I do not have enough time to catch up with the throw down that happened overnight. Darn it, why can't these people do this during the day. All indications seem to be that the blindside of Paulie (Oh, and Z) is still on. Paul is pissed that Paulie brought him in the fight and that Paulie is throwing Paul and Vic under the bus.

Z is just so pitiful. No self respect. I get on the feeds this morning to see her curled up on Paulie's lap up in the HoH after all she was told.

BTW, saw on twitter, the reason Paulie hates Jersey girls is because it was a Jersey girl that turned down his proposal. He conveniently left out that it was because he cheated on her with 5 other women. He will be getting the ring back after the show.

Does it surprise anyone that he's a cheater? Didn't think so!

Good Morning Geo and all who follow:

To your point Geo I read the girl already returned the ring.

Anyway I'm exhausted but was too captivated to put my exhausted head down as I was desperate to stay up and watch BBAD & catch the updates. As I was simmering thinking (from just reading updates) James was flipping back and debating in my head, no there's no way James would get Nat to blow up her game to do that ........ I got my answer swiftly via the man of the hour himself............

I'm of course speaking of the man from New Jersey who just hung himself: Paulie Califore.

He waited for James to go into the DR & then went at Nat, she said good night & Paulie said "you are as fake as those things on your chest" Nat was cool and just said "it really doesn't matter what you think of me"

When James found out he was pissed. When he asked Nicole she couldn't stop laughing until James said "it's not funny" then she stopped.

James told the girls he was voting Zak out, but this action by Paulie just verified it.

I can't do this justice b/c I'm exhausted but Paulie demanded an apology from Natalie and verbally attacked her and also went off on Bridgette. Just for good measure he threw Victor UTB re: the Goodbye Message, Paul UTB for grabbing her thighs? (I'm still not sure this ever happened or if it was just one of Paul's lies). He verbally attacked Nat who stood her ground and when Bridgette tried to stand up for her he went off on her to. Eventually James & Nat left the room to Paulie and Corey clapping as she left.

Suffice to say Paulie self imploded (and continues to do so as I write this) as did his game.

People tried to be rational with him and he just got more derogatory and as each person would call him out on lies he would get madder and attack more. Bridgette said you are going to try and stand there and deny the plan wasn't to take out Zakiyah at the start of the week, to which Paulie deflected then began a rant on Bridgette. (by the way Zakiyah was in the room). This was followed by Corey & Paulie going off on Natalie again in another Jersey girl rant.

I get that Corey is all in with his boys but he really should have stopped while he was ahead. They both look like dicks now. And Nicole laughing her butt off until James said it wasn't funny wasn't a good look either. When James asked what sparked it Nicole said I think it was the tone of her good night!

All 3 dug themselves a hole tonight and even Zakiyah is not impressed with what happened (just not enough to stop cuddling). I do feel for her as I believe she doesn't think she has anyone else. The sad part is (and maybe I'm giving her too much credit) I do think if she stayed tomorrow she would be off the Paulie train. But, without a round trip ticket she won't get the chance to prove it.

Paulie over played, he got caught and Corey is too dense to see it's true.

HELLO McFLY.. the reason Paulie is losing his grip right now is because he's been caught. We don't get BBAD in Canada until 3AM so I didn't get to see the James/Corey/Paulie convo until then. I didn't see the entire conversation but I now fully believe James was testing them. He wanted Corey on his side and Corey gave all kinds of excuses for Paulie. When James told Corey the 4-some of Vic, Paul, Bridg and Pie discussion occurred with them all in HOH Corey said no way that would ever happen that Bridge/Paul are lying. Then when Paulie was talking to them he brings up the 4 of them in the room talking.

Paulie tried to play the I'm getting information and constantly warning you, when in reality Corey & James learned many new things they had never been told about prior.

Paulie dug his own grave, almost got himself out of it and then took a bulldozer to dig a hole six feet under. I can't imagine TPTB will want him in the house after last night because this was abusive and uncalled for.

