    My thoughts this morning...

    VERY happy Natalie won HOH.

I'm worried about the message the CP will send. No matter who wins it.

Corey stained the bathroom floor when he sat down on it to pick off whatever the glop was that was part of the comp.

I don't like Natalie & James teaming up with Corey & Nicole. I simply want 4 decent players at the end; Corey & Nicole are not in my vision! Sigh.

Can we get Michelle to stop eating those sunflower seeds. Not pleasant to watch.

    Rachel is a poopy head.

Off to get some sleep before I need to be functioning in a few hours for work! Fortunately, Jeff loops are back again so it makes it easier to turn it off. (Feeds will likely be back as soon as I post this or turn them off, LOL!)

      Good night and good morning!!

        Morning all,

And a happy morning it is for Colleen and I who celebrated early this morning when we discovered Natalie had won HOH. This SHOULD keep James safe. Everything else is unknown.

        What we know about HOH:
        From what I could decipher:
        • there were rounds where you had to buzz in
        • Meech won the advantage but went out early (either first of 2nd)
        • EDITED TO ADD: apparently they had to find numbers in a honey like substance. I think they had a board of numbers and either had to find a specific number or keep going finding new numbers each round
        • there was gooey gunk (as per Colleen's post above and again edited to add it was honey like in texture)
        • it sounds like they couldn't see each other (perhaps working in the dark like the Donny POV win??) or they were in assigned lanes, so there was no way to throw the POV

        New target in the house?

As per the norm when a player is evicted the hamsters look for a new person to gang up on and Paul may have played into their plans. NiCorey & Jamalie downloaded stories yesterday which led to Paul's back dealings.
        • Nat learned Paul was the one who came up with FT (not sure if that is true)
        • Nat also learned Paul was the one who was more active in calling her fake & talking behind her back (that's true)
        • NiCorey shared that Pie told them Paul said James was after them (again, not sure if that's true or planted intel from Pie... the truth is likely more in the middle as prior to Pie becoming the target that was what P&P discussed)
        • Victor went at Nicole over "the date" lie forcing her to admit he never asked her out & further that she said he was malicious. While Nicole is trying to say it was so long ago it doesn't matter (and saying that's NOT what she said) Vic is pissed b/c he insists that put a target on him and he had to deal with the repercussions. Nicole has figured out Paul was the one who planted/reminded this intel to Vic.
        • Paulie also went to Meech trying to get her to work with NiCorey to take out Vic/Paul

        ACP could change noms:
With the uncertainty of who will win ACP it makes noms equally uncertain. Natalie is upset that Paul lied to her and was integral in the hate directed at her. She believes that Paul was the one saying NiCorey should target James. Further when Paul tried to implicate James as the one who told of the misfits plans Natalie called BS saying he wouldn't do that and she told Pie she was the one (with Bridgette) who orchestrated the shift in the house and also told Pie how James defended him. In essence Nat protected James, but also caught Paul in some lies in doing so. She saw through the fact Paul was ... you got it playing the same game as Frank/Paulie.

The nomination scenarios will be vastly different depending on this ACP. If Corey wins expect him to nominate one of Paul or Victor. Who then does Nat put up? If it's Corey logically you might expect her to nominate the match to the pair - ie. Vic/Paul. though she may put Meech if Jamalie want to work with Vic. BUT... if it's Meech then the noms could be vastly different. Apparently Meech overheard Nicole telling James he should nominate Meech/Paul. She told this to Paul/Vic.

Now Paul also went to James/Nat questioning how much they can trust Meech - so expect this intel to be downloaded today in the event Meech wins ACP. Given how much bad blood currently exists between Meech/Nicole there is a solid chance she would nominate Nicole. So, much depends on the conversation that occurs between Meech/Nat. Will they determine Paul is saying the same thing to both of them? If they do we could find Vic/Paul going up on the block and the 5 shifting alliances again.

If however Paul/Vic are successful at getting Meech on their side she could use the nom to put up James. The saving grace for Jamalie is that Nat was the key cog who made it possible for Meech to stay in the house. Hopefully that will keep him safe.

Also expect Jamalie to talk to Victor today as they planned yesterday to get to the bottom of what Paul is doing. And also expect Nicole to call out Paul re: making fun of Victor behind his back which she intends to do. Funny for someone who is so dangerous Victor might be the safest in the house given James/Nat, Meech & Paul all want to work with him. Corey currently is the only one who wants him out desperately while Nicole seems to be centered on ousting Paul over Vic.

        Edited to add:
Nat refuses to nominate a girl as she made a promise not to until F4 at the earliest though she will vote for a guy at the end if she feels he played a better game. Based on the conversations occurring very early this morning primarily with Corey he is promising Nat/James safety to F4. As Rainey highlighted this is a better situation for Jamalie as NiCorey would be easier to beat.

Nat still doesn't seem comfortable with putting up the ducks together but James has her leaning that direction though she said she would wait until after ACP arrived to make a final decision. AND she still wants to talk to Vic to explain he's not her target & to download the shenanigans Paul has been up to.

