Good Morning everyone About to head to bed to catch a couple hours of zzzz's myself but look forward to hanging out with everyone later today & tonight!

Not much happened overnight/in the wee hours with the hamsters... guess they were all 'too pooped to pop' after the events of the prior 24 hours Everyone went to bed relatively early...and aside from Vic getting up because he couldnt sleep all has been quiet..

I think if they're smart (and we know they haven't always proven to be so..lol) they will go ahead and take this shot and get Vic on out the door... it's the smartest game move for all of them IMHO (except Paul of course).. I don't mind Vic, I just think he's the biggest/toughest competition any/all of them have at this point...plus (they don't know of course) there's the Juror return coming up so....

I don't necessarily *REALLY* like any of them at this point...like so much that I'm rah rah rah over any one of them to be honest. But on a personal level, I still like James and Natalie. And Michelle cracks me up with her 'ballsy-ness' (yeah I know it's not a word ) but I could realllly do without her plucking and crying and carrying on...Paul and Vic have made me LOL quite a bit ... Nicole & Corey? mehhh

I guess I'm kinda hoping for a James/Nat/Meech F3 with any of those becoming F2 and even any of them winning and I'm good

okay so.. I'll "see" you guys later today!

Good Morning BBFanShan and all who follow

      James DOES have a plan:
James dialed Nat back in to recognize they have to take out Victor to split the ducks. It's not their preference of the two but with Paul winning POV it's the only option.

And, Victor who has grown on me KNOWS he isn't completely safe. With Paul telling him we get out Corey this week & James next week only served to remind Vic if we are prepared to do this then why wouldn't James be. He's not voicing this out loud, but you can see his mind working and as BBFanShan noted late last night he was outside working out talking to the live feeders & commenting on being nervous.

      F4 each hamster desires:
Each remaining player has a different set of F4 partners. Listing in order from ideal F2 -F3-F4 there are:

Meech: Nat, Vic, Corey Unfortunately, Meech isn't thinking clearly as she should know Vic would win hands down, but they have also been growing closer. She knows Paul isn't trustworthy and doesn't trust Nic. As for James she likes him but ideally wants to take Nat to F2 with her. (for now lol). Of note, James is going to wait til just prior to eviction or just after to explain to Meech why he voted out Victor. And while she'll be upset when he explains the logic of removing a game threat and that he/Nat have her back she'll process it and understand. He'll also need to tell her if he wins HOH he'll take out whoever she wants next.

Paul: Nicole, Nat, Meech ... YES Paul is telling Victor he'll take him to F2 but he has zero intention of it. He knows he could lose to Vic given his comp wins, how he's kept his hands relatively clean (only guilt by association) and although Paul has his social game, Victor is the duck who is more popular.

Vic: Paul, Meech, Nat ... Unlike Paul his duck partner is loyal and IMO would keep his word to take Paul to F2. The move to take him out this week is the RIGHT move for everyone except Paul, though he'd be happy to clip him shortly after James left.

Nicole: Corey, Nat/James*not sure if she'd rather take Nat over James or vice versa. Nic knows she can beat Corey and I think she'll prefer Nat

Corey: Nic, James, Nat .... Corey is one of the loyal players (like Victor) who prefers to stick to alliances once made. He won't think strategically to take Meech/Nat for example rather than stay true to James.

To that end, as per NiCorey IMO even if Pie returns I'm not convinced they won't honor Jamalie as their F4 given they aren't happy with the hot water Pie left them in, the shady moves he pulled to try to get Corey out and now that Nic knows how hard Pie was playing and Jamalie will have saved her I think she'll push Corey to stick with the F4

Nat: James, Meech, Nicole - she wants all girls plus James

James: Nat, Nicole/Corey I do think James would be ok bringing along Meech (for Nat) BUT he'll know she would do great at the F4 POV and won't want to risk that whereas he'll believe Nic would keep him over Nat and that he/Nat could also win that POV since NiCorey don't tend to study much.

