Morning all. Well, it looks like we may see some conversations between James and Nicole today (maybe??).

I guess today's question is what will James do/say when he finally talks to Nicole about the vote this week. Might be interesting. Might be a two minute conversation and that's it.

I'm betting James will not start studying. Natalie should dump him at that point, since he's been saying 'don't talk to them', but she probably won't. Natalie will be going home next week unless she pulls out the HOH. Which would be funny.

Can you imagine Paulie locked in with 5 women who hate him? No wonder he was feeling claustrophobic!

Michelle and James were talking last night and she mentioned that she hadn't talked to Corey or Nicole at all about their votes and that they are the deciding votes this week. She asked James if she should talk to them and he told her no, so she said okay.

First of all, James isn't the one in danger of going home, so why would you listen to him. Secondly, Corey (and then Nicole in the case of a tie) are the ones controlling who goes home this week, so why wouldn't you talk to them? Michelle keeps complaining that Nicole hasn't said who she wants to go home this week but Michelle (or James/Natalie) haven't actually ASKED her. I know it is a novel concept and all but if you want to know something, then you are going to have to actually ask the question.

They are just assuming that Corey (and in a tie-breaker Nicole) will keep Michelle in the house. But at this point, why would they? Michelle has made no effort to even ASK for a vote from either of them. And James and Natalie are just assuming that Corey/Nicole will go along with voting out Paul and neither of them have talked to Nicole or Corey much this week. So what is the incentive for Corey/Nicole to keep Michelle in the house when they KNOW that Michelle will definitely go after them? She keeps repeating it ... even last night she said that she wants Nicole to go home next week.

My philosophy is that if you want to stay in the game you need to actually PLAY THE GAME. Don't sleep all day, every day and just assume that you are safe in the house. Perhaps they should consider actually having a conversation with Corey, who could force a tie (and most likely will) and Nicole, who is the tie-breaker to ensure that you are safe for the week.

AND why in the world would Michelle tell Paul that she believes Nicole has a F2 deal with James when she knows that Paul is on the block as well? WHY would you talk to Paul about game at this point and say stuff about Nicole? You don't think that Paul, who is on the block, will use that information to try and stay in the house? Seriously?

It seems that James has taken to Michelle's way of conserving energy he does a lot of game talk from his bed which he sleeps a lot in. He has not been very pro active in participating in game conversation as to what the current HOH Nicole,or Corey,or Vic about their thoughts in who is best to pull off the block or anything game related. The priority for him seems to be, just to make Natalie happy. She has a large hand in deciding how he should play his game. James however does demonstrate what he referees to as strategic game plan by occasionally going out and messing with their heads in that he try's to confuse them as to what comp is next , or what order play will take place so that they do not put as much study effort out there. They are on to him it isn't working.

I agree. Pathetic gameplay. I think Michele knows and she just doesnt care to fight for it at this point. I have no other explanation.

James gives terrible advice. He was giving terrible advice to Nat earlier in the game and his advice to Michele is ridiculous. She is on the block but she shouldn't talk to NiCorey? If I was Nicole, when I break the tie, I would say "you called me a snake on the live show and haven't even bothered to get out of bed to ask me for your vote, so I can't vote to keep you" It's her own fault at this point. She could have pitched a girls final 3 to Nicole. ANYTHING to at least at least try.

        MUNCH OBITUARY:

It's never a good sign when you're more concerned about what you'll be wearing to the Live Show so you'll look good talking to Julie, then working to NOT be evicted. Michelle has checked out, sleeping all day long, only coming out to stuff her face to then return to her lair to hibernate again. Adios Meech, never cared, not feeling the friendship, you're about to be boned, etc. Such a negative person. But you got to live out your fan dream. Wonder if you'll like the person you showed to the world?

I had the exact same thought earlier this morning....so negative for someone so young. Her self-loathing and insecurities have really jaded her view of the world, and her jealousy of Nicole is over-the-top. She absolutely deserves to go this week. Zero game. I pray that Nat follows her out the door next week. I don't want either of them anywhere near the big bucks. After that, I don't care how it unfolds.

''coup d'etat'' -- overthrow of the state -- often known on BBU as ''coup d'jeff'', since it was created as a means for him to overthrow the HOH, pull both noms off the block and (I think) even renom the replacements himself.

