to trust Paulie, has others targeting him and she doesn't respect him because he slapped her in the butt and has been rude to her (and she's upset her Mother has to see that).

The second big thing was Day (as well as Nicole) getting to James. Who it just so happened had just had a conversation with Frank who was dumping on Corey and Paulie and telling him he had to take them out (I didn't see this.. read it and in one write up it appeared James also told Nic that Frank may have also tried to pit James against Nicole).

So it all came pouring out. Nic, Day and James are now plotting on how they can get the info to Corey that Frank wants James to target them and is throwing them under the bus.

Corey and Paulie are reeling a bit as they thought Frank was genuine and now know there are too many coincidences to ignore. Furthermore, in another of Frank's rants he made it clear to Paulie that he wants to carry Bridgette, Natalie and Paul further in the game.

I'm not sure if I've ever witnessed a BB player's game blown up so completely and expeditiously ever before. While most good players sense trouble and find a way to pull people back in or do damage control, Frank was literally the master of his own demise.

That said, I suspect if the house gets a chance to oust him they will, BUT I fully expect him to return in the buy back.

For now, I'm just happy we have a different narrative to focus on!

Okay time to write about how Kevin Durant has completely changed the semantics of the NBA. Have a great day all.

Ah, Kevin Durant. I am a Cleveland girl, and root for all my teams: Browns, Indians, and Cavs. I totally get it Crissykins. We have had the rug pulled out from under us more times than I care to count. I really liked Durant, and realize that as a free agent he was free to go (ahem, LeBron James) but it hurts when they do. Personally, I would never want to go and join my biggest competitor, but that is just me. Maybe Cleveland fans just prefer the hardest road...lol! We finally have a champion and it feels really good. I will be rooting for OKC to pull through this free agency period strong and give GSW a run for their money this year!!! Back to regularly scheduled BB commentary....

TTOT - I like reading your assessments. With so many people in the house it can get quite confusing reading about what so-and-so's alliance member said about another person and etc. Yours are understandable so that I don't have to keep re-reading trying to figure out what who said what about who. I can't remember Frank's season that well, except for the dislike that immediately flooded back to me as I saw him. He wasn't too bad in the beginning of this season, but I do still like reading about his demise.

As an Okie native working in the City, everybody is pretty upset about Durant's leave, ranging from crabby FB posts to apparently people shooting their KD jerseys . Which I think is pretty ridiculous, considering what KD has done for our city and our state. One of my closest friends went over to his restaurant (it wasn't to eat there) and actually got interviewed by a news crew about the whole thing. I don't really care, because honestly he didn't impress me much. I like Westbrook better, when he keeps his temper in check. As long as we still get to keep Adams, I am a VERY happy girl.

Morning Lexie and all who follow.

An eventful day game wise in the BB House as erstwhile allies compare notes, betray each others confidences, and make plans for next week.

Da and Nicole, finally have had enough of Frank, and are making moves to get him out. This involved a serial chain of convo's with all the members of the 8 Pack, except Frank. Even Michelle was brought in as part of the Fatal Five alliance.

The upshot, all know something needs to happen with Frank, but not all agree that it needs to be next week. That is always the problem in these situations. The tension is ratcheting up, and if Da/Nicole/Tiff are not careful, Tiff could be the unintended casualty of the house breaking open too soon. Victor is still programmed to go Thursday, but if the guys were to decide to break the house open, they have enough votes, with 1 girl defection (likely Bridgette), Tiff could find herself talking to Julie.

Nicole is vacillating between Da and Corey, and has Da to Corey. Da returned the favor, and threw Nicole under the bus. All the Fatal Five had a brief meeting, but it was broken up by Frank, who despite his arrogance, is a perceptive player, and likely did not miss the fact that all 5 girls of the 8 pack were in a room talking together.

Bottom line, the 8 pack is fracturing, Da and Frank have rising targets, Tiff has a falling target, but could be caught in the crossfire, Victor is still going home.

Every year I'm split between who I like as a person and who's play I like. Usually not same person. I adored Jordan, but won thru big degree of luck. Dislike Derrick as a person, but play was brilliant. ETC ETC ETC

So far like Paulie as person and player, but he started on the outside. Can he marshall the right troops when he's no longer HOH to topple King James? (In other words, can he herd cats?) Enjoy Z' s stealth game, but will she be able to get her kick going when she must win stuff? Adore James and although his instincts are good, he's so often out of the loop that he's just an afterthought.

Paul is such a putz. He espouses love and brotherhood on one side of his mouth while spewing vile comments out the other. His tears yesterday were all about him - eew, I'm being seen doing rotten things, oh woe is me. Meanwhile Frank keeps him around as a possible goat. Wait till he learns Frank put him up.

Bronte is so easy to dislike with her negative personality and fake boop-boop-be-doo voice and hippie flowers. But though perceptive to house fibes, by attaching herself to the Jozea train she's only on the track to Evictionville.

The rest I wait to see as the game is played out. As long as the team game is played one side is using it to control the house. Despite their differences getting exposed, I think they'll see power in numbers for now. Bronte is in most danger, despite arrows aimed at Tiff and Frank. But more teary breakdowns or Vanessa style interrogations and Tiff will be talking to Julie this coming Thursday. Pretty sure Vic departs tomorrow. Frank may have posted his own sell by date on himself.