      Post POV:

Sounds like Paul, Meech and Vic all did extremely well in POV (increasing their targets) as mental comp beasts

Meech is suspecting there will still be a buy back (ding, ding, ding) but James disagrees thinking it would be so unfair this late in the game. Perhaps he agrees, but doesn't want to say so (as taking out Victor for that reason alone makes even more sense than taking out Corey).

Paul was pushing his personal agenda hard at Meech to put up Corey and also working both Nat/James hard regarding his safety. IMO he's HEAVILY over playing by pushing for Corey to go up which is only serving to seal Victor's fate as James sits and watches him. Pie rubbed off on him as he just can't stop talking game and with fewer people in the house it's shining a big spot light on him. He's refusing to listen to Meech's desire to put up Nic instead of Corey and when James says "do what you want, don't let anyone pressure you" Paul gave it a 2 second pause then goes right back at getting out Corey.

      Tidbits & Moving Forward:
Also funny how different Paul looks with his hair growing in. Is it my imagination or does he look smarter/more serious?

James is playing his role to a T, but they need to mention to NiCorey to act more nervous b/c they are setting off alarm bells by acting too comfortable.

Though some felt the move by Nat/Meech was bad (and the polls are reflecting it as Nat plummeted after the noms) the truth is Paul was already gearing up to take out James this coming week, so it had to be done. Although I'm annoyed at the prospect of NiCorey going deep in the game it is the right move for James/Nat (and even Meech).

That said, again IMHO all of the players remaining have arguments for why they deserve to win, though Corey's isn't as strong (again IMHO).

The 2 players I'm enjoying more late game than I did initially are Victor and Meech. I remain in a love-hate relationship with Paul, and I still really like Nat/James. Nicole has been shady and has an argument to win, but I just haven't liked her this season.

      Buy Back & Bribe Implications:

As fans I'm so annoyed (at myself as well) we couldn't have figured out a way to save the best packages for people we wanted to get them later in the game. For example, I would have rather Nicole won the slop pass instead of safety. Specifically b/c entering next week with this bribe CP can only go to one of Paul, Corey and whoever returns. That in itself is a scary proposition for James as that CP could well end up being what costs James the game. Even in the event Corey wins it, if he or Nic are on the block beside James guess how he'll use the bribe? ... to send James out the door.

The buy back should be super interesting and I hope it will enforce James knowing he or Corey have to win HOH to stay safe. I'll reiterate I hope the comp is one that will allow for any juror to return as opposed to something only Vic/Pie can win.

Would thoroughly enjoy Da returning to scare the crap out of Nicole and so she can realign with Meech, Nat and James for example. Would enjoy Bridg returning just to see what she would do. And as much as he's a comp beast (who would likely want revenge on James) as a fan seeing Victor return a second time is definitely appealing (though I'll put a caveat on that: if Vic returns I hope Paul leaves next week so Victor gets to play with Meech or someone else less controlling).

Regardless Victor has cemented an All Star appearance with his comp wins. Too bad he didn't know up front how important strategy/social aspects were as he could have lied low & been one of those rare players who wins out at game end. If Victor doesn't make it back or to the end game I think (based on current polls) he has likely won America's Player.

Anyway.... running on fumes ... need some zzzz's, so just my musings at 6:35 AM ...off to bed.

As for the HoH comp (buyback) I really hope it's either a straight wall or secondly a sit on a platform and swing around endurance. We all want a long epic HoH and both of those could end up being just that. With this past HoH being a button type HoH even though is was time specific I doubt we would ever see it as a pressure cooker and the slide really seems to favor they guys.

As for the care package it doesn't say the bribe-e must accept the bribe from the briber. So this late in the game why would anyone accept it (other then James who seems to like those situations) or for someone like Corey to bribe Nicole for her vote even though they are going to vote the same way. In all honesty the way it's written it sound like a waste like it was a few years ago when someone was given bribe money to use.

That knowledge COULD effect the vote so I would assume they do a quick early vote, evict a houseguest, interview the houseguest, and then go SURPRISE.