I haven't given up on Paulie , for some reason I picture them showing us the jury house with Paulie in his cute little apron baking pies for the girls and all of them fighting for his attention ya know kinda like the girls all do on the Bachlor , remember they are all single and shut off from the real world .or they got him locked up somewhere in the attic

For the most part, I have lost interest in this season and did not even watch Sunday's program. Last night, before I went to bed, I turned on POP and both Nicole and Corey were expressing their surprise that James, Michelle and Nat have made no real effort to discuss the upcoming eviction. Yesterday, Paul made the same observation when talking with Corey. I like James life story and have been pulling for him because he is just a nice guy. I don't care at all for Paul, Corey and Vic. I remember many of the vile and nasty things they said about women earlier in the season. Nicole is playing a really stupid game again with her showmance and pettiness getting the best of her. If James, Michelle and Nat don't corner Nicole today and make a strong case for getting Paul out, in my mind, this will confirm they are very weak players and do not deserve to win. I will completely lose interest in the game because once again, we will see a strong player (Paul) completely manipulate a bunch of clueless weak players as we saw in the two previous seasons.

Again, I don't like Paul, but if the other HGs don't wake up, he deserves the win. Vic is good at comps, but is not a strategist and even though I find him to be more likeable than most of the remaining HGs, his social skills are nothing special. I am very, very disappointed in James (as well as Nat and Michelle).

Ya know I use to think the slop made them tired then I thought it was the extreme hot outside to the extreme cold inside or the stress of the game that made them always soooo tired it's baffling to me to see these young people so lazy and tired makes me think that if they were all older in age we'd be watching much worse action goin on

I know am too disappointed in James. I keep thinking he is under the assumption that since Nic and Corey wanted Paul out last eviction, he thinks they are following thru with that plan.

Haven't done any reading this morning.

Am half expecting Ken to come on and say that Nicole is finally playing a good game. Because whenever I pick someone that I 100% don't want to have win, that seems to correlate with the people who like the strategic players tapping that person for victory.

... off to catch up on the morning's activities.

        Afternoon all,

Not much to add. As I said yesterday, Nicole has put herself into decent position to never see the jury house, but has decreased her odds of getting into a F2 seat, IMO. In a F4 with Vic/Paul, the odds based on comp wins favor Vic/Paul.

That aside, James/Nat/Michelle have all done a poor job of figuring out what is happening (Nat/Mich know, but let James lull them into a false sense of security). If they were better players, Mich and James/Nat would be making separate cases to get Paul out to Nic. Mich would be pitching never nomming or voting out a girl, and cleaning up the Z boot statements with Nic. Nat/James would be making a stronger case for Paul to be voted out to weaken Vic, and James would be making a separate case to Nic that with a newbie heavy jury, the only chance either of them have to win is to be in the F2 together. It would give Nicole something to think about, and she definitely could move Corey to the boot Paul side of the equation. He is a zero in the game.

I expect some conversation today/tonight, but it will be too little, too late, and Mich will leave tomorrow. If James or Nat don't win HOH, one of them will be gone the next week. If James gets booted, look for Vic to attempt to pull Nat in, and take a shot at Corey if he can. JMO.

I have been going back through and listening to conversations that happened last night after I went to bed. Nicole and Corey were on the hammock talking about the upcoming evictions. Nicole said that after Michelle is evicted, it would be best to let Paul/Victor win HOH (if possible) and have them nominate James/Natalie. Vote out James (if he doesn't win POV) and then Nicole/Corey should really try to win the next HOH and nominate Vic/Natalie and vote out Victor. She said that was their best bet strategically to get to the F2.

So while Nicole is willing to work with Paul/Victor now, I don't think she really wants to go to the F4 with both of them in the house. Nicole said that getting Victor out after James is her best bet of making it to the F3, which will give her a fighting chance to be a part of the F2. I think Nicole is starting to really think about the game more and more.

Amj - not surprised to hear that. I've been peddling that Nicoles ideal f4 is actually with Nat and Paul, where she figures she and Corey together have the best shot at outing Paul and taking Nat to f3.

I even think that if James/Nat win HOH this Thursday, that Nicole can remind James that their deal was to keep their 4 safe, which is what she did, even if she did decide to send the biggest threat to her instead of to the house home. Combined with the fact that Nat nominated them last time and both are still here, I bet they continue to want one of Vic/Paul out. At least, James will. Nat will know a bit better than to believe that, so she might nominate Corey/Paul because she has doe eyes for Victor and will only nom him in a replacement situation when she knows he will go home.

        Hey, everyone...

Not really surprised at James. I lost faith in his gameplay last year when he insisted that his "gut" told him that there was NO WAY Julia/Liz/Austin would side with Vanessa over Meg/James. He was absolutely certain that the Austwins were on his side.

        Yeah...not so much.

He's very likable. But he didn't learn any lessons from last season. Only difference is that the 3 Blind Mice have moved from dentist chairs to the London Bed Room.

I agree, and the thing is, I don't think he even really wanted to improve on his game. He wanted to come back, play the same way (hello pranks non stop week TWO) and get another AFP, get more fans, so he can continue the fun but short lived post-BB experience, IMO.

The only difference this year is the ONE game move he did make, which he ONLY was convinced to do because of a combination of a hint from America (CP) and Natalie's insistance and work with Brig/Meech to really make it happen.
