    Morning all.

BLECH! I don't mind Victor being HoH. I want Victor to go all the way. I don't even really care whether James or Natalie go home. I don't think they have played a smart game. Last week they should have been out socializing and not letting the four become so bonded. It just sucks that Nicole and Corey are safe again, particularly Nicole. I hope she gets Brittanyed and the final three are Vic, Paul, and Corey.

Good Morning Geo and all who follow

First a side note to Geo: even better is if Natalie gets further than Nicole!~

    So.......................

The morning after a highly contested HOH where yet again Victor won I can't help but reflect on how timing and luck play such a big part of Big Brother. Regardless of who you are pulling for when you examine the facts each and every hamster has been affected in the game by timing and luck

Although Victor won his way back the timing of when he was evicted especially the second time gave him the opportunity to return.

For Corey he lucked into Nicole selecting him as her showmance and Pie selecting him as his ride or die. It allowed him to lie low for the majority of the game.

Nicole lucked into players who had dirt on her leaving at opportune times where the house had already turned on that person (Da, Frank, Bridgette) so she was able to duck for cover while the bigger target was exposed.

For BOTH Corey & Nicole the timing of when Nat won HOH versus when Nicole won HOH was LUCKY because if the situation was reversed it's doubtful Nicole would have gunned for Meech at that stage or if she had it wouldn't have offered the opportunity for them to flip to the ducks like they did this past week.

Paul lucked out in that Pie pulled him in and the timing of Victor's return (on both occasions) allowed him to maintain his ride or die partner.

James/Nat I think suffered the most from bad luck and ill timing in that the person they got out (Victor) left on the final night of the jury buy back and the bad timing of Nicole winning HOH after they proved their loyalty to the F4.

Of course the other elements are playing the game and it has to be said Victor ranks among the best competitors of all time. Humility however is not something he excels at.

Moving forward the new Final 4 intend to put up Jamalie today and while Victor had wanted James gone NiCorey is already planting seeds for Nat to leave and Paul is starting to acquiesce to that position.

Now for the personal side of things (heads up it's my skewed opinion):

Let's face it I can't stand Nicole this season and am infuriated she is acting holier than thou while stabbing people in the face. She DID in fact tell Meech/Nat she wanted Paul gone, she DID have a Final 4 with Jamalie and she DID say things about both ducks. She is denying all of this to the ducks who for some reason are choosing to forget much of the damage she did PRIOR to last week simply b/c she took out her own biggest personal target this week.

Watching Victor and Paul give James/Nat the finger as they left the room was sad for me. As I've said I'm happy for Victor and his fans, but he does become much more of a douche when he is on the upside.

James at least has decided to play and we are learning a bit more now about why he didn't approach NiCorey. First he felt it was inappropriate to fight Meech's fight and he FULLY trusted in the Final 4 of the showmances. Listening to Jamalie discuss the game and their dire situation I was reminded of why I ended up pulling for these 2. Both clearly know they were played and got to this place by protecting NiCorey and being faithful. James knows he shouldn't have thrown the HOH last week and Nat knows her gut was on the money that NiCorey could NOT be trusted. If there was ever a time for trash talk from James it was last night following the NiCorey betrayal (not Meech leaving in so much as no heads up and the obvious shift to the ducks). But that's not in his DNA. instead they talked logically about what they can do and credited the others for playing better socially or getting one up on them.

Meanwhile the ducks were downstairs cutting them up saying they plan on being rude to them this week (and have in fact already started) Nicole meanwhile whines and lies about how she was surprised the week prior when the ducks went on the block "because she had absolutely NOTHING to do with that, she was surprised and just happy not to go up" I'm gagging at all her lies at this point b/c I know if Nat had won they would have abandoned the ducks and run to Jamalie to reinforce their F4.

As much as we can all agree James probably should have done something more last week the fact neither James/Nat are bad mouthing the people they were loyal to who just f**ked them is why I became fans of them in the first place.

Whether you like Nat or not she has received the most hate this season while Nicole at least IMO has done more to deserve negative comments. She slut shamed Nat if she even spoke to Corey but meanwhile Nic is allowed to have her nightly bed gymnastics and flirt with Victor with no recourse.

James talks to Vic cut short and what he SHOULD HAVE SAID:
James did tell Vic about the F4 and that was why they couldn't accept the ducks offer of F4. He also pitched for Vic not to put up Nat b/c she fought for him to stay last week (due to her distrust of NiCorey) but he was being loyal to their alliance. Unfortunately, his time was cut short by SHOCKER the couple most worried about what he would say.

I wish James would have just called them out ... Now I don't generally go for using family, but in this specific situation it would have felt right for him to do so. He's the one guy who hasn't bad mouthed people this season with Vic a close second. Both Vic & James are family men plus one could opine James is in this situation b/c of family in a way. Anyway here is what he should have said given NiCorey didn't even afford him time to campaign.

On my daughters life Vic we had a F4 and their targets were you and Paul. Nicole you got me to throw you the HOH all while saying we have to make it look good and so you could get a letter from your Mom, so you tell me can you swear on your Mother's life that isn't true? I have no problems if I leave b/c I was faithful to 3 people in this game from Day one. I even went against my showmance who for the record had a better read on you b/c she KNEW you couldn't be trusted. Victor just remember one thing if Nat had won you would would be the one standing here with your d*ck your hand. And once I leave next week if you think they won't take one of you out then ask yourself if they could stab the person in the back they've been with 75 days what is a week to them?