In reality ACP (at least IMO) helps Natalie either way. If Meech wins she'll talk to Nat and will either put up Paul when she learns of his side dealings OR she'll put up Corey. Nat will be able to put up Paul using her no girls up til F4 and can talk to Vic & explain why Paul is up. On the other hand if Corey wins HOH she can get him to nom Victor while she puts up Paul and again can tell Victor they will make sure he is safe but to try to win POV.

James has already told her if they have the shot at Vic they have to take it. So to whoever said how funny it would be if Vic gets evicted and returns yet again in jury comp kudo's to your foresight.

At some point today Nat will have a conversation with Nic to get "actual dirt" on Paul. Will download/share with Meech (more so if she wins ACP) & will have a heart to heart with Victor which will likely include James in that discussion.

        Adora Borealis:
Not exactly a name that rolls off the tongue. The Brenchel baby is due for some major taunting once she hits the school ground. Worse if they shorten it to Dory everyone will ask her if she was named after a cartoon fish!

        Returning jury member:
I'm not thrilled Pie will get a chance to return and unless Bridgette's leg has sufficiently healed he stands to have the best chance IF it is a physical comp. The types of comps for jury buy back in the past have been:
        • PHYSICAL: Judd having to catch baseballs
        • CRAP SHOOT: Nicole via the throwing discs into the middle of a table
        • VIEWER VOTING: Kayser.

If it is physical (for those who don't want Pie back) then one of Vic/Paul/Corey leaving this week would at least offer a challenger to just letting Pie walk right back in.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Da'Vonne return since out of all the jury members she was the only one who was back doored not having a chance to play in POV. At least if she does come back Pie will have informed her that Paul knew about her blind side the entire week of his HOH reign.

By the way, sure would love to be a fly on the wall in jury for when Pie enters to the 3 awaiting ladies.

Anyway, too early this morning 5AM EST when comp ended to learn much (and I'm reading not seeing it) so... expect a busy morning today as the hamsters download and share intel. After ACP arrives expect a busy house as paranoia sets in.

To that end, there is potential for ACP to cause the opposite of the desired voters effect. Since the hamsters think the votes occur on the night prior an ACP for Meech may send the message fans like the misfits OR that they want the females to work together. Whereas ACP for Corey could say not to trust the ducks.

Suffice to say it should be a very active day in the house.

Do you think she's not necessarily leaning toward switching to Nicole/Corey's side, geo? I haven't seen feeds since she won, but she was really convincing that she and James were believing Nicole and Corey and were against Paul....I hope that changes.

She caught Paul lying and after he told her all week it was EVERYONE else saying things I think it really ticks her off to learn he was the main cheerleader against her.

And then he seemed to try to be turning her against James which went over with a thud. She/James are big Victor fans though. The one common bond between them in the game is they hate unnecessary drama so Victor has completely won them over. Problem is he's with the sitting ducks, so when they talk to him about Paul's shady game play it will likely go right back to Paul.

And since Meech could win ACP & she is All In with Paul then it could backfire with James ending up on the block. We'll see, but if Meech does that to them after they saved her I'd bet she will have zero alliances in the house next week.

Good morning- for some reason, I thought the HOH was going to be tonight. I went to bed. Glad Natalie won, but not so sure about her plans to work with Nicole/Corey. I know Paul and Victor would probably beat James/Natalie, but do not want Nicole/Corey safe.

I do not like that they will be a jury buy back. I am sure Paulie will win and if Nicole/Corey is there-they could be F3. What I would love to see is Bridgette winning the buy back and a 3 girl final. Frank is the only house guest that did not get a chance to get back into the house.

Morning all. Earlier in the season I posted that this year's BB had no continuous strategy or alliance, and in that it reminds me of the way Survivor changed a couple of seasons ago and people formed "voting blocks" instead of alliances. Things change every week....you vote how you need to each week to keep yourself safe.

That's happening here...no long term strategy. No long term alliances. Week to week a different group of people are together. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's different. And there really is no strategy except "What will keep me here THIS week. I'll worry about next week later."

So now, the week that I thought I had the BEST shot to see Nicole squirm on the block, Natalie makes an emotional decision and decides she's mad at Paul? Did Paul do everything Nicole says? It doesn't really matter if he did....why is Natalie all of a sudden believing everything Nicole says? Wasn't it just last week she said she didn't believe a thing that came out of Nicole's mouth.

        Sheesh, these people.

So if the casual viewers give Corey the ACP because they like the showmances (first Nat, then James, then Nicole, so Corey could be next....), we could end up with Paul and Victor on the block.

Here's hoping that Victor, Michelle or Paul win ACP (I don't know that I've seen anyone mention voting for Paul anywhere, but I'm still hoping for him to have a chance. He's funny.)

From the little I got to watch this morning, via FB, Nicole was telling Nat the truth. Not sure that Paul invented FT, but Nic might not know that, but for sure Paul was part of stoking those flames. I have not forgotten, and maybe Nat has not forgotten either, one morning Paul called Natalie a C***KHole, in the bathroom one morning, to her face. That might be floating around in the back of her head.

