Good morning sdkgeo and everyone...and happy eviction day.

I'm gearing up for a Paulie Return Ticket. I sure don't want him to have it (he's worn out his welcome), but it's the last week of that twist and I'm simply not going to be shocked if he does. It seemed to me that he started acting like he believes he has it...I hope the DR didn't give him a hint.

After Corey's edit on the show last night, I think it's possible that he may win tomorrow's ACP. Ugh. But that's the bad news. The good news is that we've got a chance for Nicole to be on the block tomorrow as long as she doesn't win HoH (and as long as Paulie/Corey don't end up with both HoH and ACP).

So here's hoping for a James/Natalie/Paul/Meech HoH victory tonight OR a Paul/Meech/Victor ACP tomorrow! I'd even take a Corey HoH tonight because that means that the ACP would have to go to Victor/Paul or Meech, right? There's no way Paulie could win ACP if he returns, is there? Oh, heck...another thing to worry about.

Funny year, though. I always have a favorite and this year don't really care who wins.

Hi Border! ~ I agree...BB gave Paulie a pretty good sympathetic edit last night and I am suspicious of a RT for sure now on tonight's Live show. But, hey, we'll see!

Good morning sdkgeo , nonobadfish , Border57 , and all who pass through. I've been pretty sure for awhile that they won't let this RT thing just fade away...so Paulie has to be the winner here. On the one hand, I want to be wrong because I hate when TPTB manipulates the game; but on the other hand, I think Paulie coming right back in will only give us more drama, and this mama loves that!

I thought for sure TPTB could direct who has what ticket, but in reality that only know who does have it, and are working around that person. Paulie's edit is so out of whack with reality it just seems like they are setting it up for him to have it . I don't want to see him back because I AM SICK OF HIM, and everything being ABOUT HIM, ALL THE TIME, and the arrogance and bossing every one around will start up again.

If he gets back in, he probably won't stay too long, but he's going to upset the balance between the three pairs and Michelle, and I'd like to see that naturally play out. My feeling is Michelle defects to Paul and Vic, and then Paul and Vic run a sweep getting everyone out. If either Paul or Paulie stay in, they will win it. And I'd really like to see the girls get a crack at the win this year, instead of being hauled in for a goat. Michelle won't recognize she's a goat and is my least favorite to win from the girls. I wouldn't mind if Nicole or Nat got into the finish. Nicole and Nat both have game smarts.

If Paulie goes out to Jury, it will be a clean slate for a few weeks and it would be interesting to see how things settle.

I've been lurking here since the season started, first post this season. I so appreciate everyone's thoughts and input, it helps me to see things clearly.

I'm a Paul fan-but it took a while for me to get there. Yep he's loud, yes he lies, distorts, and deflects and I think that's what makes him a pretty good BB player. He's also pretty smart and brings personality to a pretty boring habitat. I don't blame him for playing the game, that's what they are there for.

Love Victor, maybe more than Paul. Glad that he had the cojones to shake things up.

I am looking forward to seeing Pie hit the door, but I think that others are correct in saying that he will like be coming right back in. The edit he got last night almost made me feel sorry for him, and if I didn't read here and know what he was really all about, I would have. I think TPTB are setting it up for the home viewers and the drama. Guess it will be interesting....if he comes back does he have to keep making pies?

Thank you everyone for keeping this season interesting...it's usually more fun to read here than actually watch the show!

I was super disappointed in the fact they didn't show the real Paulie...The Paulie that refused to make pies… The Paulie that said he's wasn't going to jury.. And they didn't show how much he was skeeming the entire week… That was a total let down for me. It's amazing how CBs for protects thier golden boys..but more surprisingly… Why would Paulie be portrait as the good guy?? He's not the worst BB player there ever was but arguably in the top five IMO.

Making deals and lying Is game play. Getting caught is sloppy. But the self-righteous pile on by the others only shows they don't understand that their time in the glare of the klieg light will come too. Hopefully, you will learn from this experience, and will really become the honorable man you really want to be.

So, assuming that Paulie DOES have the RT ticket tonight and comes right back in, and managed to get HOH. Who do we think he will nominate/align with? I believe he would nominate Victor and Paul, telling James/Nat that he wants to work with them, while trying to pit NiCorey against them. (Which might be difficult considering I think Nic honestly wants the two showmances to be final 4.

His first instinct was to attack James, but he realizes that Paul and Vic are the bigger targets in the game.

I kept hearing Michael say, "You broke my heart, Fredo, you broke my heart" when Paulie talked of James. Would he like him to leave first, probably, but gamewise not the best choice.