Nicole trying to deflect said this is a really catty season (pot meet kettle) and she was playing without emotions. After hearing what Paulie was doing, saying and how he was attacking all the females finally has a light bulb moment recognizing her actions are going to HURT HER GAME .. and feebly says in my season I stood up for someone and left the next week.

Okay miss unemotional let's see how you fair moving forward. Her lying in that bed enjoying Paulie being so rude to Nat has been part of the instigation of this season. She's the one that got Zak more centered on the boyfriend talk only to sell her out.

At the end of the day this is a game and personal attacks are not warranted and a man of Paulie's stature should never be attacking someone in a non game related way. Which is exactly what James kept trying to say and asking for them not to lower it to personal attacks, but unfortunately Paulie was too far gone. It was almost like he was drunk. I feel for the guy he'd been the only one (or almost) playing the first 50 days and if he could have used some subtlety last night he'd probably have excited unscathed. But after his display early this morning there is no turning back.

He'll likely be asked repeatedly about his conduct in the media and attacking Nat won't help his cause since there is no way to spin this with a good reason for what he did. Much like Aaryn Griese (sp?) had to deal with saying "it's like that where I'm from" I'm sure Paulie's comments about Jersey Girls will not play well. Not to mention his own personal life has called Jersey Boys into question. His brother spent 2 summers ago flirting with all the ladies including a married woman, but it was innocent and he never attacked anyone. I'm afraid Paulie won't get off so easily.

Whether he is in the house next week or not when the CP for Bridgette floats into the backyard Sat (assuming she is still there) the house will know what the majority of BB TV viewers think.

And for the record, Derrick took the high road saying he has 2 daughters and doesn't condone the behavior and people can address "him" when he gets out. (doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement). But he also said Paulie was using Derrick's name to try to pull James back in recognizing he had lost trust. Ya think?

In closing, remember I said the whole Nat thing would serve to keep Pie's mind elsewhere? Just an hour ago Zak said she was worried and Pie responded: Why? it'll be a unanimous vote for her to leave. And that no one will cross him after all this chit.

Ummm I don't think so................. Zakiyah is leaving, there will be a DE and a very heated house.

Hoping for drama, but let's lose the personal attacks hamsters.

Morning geo, and all who follow,

The house has started it's reconfiguration. Hoped for almost beyond hope, Natalie has gained a measure of agency within the game, by finally getting James to see he is on a path to a 6 or 5th place finish, and that the first step to mounting a rebellion is to not shoot potential rebels on your side, to keep the kings pawn's in. Mad gaming all very early morning yesterday, resulted in Nat, Bridg, James, Michelle, Paul and Victor lined up in a stealth plan to boot Z, pin the 3rd vote (James) on Nicole, and hope to gut Paulie in the DE they expect to happen. Paul and Vic are happy to be out of the fight, Bridgette has a plan to implicate Nicole, by causing drama with Z and getting Nicole in the room alone with the girls. This would make it plausible to cast suspicion on Nicole over the vote out, and Bridgette would tell the Paulie, in front of the house, when Nicole tried to defend herself, that she had a discussion with her to vote Z out.

Paul and Vic had a discussion, with the plan to go all in with James and the girls, get Paulie and Corey out, and then take out girls/James. When the house is down to Paul/Vic with just girls, they go back to back to finish the job. I am never a big fan of winning to the end, since it never actually works. Even Ian, who had a remarkable run in BB14 (a record setting string of HOH/POV wins from F9 to F5) stumbled at the F4, and needed Dan's guile and control of Dannielle to save him.

