Morning all. Brigette has the PoV and whether she doesn't use it or uses it on Bronte, the target is Tiffany at the moment. Who knows though what the week will bring. Let the games begin.

Morning geo, and all who follow,

With the POV complete, and Bridgette the winner, Tiff is on her way out the door. The current plan is to have the members of the 8-pack keep telling her she is safe, and then vote her out on Thursday. Da has tried a few times with Nicole and James to switch the target to Paul, but has been rebuffed, and so will let Tiff go out. Da has re-engaged Nicole, and pulled her back in, but still wants Corey out soon, so Nicole has no other options.

James has built further trust in Da by telling her that he has told Natalie about who won Roadkill, and she has not told anyone. That has built his trust in Natalie, and now DaVonne has info that she can use to poison the relationship between James and Nat, if she needs to.
The pack of James/Da/Nic/Paulie/Zak are working a long game, starting now, to drop hints to Frank that Michelle might need to go on the block next week to protect Frank. This is to gain his confidence and get him to throw the HoH, along with Paulie, and Michelle, making Frank available to be nominated or backdoored next week.

Not much else to see this week, unless Tiff realizes she is going home. She has info on Frank, and a lot of info on Da and Nicole with regards to Frank. The problem is that she can only burn Frank to Bridgette, who could only save her by using the PoV, and it would force her to turn on Frank openly, which is a high risk move, and therefore low probability of happening. Burning Nicole and Da, to Frank, would still result in her being booted if she is on the block, but it would burn their games going forward. In any event, I am not convinced Tiff has that much game in her.

Morning one and all. I definitely saw a resigned look on Tiff' s face last night. She's accepted that she's departing and I think is probably relieved to get out of the house. Doubt she'll fight very hard to get back in either. Smart players like Da will undoubtedly pump her for info disguising the conversation as trying to help her stay by getting Paul or Bronte/Natalie out. But, since Tiff has never really been more than fringe player, she won't have that much new to contribute.

Its been fun to watch Paulie move from an outsider accepting being on the block to the leader of the larger alliance, pushing Frank on to the Endangered Species list. His quiet polite good-natured confidence makes the group feel comfortable around him. Of course they don't want to be sitting next to him at the end, but he looks now like he could get them to the end. No I'm not blinded by his looks, I'm judging his actions and behaviors.

Frank is the author of his own downfall by his blindness to how his treatment of women is viewed. I'm sure several women in his life haven't liked it, but like Da and Z were reluctant to speak up. In a season where woman are dominating by numbers you need to respectively court them like James, Paulie and Corey have done. Paul is also clueless. I was shocked last night when he was requesting the hobbling Bridgette to get him stuff for his baking. No gentleman or human consideration in him.

The Core Five have Michelle and Corey who can be either fodder or absorbed as the game continues. The Spy/Powder Puff Girls are cored around Bronte. Wonder if Bridgette gets how quickly her sympathy Ice Cream Social fell apart? Even the instigator Bronte didn't follow thru. Poor guilt-ridden Frank sat there forever finally asking what the hey? That's a social clue to Bridgette that you're on the bottom of the rungs of your group when you're not catered to even when you're injured. But I guess when you're in the luxury of the HOH room you sometimes don't realize that you're pretty ALONE in the HOH room.

So looks like Tiff will depart this Thursday and possibility Frank the week after. I doubt either Glenn or Jozea or Tiff will outplay Victor, so that sets up a possible Victor/Frank battle. Either winner could link up with the Spy/Powder Puff girl trio w/Paul to create a rebel alliance against the majority. Of course, nothing is ever carved in stone in BB which is why we watch. But I think we're ready for a less lopsided, predictable week than we've had. Heck as much as I'd cringe, I'm ready for a UGH Bronte or Paul HOH week, just to shake stuff up. (Yep, I can't believe I just said that, but sometimes we need sour to cut the sweet.)

PS: I'm forgiving Da from hugging my Paulie Boy since he needed it last night.