      Morning all,

I know many are unhappy at Victor's pending boot, but from a game perspective, this is absolutely the best move. And for evidence that James knows what is happening, and is thinking through the strategy of getting to the end, FB to his convo's with Nat yesterday afternoon, and last night after the PoV played out. Nat also adds to the mix, by pointing out to James, it is too early to promise F4 loyalty to Nic/Corey. We know, as does James, she wants Meech in the end.

Meech is not going to put up James, and if she did, it would seal Victor's fate, and put her solidly on the downside of the house in a 3 vs 2, unless Vic were to win his way back in. And the returnee, is going to face a quick 5 way contest to return to the show, which could very well be a crapshoot like affair similar to the one that Nic won in S16, and that Jocasta almost won. We know it will be quick, since the 5k award will include the returnee, and the voting will open right after the show airs thursday. My prediction, a crapshoot return, and teacup as the HoH.

Nothing much to see today, expect for Paul getting increasingly nervous, which will paint a bigger target on Victor, and the expected nomination on Monday, which I think is still up in the air (Nic or Corey).

Ladycop, they have done that before, but, due to the need to reveal the returnee right after the Live Show, they can't logistically accommodate that this week. The eligible HG's for the care package have to be known before the end of the live show, and a mass q/a comp with returning HG's in it, might lead to all the returnees going out in the same round. So, by deduction, it has to be some type of quick, 5 person competition, which will be followed by an HoH with 5 competitors (Nat and Michelle can't play).

The voting on the last Care Package begins at 10pm EST on Thursday 25th which is of course after the live show. So either they'll toss everyone into the vote pool or we'll know returnee at end of show. Since they like to torture us with no completion of comps on Thursday now, suspect first option.

I was really surprised to hear that the target is now on Victor. I guess at this point it's better to get a big comp threat, but I think they are underestimating Corey and Nicole. I also think they might choose differently if they knew someone was coming back.

Just curious.....From AG's perspective, who do you think she would rather have evicted? Corey or Vic (assuming Corey goes up)? Besties or comp beasts battling it out with the girls to come back? My bet is that DR people will be working overtime to get Corey out so BB can show besties battling it out all the while conflicted. Pie wins and comes back with a vengeance against 'the evil people that voted him out.' The girls lost in the background again. I doubt AG would 'see' anyone that wants a Bridget or Day return.

Or does she want a 'Vic wins his way back into the house twice and wins the game' storyline?

        Or .......

        What do you all think?

I think ''america'' will arrange the Vic buyback. The will to get Vic out won't be overcome by DR pressure. By now some of them are tired of the DR to the point of being defiant even. It happens every year.

I find, as others have already said, that I'm not a big fan of any these folks this year. Im on board with many others in my dislike for Nicole, who I was glad to see in the beginning. I am scratching my head over how the same whininess ;ast year was ok with me but grates on my last nerve now. If she wins, she wins; but I won't like it one bit; and last time I checked my wishes were not in line withe interests of TPTB.

Normally I like seeing a strong mix at final four, but the boys have shown a side of there personalities that is truly cringe worthy.

I have noticed that since Paulie has been gone, the other boys have toned it down a bit. Coincidence? I think not. I do like the powerhouse comps with the boys showing there skills and brains this season. The mix of vets, siblings, and newbies has all been good to watch. Just would have enjoyed a little less boys will be boys crude conversations.

Just some of my wacko thoughts:

TROUBLE IN PARADISE? - saw Corey snap at Nicole a couple times yesterday. He was irritated by her expecting him to wait on her. But, turn off the lights and its cuddle time again. However first time I remember hearing Corey talk that sarcastically directly to someone (admitting he's done smack talk behind backs).

Meanwhile James continues to serve his princess while she goes on and on about how much she adores Victor.

LOYALTY: I know this will be argued, but in his own way, Paulie thought he was being loyal to The Five Guys and felt he'd proved it by not taking Z off the Block. Only in an alternative universe would we know if he actually would have taken them to the final five, but he professes it in his Jeff interview, with his caveat of Corey being his first and James his second.