In the event, Nat started to put in place the Bridgette plan, read Z in to what Paulie has been saying about her. Z takes the first few blows, has a mini breakdown, and then runs to Paulie. This was not well set up, as the supporting players in this little psychodrama, Bridgette and Nicole, were not close to the action. Nicole was aware things were going to happen, but Bridgette and Michelle were not in a supporting role to keep her within earshot of the Safari room to draw her into the "comforting" Z part of the plan. Z went to Paulie, Paulie really lost his emotional composure, and the house melted down. Paulie called Nat names, Nat defended herself, got called more vile names, and left for the DR. Bridgette stepped in, Paulie dragged Paul and Corey and James into the fight, and by the end Paulie is targeting Nat/Bridgette and Paul. Paul is mad at Paulie, and James appeared wavering. I believe he is going to pull the trigger on the plan, but all the stealth approach is gone.

I expect that tonight Z will go home, there will be a fight to the death over the DE HoH, and Paulie will know he is fighting for his game life. The house will reconfigure as Paul/Victor as a solid duo, Corey/Nicole as a solid duo, with James trying to float between Corey, and Nat/Bridgette. Michelle will be a Ronin, floating between power centers, and likely having new life until the late mid game, where if she can win, she just might squeak into the end. If Paulie is still in the house, he becomes the new Frank, fighting for his life every week, taking out one person at a time, unless Nicole or Corey gain power.

The house is not done reconfiguring, in my opinon, and won't actually settle into a new equilibrium until the DE and return ticket results are settled, and the last HOH of Thursday night is crowned. With that power decided, we will see how the factions coalesce, and where the next steps drive the game. But, the game is on, and the ennui and indolence of most of this cast, appears to have been broken with the storm that blew through the house last night.

If anyone thinks this whole thing that Nat and Michelle did was a good game move, I am totally lost. This was a horrible game move to cause this much drama. They could have voted out Zak quietly, and caused waves, but had way less heat with a double eviction looming. If Nicole, Corey, or Paulie win HOH after Zak is evicted this only puts my boy James game in jeopardy, and he was sitting very nice on both sides. So for me, this isn't a win, this was a very dumb game move on Natalie's part, and it hurt James game.

All this to save Michelle who talked about both Nat and Bridgette badly at one point, even down to Natalie fake breast. Smh.

I love to debate, so if anyone wants to tell me how the "blowing up" of Paulies game in this open fashion was smart, I'm willing to be swayed.

Also, let's remember Natalie went from saying Victor made her feel uncomfortable to now Paulie.

James did not want this to go down this way I'm sure, (The open blow-up, Nat going to Zak.. Etc.) but now because of Natalie he is thrown into this awkward position. Again, my opinion is this was a horrible game move.
Paulie is very capable of winning the next HOH, and why put this much heat on yourself? If they voted out Zak silently they maybe would have been able to have Paulie confused before that double eviction so he doesn't have immediate angst and go after one of them or James who is now lying to them and saying he is voting to keep Zak. If James goes in the DE because of this stuff, I will be so upset.

IMO there is no way they will be able to successfully pin a vote on Nicole.
The sole person who benefited from this drama is Michelle. She had nothing to lose she was almost out the door, so I am not surprised by her behavior. Michelle blew up all of their games with her rant and if I was them, she'd still be hitting that pavement come tonight.

Rainey, I never liked this plan for so many reasons. Though I know we might differ on our reads of different hamsters I also agree the entire event was unnecessary.

In the end, I feel the worst for Zakiyah. While I haven't been a fan of that showmance in particular, I can't imagine how isolated she felt. I read one of your posts yesterday which hit home in that Zakiyah is getting vilified for her actions equally to Paulie who is the main one rendering the abuse.

Following last evening's talk it was clear she was reeling wishing she had trusted her instincts. And in that moment she felt abandoned. I mean who exactly was she supposed to turn to? Michelle who she is on the block with? Nicole, who I feel precipitated most of Zakiyah's troubles. Day after day she would bait Zak into 'relationship' stories and try to draw out her insecurities only to either condescend with Corey about later or to throw her UTB with Paulie.

And for as much as I wanted Zak to toss Pie's sorry ass to the curb it is Nicole who I think I'm more deeply offended by. As the returning vet and having felt betrayal at the hands of Christine in BB16 I'm perturbed by her overt contributions to Zak's demise and lack of empathy. She ran to Zakiyah post talk with false pretenses of comfort, once again trying to draw out details that might effect her personally. Perhaps it's my desire for women to showcase a bond we so often see males display.

