    Morning all.

Expect Da to go up today when Corey takes himself off the block. Will we see a confrontation between Tiffany and Da?? I certainly hope so. The question is are the votes there? (Cue dramatic music)

Maybe not today, but no way Da can hold it in all week. She will explode at some point on one or more people. Should be exciting to watch. But will it be enough to change the voteThursday?

Morning geo, and all who follow,

Tiff reversed course, as soon as Corey won the PoV, and instead of offering up Nic, she is going to offer up Da. She has been on a righteous truth campaign, and has blown the entire house's game up. Her most effective strikes, the Fatal Five, Mich, Da, Nic and Z. Paulie believes Tiff, because he told Z something, and Tiff repeated the exact words to him, which she got from Da. Only Z could have told her that. Paulie is now confident that the path forward is to pull Corey, Paul, and James closer, and start removing girls, as soon as Frank is gone. Tiff is still his number one to boot this week, but, Tiff was number one last week, and he changed his mind.

Tiff has gone from Zombie status, to life support. Nic and Corey, especially Nic, wants Da out badly, and if the 5th vote could be found, and they can square it with Paulie, would vote Da out over Tiff. To that end, Paul floats the idea to Paulie that I should vote out Da, in order to make sure Frank can feel like I am on his side. Paulie is actually agreeable to that. This sets up a potential vote flip, even if unintentional. Part of Tiff's tactics is to take a page out of Paul and Da's books. She is blaming everything that has happened in the house on Da, and especially blames the Corey nom on Da. We know Tiff came up with that on her own, but with Corey being safe, she needs to vilify the target, building her up to be a bigger threat then herself.

I have come to realize, half the house lies repeatedly, making up stories from whole cloth to damage and target the other players. Only Frank (for the most part), James, Nat, and Z, don't makes things up. Mich, Da, Tif, Nic, Paul (the worst of the bunch), Bridgette have all gone around telling tales that are completely fabricated. It has been what has led to a fractured house.

The women are going to get killed this season, after a strong start, as they all go after each other for either game, or personal reasons.

Not much going to happen until after PoV ceremony, but I expect lots of drama and histrionics, as D goes on the block, and likely attacks Tiff.

      Morning everyone...
I'm only somewhat back (and still have another couple of weeks before I can pay full attention), but I tried to catch up with BB yesterday. I'm still confused. I can no longer stand by my original list of favorite HGs because no one appears to be playing the game with any long term strategy. Trickery, lies and mean-spiritedness are bountiful, but the goal seems to simply make it to the next week and re-group.

It happened to Survivor recently: People weren't really in solid alliances, but they would join together each week in "voting blocks" based on what needed to happen that one week. I think on Survivor it was heralded as playing the "new Survivor" as opposed to "old Survivor." Maybe it's because I've been out of pocket and haven't been able to watch enough, but the alliances seem to have disappeared and the HGs are shifting into voting blocks for whatever week they are in.

Are there any true alliances? Before I left I commented that it seemed as if they were playing in pairs, not real alliances. But now I'm having trouble even figuring out who is a real pair (except for James and Natalie). Nicole thinks she and Corey are, but then Paulie and Corey talk about cutting the girls. I could name more confusing pretend alliances, but it wears me out.

So now I'm down to a list of people I do NOT want to win: Frank, Nicole (whining, paranoid, crying over a guy), and Corey. Tiffany is exhibiting all of the negatives of her sister without any of the positives, so she's fallen way down on my list for the moment.

I don't really care who goes home this week, but I prefer that it be Tiffany over Da simply because I don't want Frank to get his way. If Da goes home, though, maybe it shakes something up and they have to start strategizing for long term? Something's got to give.

I am hoping that Julie announces that the teams are over this Thursday. They ended the teams on BB14 when they were going into the week with 12 HGs (after the coach reset) and that's the same number of HGs we'll have after the pre-jury battle back happens. Wonder when Battle-Back Winner will enter the house? Friday night after the special show?

ETA: KeninVA posted while I was typing, so reading his thoughts helps me understand a bit more. But I still don't get who is actually truly alligned? Anyone? Bueller?

Except for Natalie and James, I don't believe there are any real alliances. There can't be as most of the house constantly lies and a lot of the time there is no clear reasoning to me. This is the week to week house.

Hi'ya Nono! Miss you. I kinda feel the opposite: I am hoping the almost impossible - that Da goes home and Tiff stays. Not because I love her gameplay, (Oh, lordy lordy!) but because I just want to see more unpredictable stuff happen in the house. It's a long-shot, but could end up happening if only the sun, moon & stars line up for me this week! lol

And they deserve to get killed if they can't play any smarter than they are. I had such high hopes for them. But even though I still love Zakiyah...what is she thinking? This is BIG BROTHER, not The Bachelor. And Nicole's behavior over Corey is embarrassing. She should know better since she's played the game before.

If those girls don't get their act together, I'm switching to Paulie and James as my F2 favorites (no Corey, please. And Paul is more likeable now, but I'm not entirely sold on him yet.)

Me too! That's the train I'm riding! Still undecided on Michelle. I do think her game play has picked up in subtle ways. I'd like to see her win something and take control, lead the house through an HOH before I step on her train though.