Morning all...(Hey, sdkgeo and KeninVA and BettyBoo ). Life has kept me from being as BB involved as I wish to be, but I am able to watch the feeds sometimes and always stop by here to read what y'all have to say. Next week is my 60th birthday trip (YAY birthday...and KennyERJ turns 50 on the same day) so it will be busy too, but hopefully I'll still be checking in when I can.

This morning I'm able to sit down for a spell and think about BB. I like Tiffany. I've been hoping for her to find a way to stay, and every time Frank talks about how mean he's going to be, I pull for her a little bit more. Gracious, someone needs to take some wind out of Frank's sails (is that a real phrase? Did I use it correctly? I may have it mixed up but you get the gist).

I've been wondering why Tiffany isn't playing harder...why isn't she telling the things she knows, scheming to change the target? Then I read KeninVA 's line above: "I am not convinced Tiff has that much game in her" and I realized that Ken nailed it: Tiff REALLY isn't a gameplayer like Vanessa. She looks and sounds so much like her that I've totally assumed that she shares all of Vanessa's gaming strengths. But she may not be a gamer at heart...she's not Vanessa, or at the very least her survival gaming instincts are low. That explains so very much of her behavior...and if she's not astute enough to realize they're lying to her about being safe and she's not enough of a problem-solver to make a last ditch effort at staying, then I'm fine with her going. Tiffany and Vanessa both cry, but then Vanessa got up and made moves. Tiffany simply cries and then convinces herself that all is well. Or she doesn't know what move to make, so she ignores the trouble glaring at her in the face.

And next week I want Frank gone. I love that James/Da/Nic/Paulie/Zak are smart enough to attempt a long-con on Frank. I hope he buys Michelle as a target and throws the next HoH. That would be so dang fun.

I agree that Tiffany doesn't have the game in her.

Some small part of me is hoping for DR interference to push someone to spill the beans on Frank's Road Kills, but I doubt DR would try to endanger Frank's game in order to save Tiffany since Tiffany brings so much less to the table.

Just read in last night's updates about Paulie talking about that time when Cody cried because he "had to" put Donny up after he had promised he wouldn't. And felt a wave of revulsion for Cody.

But I won't hold it against Paulie. As the brother, he has to remember/spin things in Cody's favor. He can't share in the scorn we had for Cody for slicing off his own balls and gifting them to Derrick in a little velvet box with a silk ribbon tied round.

Still love Paulie. He has already shown more game than Cody did.

I _liked_ Cody. But there were many points which made it clear that he was playing for the opportunity to write Derrick a half million dollar check. That time with Donny was one of those occasions.

I agree he's a wonderful guy. That revulsion was very specific to the memory of the unnecessary promise and promise break. Cody didn't ''have to'' do that. He did that because he was so manipulatable by Derrick. That was a chance for him to break free. He didn't take it. But Paulie seems more well-rounded, and has had the benefit of learning from both Cody and Derrick.

Frank really is a peace of work. He covers up his rotten self with his good ole boy used car salesman charm, but when you're on camera 24/7 it's hard to hide your true self. Hopefully he'll learn from this experience to be a better person. But his decision to harass someone when they're down, sure doesn't show he's there yet. It'll be an education for him if the group outplays him next week.

I haven't seen any of these things that Frank has said or done, but just hearing about them makes me want him gone. I hope that someone has the nerve to put him up. Since Tiff thinks that she is safe is she notcompaigning to stay? Whatever happened to the days of both, or all three nominees campaigning to stay? It made the game more interesting. Come on Tiff wake up and smell the roses.

Must admit I don't respond well to the Frank-type personalities. I worked 40 yrs in the steel biz and always got along better w/the nerdy IT guys than the sales guys probably since I'm detailed orientated. I did inventory control and NAFTA certification, stuff that the sales people didn't want to be bothered with. But, I am hoping he doesn't get nasty with Tiff. Let her depart with some dignity. I'm hoping that Frank can see it from the womans point of view and how often we tolerate stuff in the workplace to keep a job. I know, I've experienced it and glad that girls are learning to not have to tolerate it and to speak up.