Inevitably and ironically she was drawn back to Natalie, the one person she knows 'her allies' despise. In fact, it was Zakiyah who seemed the most genuinely upset by Pie's actions last night towards Nat and the other women.

And on top of everything Zakiyah is going to be blindsided, which is yet another slap in her face. I pray she doesn't have a return ticket because the person I believe truly cares the most genuinely for her awaits in jury. Anyway, this was more off topic than on, but I wanted to highlight the great points you brought up yesterday.

I do think that Nat, Bridgett, and Michelle thought that if Z was told how inappropriate Paulie was with Nat that Z would walk away from him. In effect, save herself. They didn't see the total wipeout dressing down that Paulie gave Z. I don't believe they realize how bad Z's self esteem is.

BBhead I agree with you 100%.

I don't see how this puts James in a better place. Brit is going to get James for Frank eventually. She, to this day will not say she trust him 100%. The only person James is not on the bottom list with on the other side is Natalie, but I even say she will choose Bridge over him. She has told Bridge she is done with James if he goes against her (Bridge) again. Paul has told Paulie James is on his boot list, and Bridgette has said he is on hers too. He will now be on Paulie's, Corey, and Nicole's as this blows up their game too.

Good morning all- Well it looks like I need to watch a lot of flash backs.

The house has exploded . It sounds like Paulie, Corey and Nicole are on an island. The island may or may not sink. All three can win comps. I think Corey can win, he has just been nervous or not really trying. Paul and Victor will float around. If the Paulie island wins comps, Paul and Victor will walk over. They have not burned their bridge to the island.

If James, Bridgette, Michelle, Natalie win the next couple of comps, Paul and Victor will join them. I do not know what Paul and Victor will do if they win the first two comps. It will show their hands, so they may not try to win.

The twists may actually affect the game. We have three more Care Packages. The three left are good advantages. James and Natalie are out of the running for these. If Bridgette gets the next one, that means the best twist go to the strongest players, not necessary the most popular. The early voting screwed James and Natalie. The other twist is the round trip ticket. I think we have two more evictions, Zak could come back- not a big game changer. If the person going out on DE gets the return ticket, it would make a big difference.

The last two days have not been boring in the Big Brother house.

See for me, to tell her this then vote her out isn't compassion. She could have told her this at the wrap party if she was going to vote her out. The only way I see this approach is as a game play benefit for Natalie. Unnecessary at that since she is voting Z out. So it just feels cruel to me. Z was being played and Nat used her emotions as a cause to save Michelle and bring down Paulie.

Do you really think that Paulie was making Natalie feel uncomfortable as she is stating??

I have to agree Raineyc . Regardless of Natalie's motives, to completely pull the rug out from under Z's feet like that was unnecessarily mean and humiliating, and in my mind, pretty thoughtless and inconsiderate. To me, it came across as, "You're evicted, and oh, by the way, on your way out, let me make sure you know we all think you are an idiot, too."

I'm catching up on all the reading from last night. I see there is a lot of it. I just gotta answer this now.

I'm NOT on the Paulie train, but what I do want to know is why the dislike for Z on here? What has she done? Did I miss something? I like her, and I don't understand why she is being received like this because she got played by Paulie. I feel if it was someone else it would garner sympathy toward them. I'm confused. Why is it absolutely none for her? What has she done? I don't have the feeds this year so maybe I did miss something.
I have much sympathy for Zak. That's why I'm glad that Natalie told her the truth last night about Paulie. It's probably too late for it to benefit her in the short run. But in the long run, that will help her process things so she's not quite so blindsided by what she learns when she gets out.

She is going to have a LOT to process on the other side.

