    Morning everybody.

Glad to see they finally got a clue and started playing the game. I was hoping James, Corey et al would keep Michelle just to stick it to Paulie but then I started thinking that may not work best for them. Eliminating Michelle does eliminate a Paul number and weaken him and Victor. Z really is useless except as a vote. They can isolate Paul and Victor and eliminate them to hurt Paulie. As long as someone other than Paul, Victor, or Paulie can win HoH they diminish Paulie's influence and cut him off.

Good morning sdkgeo and all to follow

This has been a fun week. Some Hamsters woke up and are planning outside of the power couple. Even Vic has shown signs of waking up but he is to much into the 'I am man' mentality to trust his instincts. Finally James and Corey started talking without Paulie. So much depends on the next HOH as to the outcome of these wakenings. I do believe James will fight hard to win the next competition but mostly likely the comp will not lean to his strengths. My question will Corey finally step up to the plate. I know he is motivated. Will Nic risk herself for the win or will she just let the boys handle it? Is Paulie unaware of these changes that he sees no need to win? Only time will tell.

so TTOTambz, I have two goodies for your basket. First James does not trust Nic but can work with her for short term goals. Second James told Nat just after the Paris room reveal, that Paulie would go out the 6th to 8th boot. He has also told Nat that in order to get a big player out you needed to know you have the votes. This week has set up those votes against Paulie.

        Morning all,

James decided to not attempt to boot Z, and hope for a favorable HOH to try to get Paul or Victor out next. Another passive plan, as an anti-Paulie vote walks out the door, leaving James, Nat or Bridgette down one more soldier. This is a low risk path, but this early, a bigger move was possible. James has agency within the game, with his two vote advantage, but does not have the guile to set up a big play, so when Paulie swings out, and wrestles Paul and Vic back onto his path, James gives up. What James should have done, was, with clearance from Nat, gone to Paulie and say, "Nat is going to vote out Z. Are you absolutely sure of the votes. You told me to cancel your vote and Paul's vote, and that is a good plan. But, if you are not sure of the votes, I will just cancel my vote, and Nat's vote. Your plan has more benefits for all of us, but you have to be sure of Nicole's vote and Bridgette's vote and Paul's vote."

Paulie would not have been able to resist the implied challenge to his house mastery, and would have insisted on the Paul/Paulie vote cancellation. Bridgette, James and Nat vote out Z. During DE, Paulie would not have targeted James, since he would not know who had actually been the other two votes to vote with Nat, Nat is at a small risk, but due to her "house face" would be passed up for a bigger threat, like Nicole, and if the HOH/Veto broke right, they might have a shot at getting Paulie out of the game in the double.

That's how I would have played it. I think James is cruising to a F5 slot right now, with the trajectory of the house.

I had hope for James after his late night talk with Natalie. But again, he does not make the right move. Of course he does not know that Paul and Vic want him gone. Paulie fails to share that information with his side.

Yes, he's commented, at least twice, that he can't cancel his own vote. He said he checked on that.

        Good morning all-

Still not watching the feeds very much. I check in here every morning. I hope everyone takes their blinders off this week. I do not like Paulie, but he is good. I watched a conversation between Paulie and Victor early this morning. He makes the person he is talking to feel like he is totally with them. He told Victor, he was ready for Zak to go, that she would not leave him alone, that she was keeping him from talking game. He acts like the reason Michelle is gone this week is her mouth. He was bashing the "8" person alliance that Paul,Victor and Paulie were not in. Victor had his doubts about Paulie, but I think he made points with Victor this morning. I wish Victor knew that it was Paulie that did not want Zak out.

He does the above with both sides of his alliance. I thought Corey and James were seeing the light. Paulie has a conversation with them and now they want Paul out. I am so afraid that Paulie is going to win this year.

It is seems like Natalie and Bridgette see that Paulie is covered by everyone in the house. In order for them to do anything about it, they have to win HOH,,can they? Would Bridgette be ok with getting Paulie out? I am glad Corey is talking to her more. I think the plan for DE is to take out Bridgette. If Paul and Victor get control, it will be James.

I have grown to respect Paulie and some of his ways even though his personality and words dont always thrill me. He works at his goals which many oftheothets don't. I can't stand Paul and his in your face ways. James I gave. Up on last year, he is too lazy for me. Nat has not charmed me either, I saw her mean streak early on and I know it's coming out soon.

One more thought before I am out for the day.

I think Bridgette would make a move if she had someone to talk game to and work with. I do not think she trust Paulie. I just watched a conversation she had with herself. Yesterday, 12:53 pm, camera 1, in the have not room. She said next week, Paulie and Zak unless he wins HOH. She talks about why Paulie would want to keep Z. She wondered why Nicole and Corey ok with that. She concludes that Paulie, Zak, Ncole and Corey have each. She talked about her, Victor , Natalie and James teaming up. She said Victor would take a swipe at them, but James was indecisive and you can not win with that. They called an outside lock down, so she did not get to finish. I wish she had someone to really talk game with and to really work with.

Of course we can't have nice things, because James would rather go with the flow and hope that he can passively slide into the finals without ever really having to upset anyone.

And here we have Paulie, with all of his "big man" talk about "slaying" and "breaking" another female in the house. Because apparently, only the women with a tendency to be emotional get the pleasure of this particular treatment from Paulie. Such a gentleman.