I also don't think that Frank is a bad guy outside the house. I think he's a bit chauvinistic by nature and Has a bit of non-self awareness about him. But I have to stand with Da and the girls because it has to be horrible feeling like you need to "accept " demeaning comments and slaps on the a&& to stay safe in the house. That has to be a horrible feeling to think ...I just have to take this harassment so I can get through the game. That's horrible and not fair to all women. I know people will argue why didn't she say anything but I think Tiffany is a prime example of why she didn't say anything. I think she has a good read on Frank and knew that he would be coming for her if she made a fuss. For the record ..I too think his apology was sincere but I'm not in her position ..,to Accept not accept his apology. Obviously she feels some kinda way and she wasn't ready to accept that and that's her prerogative. I think she wouldn't excepted because she knows that was not going to be the end of it. Even if it ended with her he would still do it to other girls because he lacks self awareness in that area..

Lady Luck was not on our side this week. Bridgette gets HOH and P:OV, leaving no possibility of sending Frank home till next week (if that works out). But it has been an interesting week for game play and planning, scheming, realignments, suspicions, and could be setting up an epic downfall next week that will excite us viewers.

Tiffany's heart and head were never in to the game. I think she tried but she was the castaway from the beginning. No one ever trusted her to be rational and calm and, therefore, she was always seen as a possible loose link in anyone's individual or alliance game. They alienated her and she further alienated herself from them. She just never seemed to want to or be able to really jump in and find a spot to land, staying alone on her own little island. i don't think campaigning now would be effective and I'm no sure Tiff has it in her to want to do it. TPTB may try to light an fire under Tiff and get her talking more to people but I don't think the plan will change. Tiff will be going home.

The next few days will be boring other that listening to their plans on how to get Frank out. I don't think Tiff is going to go off and tell everything that she knows. I think most the talk will be about next week's plans for HOH, plans for nominations, plans for a backdoor, and all that. I think Frank just needs to leave Tiffany alone. There is no reason for him to try to stir things up with her. Just let her go quietly with some dignity.

Paulie, Paulie, Paulie......put some wings on that boy and he's as pretty as an angel. He has quickly moved up on my ''most liked'' list this year. He's still showing some of his ''newby'' ignorance but, overall, has a good social game, is athletic, is observant, is good for the eyes, and is playing a fairly good game.

I'm still a big fan of James. I just want to see him step up and do something other than throw a comp. I know he doesn't want to put himself in a position of having to choose sides yet but he needs to show me more. I want to see him have more of an impact on the game.

I have said before, I would pay extra for a separate feed from the diary room, that lets you see the producers actually talking to the hamsters, especially about where they think they are in the game, and who is on their side and who is not. I keep hoping that they know when the last season is actually going happen, and just broadcast everything but the music, so we can see how the show is produced.

            • #15
Just popped in for a bit. I am struck by Frank's absolute trust in so many people not to blow his game up. More to the point, it's like he did not learn anything from his first rodeo. One of Dan's great downfalls was not having enough vets on jury to help him out, and argue for him to win. Without that, the rough play, and broken promises worked to stoke the new players resentment, and he never had a shot at the win, when he got there. By targeting Day, should he succeed, he creates an environment that is open season on Vets, putting himself, Nicole and James at risk of being pre-jury boots. Ending up with only one vet on jury will lower his odds of winning, and trying to keep himself and one vet in, will be an almost impossible task. It is the downside of Da's plan, which is once Frank goes, the newbies are going to be incentivized to take the other Vets out.

Paulie and Corey are reading Paul in and pulling him into their circle. Paul gets Bronte, who gets Nat and Bridgette, and now with Frank gone, and a leader to marshall the troops, James and Da are likely to become early casualties right after Frank.