BBHead- That is something I hadn't considered. Targeting Paul and convincing Vic to work with him (they each evicted the other once, so bygones) since they will both be huge targets. It would be a smart play, considering his options are so limited.

He is only going to get to nominate one person. The co hoh gets to nominate the other person. If Michelle or Vic get the Co-HoH package, then Corey or Nic are going on the block, probably Corey. And Vic won't be available if he wins the Co-HoH slot.

My thought on if the week ends in a tie vote, both HG's get eliminated. That would be a twist.

On a side note, does anyone know how long Nicole and Hayden had been broken up before the season started? Or if she has talked about dating anyone after him? Sometimes I wonder if she might be fresh off a heartbreak, from a relationship that made her super insecure. She CONSTANTLY asks Corey of he is mad at her, and considering that Corey doesn't get mad very easily, because he is very surface a lot of the time, it's a strange thing to ask. I don't remember her being so insecure before, but I know that a bad relationship/breakup can totally throw you that way.

I think she IS more insecure this time because Corey is less demonstrative and talkative than Hayden so she has to work harder to get the constant stream of input to feel comfortable. IMHO.

Good morning all- I was out of pocket the last couple of days. I do not think I missed any major game moves. It seems like the house guest had a little fun last night. I am glad.

My sister does not watch feeds nor does she read any updates. She called me this morning talking about how she felt sorry for Paulie and how Victor acted. I tried to tell her that was not really what happened. I tried to explain how they edit the shows, but she was not buying it. The ones that do not watch the feeds just do not have a clue.

I hope Paulie does not have the RT. With the edit he got last night, I look for him to go right back in. If he goes back in, he will really try for the HOH. I am not sure who he will gun for. I hope he burned the bridge with Corey/Nicole.

I am really confused with he game Nicole is playing this year. Does she not care that the guys had a F5? Did she think they all would take her to the end? Does she think if she gets to the F4, she can win her way to the final? I am so confused.

She's playing the role of Britney of trying to be the last girl. The reveal in the kitchen when they said they had a guys alliance after the noms didn't phase her one bit. I'm assuming she is using the benefit of Corey to shield her (the big athletic guy will always go before her giving her a safety net). Basically there's always a bigger target.

Nicole did tell Nat/Meech that the boys had said they had an all guy alliance in front of her. Wonder if she thought Nat/Meech would jump up and say why don't the three of us work together. Nothing was said I don't believe.

Nicole knew about at least some of the male alliances.

But as with Frank she assumes that her alliances with the guys are the real ones and the guys are just leading the other folks on. Not unreasonable. She knows how much fun people were making of Victor for example, so she has no reason to think that an alliance made with him is real and that hers are fake.

I am curious as to whether she had any sort of end game or was just trying to stay alive by hiding behind big targets -- and creating big targets by stabbing out the ladies she was supposed to be aligned with. (If only you could hear how much noise my keyboard makes when I am typing about Nicole's snakiness toward the women she was supposed to be aligned with. It makes me quite angry to think of how she has sold out the women while building up her male harem. I think I just gave myself a headache from typing so tensely.)

I realize that I'm caring too much about Nicole. Giving her too much credit by suggesting that maybe she does have a plan other than cuddling up with boys.

I realize she's a nurse, which takes some intelligence, but she really doesn't seem very smart.

She hasn't shown any inclination or capacity for remembering the things she'll need to win comps at the end. What kind of veteran comes back into the game and gets straight into a showmance and doesn't try to remember the facts and figures that she knows will be in the final rounds?

I need to just write her off. There is no game there. Just ingrained manipulation of men.


On a serious note, I'm trying to put myself in her shoes and imagine what it must have been like to try to navigate the adult world looking like such a cute little girl. I'm trying to have some empathy for her. But as a Big Brother player, she sucks bigtime. All she has been good for is screwing up the game of people who made the mistake of trusting her to play with the intelligence and wisdom of a veteran.

I feel like she played a better game last time, or she was more interested in playing the game. This time her sole purpose seems to be staying with Corey. She wants to stay safe so she can stay with him. If he gets evicted, I believe she'll just want to join him. She doesn't seem to care about playing Big Brother at all. On the TV BB, when the 5 boys started talking, she just left the room. She should have wanted to stay to hear what they were saying. That knowledge could have helped her game. I think she didn't want to hear how all the boys were together and wanted to get rid of the girls. She didn't want to know. I liked Nicole a lot last time and liked her coming in but it's sad to see her waste an opportunity again.

Funny thing, as much as Bridgette's giggling got on my nerve, when she put on her nurse face I could see her as a competent person and she was always there playing nurse to other HGs. If I saw Nicole coming into my hospital room with that top knot, I'd pull out my tubes and run.