If Paulie does attack Michelle, what is her reaction? Does she fight back? Retreat and cry? Which Meech will we will see. Paulie thinks he will intimidate and break her...at this point, I don't know. I think she is wise to him and will fight back. And who knows what kind of fall out that could cause with the rest of the group. Z says 'no one will care' about Meech bowing up Paulie, but I don't think that's true. I think some people will take notice depending on what she has to say. This could be good!

I can understand her wanting to call Paulie out but why did she do it at the Veto meeting? I think there was still hope that the vote could have changed to Z but that just sunk her ship.

        • #9
I am thoroughly disgusted with Paulie. His antics yesterday were the last straw. His plan to blow up on Michelle is just mean and evil spirited. Why does he think he needs to (and think it's okay) to verbally assault her? I hope Meech gives it right back to him. Of course, CBS will probably give us fish or Jeff loops during this confrontation just like they did with Tiff. I think that Meech should just bow and say ''Your Majesty'' every time she sees him - a little boost to P's already over-inflated ego and a silent message to all the other hg's.

I'm also very disappointed in James. He has the numbers and the CP to cancel out votes. He has an opportunity to make a big move in his favor but has backed down and will do what the King ordains. Just another boring week in the house as they all do what Paulie wants them to do. Yes, we may see some drama but we won't see any big move, any change in the way Paulie is controlling everyone. I've got one toe on that Jame's train but I'm about to jump off because he is playing like a coward.

Totally agree about Paulie. It's not lost on me that the two tagets of his intimidation tactics are women who have already shown themselves to react emotionally. Real hero, "breaking" them. The jerk.

        • #10
Don't jump off the James train just yet, kokomogirl. I think the decision to use the elimination vote to boot Meech is one to benefit James, Corey, and Nic. Paulie just got a side benefit. The use of the vote went back and forth many times. The final decision was made not with Paulie but with Corey and Nic. Meech is an unknown volatile player who has named everyone but Paul and Z as a potential boot. She will go to the person who gives her the most attention.. Right now Paul is that person and tells her exactly what she wants to hear. While she is a potential vote against Paulie, she is also a potential vote for whoever Paul tells her. Z is no harm to anyone and serves as a distraction to and irritant for Paulie. She is a vote to protect Paulie but by the time he needs it she could well be in jury.

James, Corey and Nic need to weaken Paul by getting rid of potential protection votes. The plan is to go after Paul or Victor. They have the votes for this with the benefit of exposing Paulie even more. Ideally this plan happens in the upcoming DE.

I am am not a fan of Paulie's for the very reasons you stated. However he has played the game to his advantage. I asked the question in yesterday's discussion; where is that young man who talked to Frank about his treatment of the women in the house? I miss that person.

I am not getting off the James train. He is trying to protect both himself and Natalie---not easy. Nat has been mentioned many times as a boot. I am really hoping for a James, Nat, Bridgette F-3 with any of them for the win. In fact, possibly the girls could be F-2. Oh, how I would love that!

Not holding my breath, but if they could get out P or P during the double elimination, it would be so sweet. Then perhaps Vic could be persuaded by Nat & Bridgette to target Nicole instead of James.

Oh the nasty dealings in the house this year ... Wow. Z changing her pad in front of everyone, Paulie peeing in the hot tub, Vic peeing on the girls razors, all eating chips by putting your entire hand in your mouth and back into the bag, eating directly out of the peanut butter or ice-cream and putting the lid back on, and on and on and on. Remember past years we were shocked when someone didn't wash their hands after their potty time .. now that's tame.

And yet again it comes down to James having NO nads!! He has a 2 vote canceling advantage to change this game up AND STILL he does nothing!! Can't wait till he is booted from the house. He is NO better than Z. I would NOT want him ever in my troop of soldiers during an actual war situation. He would just get all of us shot.

Think about it James, WHY would a woman like Natalie Ever Want such a weak lazy ass like you outside of this house. A plastic Barbie doll has more balls than you!!

Wake up Natalie!! Get Vic's attention again, team up with him and BOOT James from the house.

I just can't with Janes any more. Soooo over his weak ass!!

I disagree. To me his game is significantly different from Z. For one thing, more of his relationships are real. His game relationships and his romantic relationship. He and Natalie talk game, and are vigilant about not throwing away their game on their relationship. While Z has thrown away her game on a relationship which is all in her head.

He isn't lightning fast -- has made some big mistakes when on the spot -- but he has good sense in general and a better than average chance of winning comps.

He isn't in 100% control of his fate but he's not being purely passive. He has a lot of control over what is happening. Plants some good seeds here and there.

Making a big move could blow up his game. He's in a position where he can make moves or not. And at such a time, not moving is a move. And is his choice. A choice which can take him deep.

Z is just there. She has put herself completely at the mercy of others. For a fake relationship with someone who is using her and abusing her.

I think judging how he would be in an actual war situation based on actions in BB would be a little silly. James is empathetic, sturdy and understands working on a real team (which is not BB). Just to be fair about it.

        • #15
All Natalie has to do is get James to cancel P/P's votes and get Bridgette and James to vote Z and she is gone. It's not a "BIG" move since Paulie has said repeatedly he is ok with her leaving. (If she was smart she would tell Corey which way the wind is blowing so that Nicorey could make it a full sweep instead of 3-2 vote.)
What if Michelle has the RT ticket and came back in, wouldn't she go for a soft target like James over Paulie to get out if she won HOH?