If Paulie lets everyone talk him into letting Tiffany escape eviction a second week in a row, then he has turned himself into Cody. I hope he doesn't do that. I want to see one of the Calafiore boys able to withstand the manipulation. I think he needs the eviction for his self confidence. I hope he gets it.

I'm afraid he could crumble if Tiffany stays. He would be shaken and I don't trust Calafiore boys to handle that well.

Paul has turned himself into outright snake. He's not even hiding it. Nearly full downloads to both sides? How does that make sense?

The only thing that makes less sense is both sides not figuring it out.

So what is it with Tiffany saying that Da' told her to put up Corey and that Da' had the votes to get Corey out?

Does Tiffany believe it is so? She seems to honestly believe that she doesn't lie ... but so far that _seems_ like a lie ... unless something was said off camera ... or unless something was said which Tiffany misunderstood.

Hmmm, I know Da does lie a lot, but I honestly think that she has heard Corey's name thrown around with a few HG's in the past, therefore convincing even herself that it could be true. She also just didn't want to be the one on the block (obviously).

per the show last night, it was Frank & Tiff who came up with Corey as the RK nom

    • #9
I am curious how Paul will react with the returning HG. I think it will most likely be either Bronte or Victor. If Bronte, Paul will not see her as a threat. If Victor, I think he will see this as a threat to his new position in the house and work to get him out thereby delaying the Frank or Bridgette eviction.

If a flip happens it will be in part because the 8 Pack just couldn't play like an alliance, but I'll probably put a big portion of the blame on Nicole.

Frank was clearly on the outs. Da was planting seeds but doing it consistently and had calmed down. Nicole acted like she was with Da' but was actively plotting against her -- and got caught. And if the flip happens, it's looking like it could because of Nic's paranoia about her deeply shady play being projected onto Da'.

Sooo ... in a way, Da' has brought this on herself, but Nic's betrayal seems more shady since ... well ... since it's an outright betrayal of girl power. Nic plays up to the guys in a very unattractive way (attractive to the guys, unattractive for us viewers), and she wants Da' out because she Nic got caught in her creepy anti-girl-power game.

I'm on the Paulie/James/Natalie train AND I want Da to stay this week. I need Z to show some game thinking, but I still like her. And I like Michelle much better than I like Nicole, Bridgette, or Tiffany.

        • #12
The two main battles have come to a head, but are those on the losing side conscious that they are on the wrong side now?

Frank has officially lost the group leadership to Paulie. That began with Paulies first HOH and ended with the the Da blow-up. Sadly Frank still believes he's part of the team and is puzzled why they came after him. I don't even think he's aware he's on the short list despite all the evidence staring him in the face. Depending on how the buy back works he might not make it to Jury. Rather sad how quickly he lost the game and sadder how puzzled he is that he's on the outside.

Da'Vonne has been bested by Nic in the friendship game. Nicole has Michelle and Corey. Even Frank doesn't realize Nic' s against him. And Zak and Natalie like to hang out with her. Meanwhile, Da is being painted as one of the next to go. Tiff made it her duty to get Da out and it must be noted that nobody is doing more than confirming she will leave, just not this week. She realizes on some degree it's happening, but like someone sliding down a hill she is only grabbing at branches that keep snapping off in her hands.

All the talk of loyalty and lying is hilarious to me. This is a game for a half million that only person can win. It is not a team sport where even the guys on the bench get a ring. You must deceive to outwit. You must convince others that your goal is also their goal. The best lie is the one with enough truth to not only convince others, but leave you with plausible deniability if confronted. The old, sorry I misunderstood, misinterpreted or didn't mean that, it was a joke, not the no I never said that, when others know you did. The notion that people will keep secrets when conversation is the only allowed activity is an absurdity.

I watched Paulies eyes on Michelle and his smiles at what she was saying. His hands are on Zak, but he sees Michelle as a true working partner. He's expressed to his crew his growing affection for her. She should be there a while. Corey is Paulies Cody. They speak the same language: sports. Paul amazes me at his ability to not only survive but thrive despite a rocky start. James continues to bop around like the rubber ducky, not sinking, but not going forward. Nat is the saint while Bridgette is barely mentioned other than as Frank's companion in crime.

As long as Da holds it together, than Tiff goes to compete for buy back (which I doubt she'll win). After that there are too many unresolved issues to determine a true path. Will teams and Road Kill end? How will buy back HG re-enter house, protected or ??? Paulie will be vulnerable, but will anyone take a shot at him? As soon as I get used to change, it all changes. (Ziggie wisdom)

My only observation is I don't remember a crew of so many just making stories up. Most of the time, lies are of the half-truth, or implied motive, vs. outright saying so and so said this to me, or in front of me, and so and so never said anything. Michelle, Da, Tiff, Z, and Paul, especially Paul, does this constantly. The only victim I feel sorry for is Nat, who is just outclassed in the game, much like Amber from S16. Especially troubling since Z is doing it out of pure catty fear, and Michelle engages in it for sport. Makes it hard to watch the feeds.

Honestly, I'm thinking right now that Paulie and Corey have placed her into the kid sister category (Corey spent a lot of time reassuring Michelle last night). But we know that the sister chick can evolve into the girlfriend, so who knows as the show goes on or after the show, especially with Paulie. But, there was real affection in his eyes when he listened to her. It wasn't the 'Damn you're sexy, more gosh you're cute.'