Added note Raineyc , I was p.o.-ed at all of Nicole, Bridgette and Zak for giving their games to guys. They were the ones who made it look like we weren't gonna get a girl power year. Especially p.o.-ed at Nicole and Bridgette though. Nicole knew better as a veteran. Bridgette had just gotten done laughing at the girls who give their games to guys and then she crawled up inside Frank. I wasn't even so upset with Zak on that count because she was getting played by Nic so bad ... just upset that it was Paulie that she was helping get to the end.

Nic really is the one I would have blamed for wrecking the season.

But now we have our girl power back and Bridgette has redeemed herself, and now I just feel heart heavy for Zak for the bad game position and heartbroken confusion she is in now.

But what has Z done to help further Paulies game? She hasn't won, and she wasn't in on voting out Day which was bad for her game. I don't see how she helped give Paulie the game.

I don't understand your question. She has done nothing to advance her own game. She has let Nic turn her against people she could have partnered with, and Nic was doing this to advance Paulie's game. She has made herself a rubberstamp for whatever Paulie wanted. He could pawn her. He could abuse her. And he could count on her to say, ''Yes, I understand'' just before he marched her out the door -- if that was the way he decided to go this week.

She handed her game to Paulie. Paulie overplayed and blew his own game up. Part of his overplaying included what he did to Zak. So Zak didn't _save_ Paulie's game. But she gave hers to him to do as he pleased. So she was playing for him, not herself.

OhThisHouse - I agree. I was furious at first with James, and then later, the more I thought about it, the more I realized what he did just kept a target off him, kept Paulie feeling like this was just catty girl drama and no big deal, and put the heat from Pie onto Paul going forward, with the choice piece of info he shared with Pie/Corey. I also think it kept him above the fray with Corey - who he likes and wants to preserve, in hopes of a Nicole boot in the future.

If he was just giving them what they wanted to hear, and trying to swat some flames away from him, then he did an excellent job. The fact that Pie was confident enough to go after Nat after that talk only shows that James convinced Paulie the house hadn't actually shifted.

Yep. Many of us feel James didn't want that situation to move as quickly as it did 2 nights ago which led to the girls bringing in Paul when James preference would obviously have been Corey.

To that end, did you notice how upset James was about Nicole laughing and how he brought it up last night, but nary a word (at least not to my knowledge) of Corey jumping in on the verbal Nat bashing or clapping at her exit?

I feel sad that Z's leaving just as she is waking up to what is happening, and so far from where I'm catching up with my reading, she doesn't yet know she's leaving. She's holding on to the side of the house who just outed Paulie to her, and they can't keep her even though I think there was honor in them telling her about Paulie.

This is the worst part of BB ... where the houseguests have to walk that line between being compassionate and telling the person behind the 8-ball that they're going out versus keeping some of their cards close to their chest for their own self-protection.

I'll maintain I didn't like them telling her that on the eve of her eviction. It was insensitive. I also didn't like Paulie chose last night to do what he said he never would on TV just as he felt his grasp of the house slipping away.

I prefer blindsides to be saved for players like Paulie or when it needs to be done in a stealth manner. Yet Zakiyah is the victim of an action meant to hurt Paulie. I wonder if after a week or two of decompressing whether she would welcome Paulie in jury or tell him, sorry but I can do better than a 'Jersey Boy' like you!

When should they have told her?

Watching some of the flash backs. How can Corey not see what a jerk Paulie is? He knows some of the things he has said about Z. Is Corey that blind to Paulie or is he just playing along?

Watching Paulie all I can say is , WOW.... He really thinks he is all that..

Yes, Corey is blind because Paulie is carrying him through the game. Heaven forbid, Corey would have to play the game on his own.

Because Corey is a jerk too. He seems to idolize Paulie. When he gets out he is going to feel even more stupid than he already is.

I agree worksheets. Just his appearance says that to me. He doesn't even have to open his mouth. I miss all the good stuff. I caught some of the convoy between pie, Corey and James and was thinking that James had better not be with pie. I glad to read that he isn't.

Pre-Season football is taking away my BB tonight. Will a link be posted for live streaming?