Meanwhile, the guy we think is the most honest, James, is the one who has constantly broken every deal he's made, beginning with Frank and Bridgette, then Paulie, now Paul and Victor. His word means nothing in that House. However they were all the right moves to get him and Nat to where there are, but will it get him to the promised land? He has managed to soften blows by letting people know briefly ahead of votes what to expect, so that rebuilds some trust. But the only one of the Jury he didn't put there is Da'Vonne, so anyone else can come back with a burr in their saddle towards James.

LET'S PLAY TWISTER: For once the twists have actually changed the game. Most of previous TPTB Coup d'etat, Pandoras Box, etc. have been duds. Even the hyped Paris room ended up with nobody evicted having the return ticket. But the Care Packages actually affected the game. Ta Dah.

PAULIE INFLUENCE: Like it not, he's still in the House with their discussions. Paul found himself getting dinged for doing his Paulie imitation. But, I admit I did roar with laughter during his Jeff interview when Paulie said I'm trained to interpret body language. Maybe so, but even though he did see things, he incorrectly assumed the guys were using the same playbook, so made the wrong moves. Who knows, in a different season he could have gone further. But he is in their brains and if he doesn't win the buy back, could work on the Jury to influence votes. Return and he's again at the head of the Hit List for most.

SAY WHAT? Like last year, this bunch of newbies are writing the rules as they go. Last year, let twins and their partner continue to stay in, taking a twin to final two? This year, let an evictee stay in along with pairs? Their ignorance of previous seasons/BB history allows them to make it up as they go, while we all slap our foreheads, saying Wah? As much as we may not like them as people, honestly can't say either season has been predictable. Creepy Steve won?

MICHIGAN: I promise you, Nicole and Michelle do not represent the women of my state. We don't all either incessantly whine or drone out snarky comments, then cry with enormous boo hoo hoos. All while lying around like a slug.

Michigan is really a lovely state from the rugged UP down to all the lakes and shorelines of the mitten. If you've seen the movie Gran Torino the final scene was shot along Lakeshore Dr which goes through the Pointes. I always take visitors there to enjoy the mansions on one side and the Lake on the other.

Paulie didn't know anything about loyalty! That was just his mantra to keep the boys in line. And I can prove it to you: He thought Cody did a stupid move by not taking Victoria to F2. Cody did that because of fairness and loyalty to Derrick. Paulie would have screwed over the person who got him to the end, and laughed about it. Absolutely no loyalty to him at all.

As I said, we'll never know what he would have done since he never made it to that point. But when tested with Z he did stick with the guys. That play cost him when he had to chose who to be loyal to. Note: I'm talking game loyalty, not moral loyalty. It's rather like team play. You can be a despicable as a person but still function in a team. Just like professional sports teams or that guy who creeps you out at work, but is brilliant at what he does. I think Paulie viewed this as a team sport, but obviously no-one else did.

Morning everyone! We have sunshine for the first time in weeks (well, it feels like weeks). I may have sun in Arkansas, but my BB plans are cloudy because it looks like Nicole is somehow going to make it through another week. Sigh.

I saw that James said they will not have another juror return with a second Double Eviction because that wouldn't be fair this late. If James knew his BB, he'd know that's what they do it this late every year.

The Second Double Eviction has been the first Thursday in September for the last 4 seasons: BB14, BB15, BB16, and BB17.
The Returning Juror has come back in the house on the last Thursday in August in BB15 and BB17 and the next to last Thursday in BB16.

We know (and they should figure out) that the Returning Juror comes back this Thursday, August 25. And more than likely that means the Second Double Eviction is NEXT week, Thursday, Sept 1.

Fun times. Maybe Victor will win his way back in ANOTHER time this Thursday and then there are two chances to send Nicole home NEXT Thursday.

Here's hoping. I'm headed out to the sun before it disappears....

Good morning all my BBU friends...

I wish Victor had won the POV. I prefer Paul out over Victor. I really want Bridgette to win her way back into the game. If not Bridgette, Victor. I still do not have a number one to pull for. This has been a strange year in the house and out. Showmances still in the game. Alliances being broken every week. Most of us do not have a clear favorite. A few have had their train loaded all year, good for you. I flip and flop as much as the house guest.
