Morning everybody. Feeds will be out until 9 BBT. midnight ET, but what do you think about where the house stands. What did Julie mean last night about "Secrets to Discover"? Who do you think/want the returnee to be?

      Good morning,
This year has been pretty hard for me to watch. It is honestly shameful on the vets part that there are 4 of them in the game and yet a newbie (Paulie) is still running it.

I didn't care for Frank during his season, (mostly because of my love for Dan) but I had high hopes for him starting out and was really Team Frank and the Vets. Then they started self-imploding and ruined their games. They had a strong thing going in the 8, then they started letting paranoia and selfishness set in. Nicole jumps in a showmance like that worked so much for her the last time, James is playing his whole game based off of his like for Natalie, Da, instead of calming disputes within her alliance, and keeping the 8 strong, she was the one who stirred the pot even more against Frank, given yes Frank was being obnoxious but she could have spoken to him on her own and squashed that so not to cause a divide in the group. She is no "mamma Da" in my book. I'm a mom and if she truly deserved that title she'd know how to calm disputes, and mend fences for the greater cause. Peace and 500,000 dollars.

How is is it that in a house of newbies, these four "Vets" couldn't keep the order that they had established in the 8, but let it slip through their fingers? It's honestly sad. They started out so strong.

I am still on the Da train ...but slowly stepping off. Not only does she need an check her tude...she sleeps so much of the time .Even when she was on the block!! That just really baffled me she's smarter that!! And I can't believe she told James she is going after couples and not including him in and showmance. She lost James after that and that was disappointing to see. She truly doesn't have anybody (well maybe Michelle) to team up with now. And I'm fairly sure and unless somebody does something really stupid… She's going to be the next boot. Michelle and James and even Natalie are playing pretty good game. By the way… You look so pretty in your picture💕

Hey Purr, I'm doing good. I hope you're well. I've been lurking. Been busy. TTOT Things are going slow with my book. Lol, but I signed a deal with a publisher in New York on a YA book, and I also may have something in the works with Penguin Random House. (Fingers Crossed) We believe my series will be my breakout novel.

Aww, Thank you 2much. I still love James he's playing a better game then Da and Frank, but he's driving me crazy. I am not sure he will do what's best for him when the time comes that he needs to.
Has anyone thought about how He would react if Victor comes in the house? Because yes, Natalie was fed up with him but I felt she had a true attraction to him by was dissappointed in his behavior toward her. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I was also on the Da train, but she is making big mistakes. Hopefully this week scared her bring on the block and she pulls it together, but she is in line to be booted next.

OK I confess, I'm the Secret. When you see the red mark on the back of Paulies bald head, that was from the smack of my hand on his head while I shouted, 'What we're you thinking!.

Last night could be when he lost the game with a stupid haircut. Hyperbole? The way we present ourselves sends a message to our world. Before, he commanded the respect of the troops with his calm cool leadership. Remember how the last three weeks he has directed the votes; nothing was done without his approval.

The combined faces looked askance at Paul shaving Paulies head. It wasn't just a bad haircut, it was a silly looking haircut. AND worse was that he now looked like Paul, his flunky!! Just so bad at a time when the game is shifting. A returning player can certainly mess up the delicate ecosystem he's created. His haircut becomes a joke, HE becomes the joke, not the all great and powerful Oz.

Well, we'll see the immediate reactions to him tonight. But, I just think he's sent a bad message to his 'minions'. However, Frank and Da still appear to be the bigger immediate targets along with the Mystery Date, so he can probably weather this week. But the coming Fast Forward may see him in Jury. Don't toss the clown show away, Paulie, you're gonna need it!!

The returnees were given protection by TPTB in the team format. And they had easy targets with Jozea being a buffoon with Victor and Bronte being part of that group, so easy outs. Tiff shot herself and was put out if her misery. Frank and Da have painted huge bulleyes on themselves while Nicole runs around crying 'The sky is falling'. I'm sensing Da is in most trouble, followed by Frank, then Nicole this week, but we won't know till after tonight's show, just how things will fall out.

I think the Secrets is going to be Pandora's box recycled, the prize is a diamond power of veto, that has not been in the game for a while, and 4 of the 5 evictees who might come back have Da as one of the primary targets (Tiff, Jozea, G- all vets, and Bronte - everyone will let her know, Da led the flip the vote on her). Only Victor is going to go after the root of the problem, Paulie, If he is booted, the house will fracture, Paul will be cut off, Corey, Nic, Frank, and Bridgette become a power center, with Michelle and Zak off on an island, but gravitating to Nic, James and Nat off on an island, and Da then has the potential to rebuild a stable group, using James/Nat/herself and Victor.