Great analogy Nono.. it is very similar to Survivor. Frank started it, then Pie took over Paul continued the trend of ever shifting targets. The commonality is whoever was Alpha Dog made the calls which is partially why alliances haven't stuck.

Corey and Victor are both extremely loyal and tend to want to remain that way with one alliance. James is as well and only really shifted this past week b/c the girls forced his hand by running and telling Paul what was happening (outing Pie's dealings). I suspect James always wanted to work things out with his original alliance which was the 3 guys. He DEFINITELY wants Corey to stay and while he doesn't trust Nicole he definitely trusts her more than he trusts Paul.

James and Natalie, but particularly James are influenced by who gets the care package. I remember James talking about whether they should work with Nicole after she won the cp. Was America trying to send him a message.

Personally, I'd like to see Paul and Vic on the block, and if James knows what's best for him he should too. His best shot at winning is getting them out. Natalie is actually thinking smart if she is looking to put Paul up and if she cared to impress me, she'd want both up to ensure one goes as was done with Paulie and Corey.

Just read some of Nat/James talk and he is definitely steering Nat towards Paul/Vic being on the block. Though he doesn't trust Paul and told Nat we can explain to Vic what Paul has been doing (his shadiness) he also told her if Vic is still up there on eviction night we take him out.

James has always wanted to stay true to Corey so this wasn't a difficult shift back for him. He likes Victor but recognizes him as a target and if Vic leaves he also likely believes Paul would be the main target and easier to oust than Vic.

Of course none of them know about the jury buy-back and Pie returning would be disastrous for all of them except NiCorey. I hope he doesn't win his way back personally. It's not even rational but I find myself being annoyed at his arrogance and mannerisms which is unusual for me. Victor has seriously grown on me. Though he also has an ego I'm not bothered by him in the same way, perhaps b/c he's more of a straight shooter.

      • #11
        Hi All,
If you're a true Natalie and James fan you can't honestly think for their games its best to keep Victor and Paul. That would greatly compromise their chance at winning, and it puts James in danger as Paul and Vic have both voiced that they want James out soon. I'm not a Natalie fan (obviously) but I am a James fan and this scenario is best for his game, and honestly Nats too.

Nono, emotions aside, and your feelings for Nicole, 😊 what's Natalie's best game move? Who is she and James more likely to beat out? If she saves Nicole and Corey they won't go after her next. If she puts one of them up, Paul and Victor will still go after James after she does their dirty work.

        Im hoping Corey wins ACP.

You are dead on the money Rainey. I do think they want to stay true to Victor but he's a double, heck even a triple threat. Nat can get away with nominating Paul with a good excuse if she wants but I doubt she would want to put up Vic. (though again you are right they need him gone if they want to win). And yes they stand a much better shot at winning vs NiCorey.

I saw on a site last night (don't know if it's true) that Nicole said she threw the comp and that she's been throwing them all season. She claimed to be playing Dan's game. Corey of course didn't know who Dan was SMH

        Morning all,

Nothing to add. Demolition BB is still in full swing. As others have said, ACP is going to influence a lot. If Michelle gets it, Nat and Michelle might actually wake up to the idea of keeping girls safe, which means the targets would be Corey, Paul and Vic as a backup. Or if Corey gets ACP look for Nat and James to go all in with Nicorey to target Paul and Vic. If Paul or Vic get ACP, the targets will be full on Nic/Corey.

I have switched off my strategy brain for now. The house is going to reconfigure again this week, and with the returnee next week (hope it is Bridge) the house will reconfigure again.

Until ACP today, I don't think there is any good way to see what the noms will be, nor even hazard a path for Nat as HOH, since the Co-HOH is going to influence what make the most sense for her game this week.

I think switching off strategy brains for this season is our only hope, KeninVA . Never seen anything like this in all my years of watching BB. Demolition BB is the perfect term. The drama is the only thing to hold onto, but it sure would be nice to see a tiny inkling of long-term strategy. I've given up on that, alas and aleek.

Checking polls and Corey who began under 10% to start the week is closing in on leader Meech. Someone asked (I think Becky) where I check these polls, but by the time I saw her question that day's discussion was closed. Anyway I go to a number of sites and check social media.

The one site which has been dead on every time had Meech well over 40% to start the week & Corey around 9% now just 7% separates them & for a shift of that magnitude he's probably closer than that. Apparently Derrick's fans are voting and Pie asked his/Cody's fans to vote for Corey too, so we may see an unseeding of Meech. IF that happens who knows what the noms will be. I think Meech had too big of a lead entering the night and it will be her, but we'll know soon enough. Oh and if it's Meech then Nicole is going to be pissed.

And yet Nicole will be easier to beat at comps if they drag her along. That thought has to be brewing in Natalie's head somewhere.

Not so sure Nicole/Corey can protect James/Natalie. Nicole has said she is not trying to win. She wants to get to the end without being on the block and not winning comps. Natalie keeps Nicole/Corey, Paulie comes back in, Nicole/Corey will flip back to him.

I do not know what I want to happen but loving the game right now.