My guess is Michelle will be new HOH and Bronte is still the target, though Frank could be Road Kill nom. But my crystal ball is foggy, so not running to Vegas to bet real money. I do have some golden $500 bills with a guy wearing a top hat and monocle I'll be happy to wager.

It only takes one of the 8 to explain to the others how the comps are being controlled, and then they can reverse the flow themselves. I think the interesting thing to watch Thursday, is what kind of game they play for HoH. If it becomes a joint puzzle comp, Nic/Corey/Tiff just might pull a win. Then what will Frank do?

Gonna be fun to watch, though I'm sure TPTB will block us again like the did last week.

One has to wonder if finding out about the 8 pack has driven an icy little wedge into Paulie's heart for Zakiyah, He's a fool if it hasn't. Not only did she join an alliance without him, She could have told him about it with little blowback and chose not to.

I just wish he wasn't so open with her.

Just finished watching a lot of flash backs. I am so impressed with Zak. She handled her LONG talk with Paulie like a pro. She validated his feelings. Was quite when she needed to be quite. Asked him what he was thinking in a kind, gentle way. Acted out of the loop on a lot of the house problems. Secured an alliance going forward. Paulie only trust her and Corey. He told her about his deal with Corey from day 2. He said he was ok if Corey and Zak had someone they trusted to bring in. They decided on Da and Nicole. I wish she did not trust Da so much, but I think this would be a great alliance.

They talked about sending Frank home. Zak wants to next week. Corey said they needed to wait until they sent some of his votes home. They have to be careful because Frank is a comp. beast, and if they took their shot and missed.

Corey was upset because he was the one that went to the vets on day 2, and told them about the other side (Jozea, etc.) He agreed to go on the block to help them stay in the game, yet when an alliance was formed, they did not include him.

I think James is the one that would have the guts to put Frank up. I do not think we will see the other teams throwing the HOH to let Frank's team win.

Tiffany is not cut out for this game at all. Zak, Michelle, Nicole, Corey and Tiffany were in the have not room. Everyone talking, joking, getting a long. Tiffany was just sitting there, with her hat pulled down, bitting her nails. She did not contribute one word to the conversation.

I'd be in such trouble in that House. I'd be told 'You're not allowed to talk Production' and I'd be a snot saying things like:

But, Production, you're so big and strong and sexy, I just can't resist talking about you!

Watching Frank blow his own game up is fascinating.
He's played this game before, but his partner really didn't do him any good then, and what he took away from his last season is nothing that will help him in this season.

I also just don't get his idea of game play. He has a lot of bad attitude, how does he actually think - that by dictating and demanding what's going to happen and when, while basically shoving what he wants down everyone else's throats, and being a downright jerk much of the time - will help him? He has no comprehension of being subtle, he's quite the opposite of subtle.

Every season there is at least one big move targeted HG (in this case, I think it's Frank) who the other HG's want to get them out of the house, and they know it!
Yet, most of the time they actually choose to evict a lesser threat and believe "they will have time to do it next week". How that happens every season is beyond me. You can't ever count on there being a perfect 'next time' or 'next week' to get that one HG out, something will almost always happen to mess up that line of thinking or plan.

Someone will flip, Another who may know or highly suspect someone else allows themselves to be swayed into a 'majority vote' or a vote they *know* won't be good for their game.... ***
          - BB will throw out a curveball, a buyback comes into play, the one person who the rest don't want to get HOH actually wins it, POV's, you name it. Anything can happen... So I just can't understand why, when the majority has a good target they will typically evicts someone else, and worse for a majority or an alliance when they vote out one of their own alliance members. Blows me away. Sure, we know more than they do individually, but gosh, when you are on BB you should really know the game, or at least the basics. There is a problem with recruits who know nothing, then there are fans or super fans or returning players who do know the game, yet the same mistakes happen every time.

*** and right there is where I have my other issue, about voting being secret and yet they still vote with the house. Argh.

but, I still love the game.

Hi Guest, I think that Frank just got too comfortable and impatient. Nobody pushed back so he just kept getting bolder. If you look at the comments on here at the beginning, there is a lot of praise for Frank's game cause he started out a lot more stealthy. I think his ego is starting to write checks that won't clear the BB bank.....

I think some have the mindset that James mentioned yesterday. He made comments about getting big targets out letting ''floater types'' slip by while they are focused on a bigger target and make it to the end (Victoria in final 3, Steve last year winning, etc.). I think they would rather have a Frank make it over a Bridgette. I see both I guess. If they start getting bigger (Frank/Tiff) then Nat, Bronte, etc slips by then they could have numbers while 8+1 fracture voting out members. If they get small fish then bigger comp beast fish can swim through. I personally think it's a damn if you do damn if you don't game, lol.

I found that last year. And now I once again don't have the live feeds, so I sorta want to watch the shows just to get a sense for how the people talk -- since so many people here have such strong feelings about that -- but it's old news, so even when I don't forget, sometimes I just say ''meh''.

And last night America's Got Talent pulled a fast one on me and said they'll be doing the show on both Tuesday and Wednesday -- not caring at all that I already had a Wednesday show. So now I have to decide what to watch, and it's possible AGT will win out because I already know what's gonna happen on BB.

No Tivo or DVR here ... not even cable ... we're bare bones.