James's stated strategy, ride the middle of Frank and Paulie fighting, is a good one, but I believe Da, with that strategy, would have been a better boot. It would have left a group of 3 on one side, Paulie, Paul, and Zak on the other, with he, Nat, Corey and Nic sitting in the middle. ETA: I left out Michelle, she will be sitting at the kitchen counter eating watermelon, for all the impact she has had on the game, or the show for that matter.

A lot of the next few weeks is going to depend on who comes back, and how this week shakes out.

I would love to see the Diamond Power of Veto not sure this group member would use it well but it would be interesting. Da in my opinion has been most disappointing to me she has wasted her influence by striking way too soon ,at too many and too often. It makes it appear as though she doesn't really care who is aligned with ,just that she is safe no matter what yet she has made herself ineffective as no one listens anymore.

        Ken,

I generally agree with most of what you say, but I doubt Victor and Nat could work together again, so that one doesn't make sense to me.

Hi,everyone. I thought Production was all over anyone changing their appearance. Is it OK to do that right before the show because no continuity problems? Paulie looks like an idiot, now, anyway. Along with the fact that he mimics Paulie. I don't know why you want to be visibly aligned with Paulie like that.

One thing I don't understand about the newbies, is why is Paulie tolerated as a newbie when Tiffany was vilified as Vanessa's sister? They do know Cody came in second, don't they? Not that any of the newbies in his corner seem that game smart.

Anyway, it will be fun to see what happens with the Battle of the Block and whatever else they come up with. I'm kind of sorry to see Road Kill, go, though, I know you can only do something like that as long as the numbers in the house are up, but it was a neat twist.

Cody = Sweet guy you want to hang with, who let Derrick take the win because of his loyalty and 'Friendship'

        Vanessa=PURE EVIL
Therefore, their siblings have to be the clones, and so far they seem like they might be - but not better players

Morning everyone (and hey especially to Raineyc since I haven't seen you this season). Thank goodness they're doing away with Teams and Roadkill...I'm very happy about that and also hoping it forces more BB strategizing.

I think KeninVA has a good guess...Pandora's Box (or something of that nature) could be the Secret because they've got to find something to tape each Friday for Sunday's show in upcoming weeks. Another thing to note: I did my "Annual Nono Counting of HouseGuests/Weeks Left," and they're going to need ANOTHER Battle Back later in the season OR they're going to have a Reset Button like BB16 where there is a week where no one goes home. Even with the winner of this week's Battle Back, they're still one HG short to finish the season.

I'm out of town this weekend, but will check my phone to see who comes back and who wins HoH. I agree Da is in the most trouble, but it really is going to come down to who wins HoH. I'm pulling for whoever will evict Frank.

nonobadfish, How long is this season going to be? Needing a reset week seems like the show is going to be on until Halloween (I am exaggerating), but still needing to reset or bring a juror back in as well as a pre juror makes it an 18 person cast.

I know, KeninVA ...I agree. But I'm basing that supposition on facts. After someone returns today, we'll have 12 HGs. Last year at this point we had 13 HGs (dang twins). At this point in BB16, we only had 12 HGs but they had Nicole return AND they had to have a Reset later just to have enough HGs to finish the season. The problem is that we only started with 16 HGs and they let Glenn go immediately, so this season is going to have to have another Battle Back or a reset to make up. OR they could only do one DE episode instead of two. That would work...yet we know how the love their DEs. (I am old, though...I could be totally wrong because I lost half my brain cells last week when I turned 60) 😊

They are in there 99 days which is 1 day past 14 weeks.

16-2=14 (bet Bronte and Tiff combined couldn't have computed that without taking their socks off!) Noting we didn't see week one.

So IF they do two double evicts, they will need this buy back and a freeze frame or second buy back to maintain the numbers. Or we'll have a couple weeks of Paul and whomever he talked into a bad haircut bragging about their brilliant game play. Yeah THAT would be a ratings bonanza!

Just hope this 'secret' is a good one. A Coup de tete or Diamond/Golden/Platinum POV would be nifty. We do need a prize/punishment comp. Wanna see who's willing to be abused to save themselves or who feels comfortable and takes the rewards. Funny how on Survivor that those who take the meal, end up being next to depart-talk about the last supper. It really ticks the others off. Come on unitard and chum bath!!

Of course, Detroit feels like a nice day in Hell today (and Hell is only an hour drive from Detroit, so not a big surprise). Steamy stinky brain melting humidity. Come back, Big Brother! I'm sorry for whatever I never really did and you just misconstrued me saying (me speak HouseGuest). 8 hrs, only 8 hrs, we can make!

i would love to see the Battle Back winner come in and be automatic HOH....Then it could be Tiffany, she could put Day on the block, and as Day walks out the door, she could sing the little "i beat you" song that Day sang to her in the goodbye message. that would be sweet, sweet irony.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge Tiffany fan or anything, I just think it would be totally entertaining.