Then walk to the door turn around and say: I've kept it above board all season so take this as it's meant. It's the first time all season you 2 are out of bed to interrupt someone in the HOH room. I guess that's in hopes I wouldn't tell Victor the truth and b/c of your guilt right now. Nicole you wonder why people keep referring to you as a snake... saying to me on the wall we have to make it look good like we are fighting and begging me to let you take them out so you could see your Mom's letter. I wonder how proud she is of you this very moment. Vic do what you gotta do, I respect it b/c I did what I did out of loyalty and I can live with that.

But James isn't a word smith and he graciously left the room.

Immediately after James left the room Nic jumped on Vic about what James said. He coyly said so when were you going to tell me about your F4 with them. Nic of course used a deflection/lie by denying it w/o really lying. She said that's not really the way it was. Her word use gives her the out of saying she never really denied it. BUT as I've said Victor at this point doesn't care. HE MIGHT if (crossing our fingers WHEN) James wins the POV and reminds Victor he can't play next week and it will be the best chance for NiCorey to strike.

Not loving how new F4 are treating Jamalie already:

Watching BBAD last night there was a section where everyone was all in one room and Natalie is interjecting but James doesn't say one word. He occasionally looks at Nicole who REFUSES to speak to him or make eye contact with him. AWKWARD. James is banging the bed with his leg and Paul says to him "that's really annoying" the entire room falls quiet, no one laughs and James stops. My heart almost broke at that moment for James who clearly thought Nicole wouldn't screw him over. Go back to the scene and watch how Nicole won't even look at James and how he is staring at Nicole.

As Jamalie get up to leave Victor makes the hand movements like shoo. And earlier both Paul and Victor gave Jamalie the finger when they left the room. It's cruel and unnecessary IMHO. Given the new bromance and bramance with Corey & Nic I'm not sure post show if Vic will care about treating them poorly, but if he only knew I doubt he'd be treating them this way. He did seem a little kinder to Nat when he spoke to her telling her she isn't his target but is guilty by association.

Perhaps James best observation tonight was the ducks are enamored with NiCorey b/c they are the fun couple. They've laid around and had fun and let everyone else do the dirty work so they have no blood on them and what's more they seem like the cool kids. For the ducks after fighting all season to fit in they finally feel accepted and in truth they probably think they can win out against anyone.

Hoping for a James POV win AND another scripted speech he could use:

Hopefully the POV will be "How bad do you want it" I doubt NiCorey will take big punishments and I hope James/Nat strategize prior so one of them chooses to take all of the punishments and the other one takes all the rewards.

It would be funny if Nat took all the prizes, James the punishments and then he stood up in POV and delivered what would go down in BB history as possibly the best POV speech/action ever:

This young lady read the game better than me. She believed you (Victor) and Paul and didn't trust NiCorey but bc they wanted to split you two I made her put you up and didn't listen to her when she begged me to keep you. I trusted the people I've been working with for over 75 days instead. It's also no secret Nat and I haven't done well in mental comps whereas these 2 didn't study and slept through entire segments of the weather comp and Corey still beat us both. So pick whoever you think is your bigger threat of these two as the replacement even if the target stays the same. At least give your self the possibility to increase your winning percentage knowing you can't play in HOH and would have 3 people definitely playing for you. Whatever decision you make I won't hold it against you b/c not only are you a comp beast you played a clean and loyal game. And with that I choose to use the POV on Natalie! AND ... drop the microphone!.

LOL, clearly I have too much time invested in this game. lol

    Today's no brainers:

So Jamalie will go on the block, but the initial seeds have been planted. I doubt we'll get a speech like above and I'm not sure James would give Nat the POV. Conversely Nat seems pretty set on giving it to James if we believe her and I kind of do. She doesn't like Nicole (especially now), has never been fond of Corey and without James in the house I think she would be ostracized even more and have literally no one to talk to. Since the ducks intend to be mean to her and she knows Nicole won't even bother to speak to her with 4 sets of balls in the house it might be better for her to leave and go be with her friends. We'll see.

Whether James wins POV or not is all relative at this point b/c I do think one of the ducks will make a F2 chair and win easily. What we'll need to watch for today is how freaked out Nicole is and if there is any interaction at all between the 2 showmances or her & James. Nicole does have all her boy toys to play with, but will she feel ANY remorse for how she handled the James situation at all? Something tells me prior to week's end Natalie may show a bit of her latin spirit and get in Nicole's face if she says/does anything to James. I think she has had it with Nicole and won't just walk away.

As for the Snake Charmer as I said in a post yesterday I expected her to rant about Nicole and she did last night with both Nat & Vic (or Paul) telling her to let it go. She will continue to get even more paranoid today as she rethinks what her mother said and how miserable her brother looked.

Case in point just prior to going to sleep Nicole was upset about lying to the ducks about their F4 with Jatalie. Corey said you need to tell them the truth. AND also something I predicted she is already saying she wants to keep her perfect record of not going on the block if there is a re-nom (um this is Corey you just said that to idiot). So, expect Nicole to come clean at some point today to the ducks and use some feeble excuse about why they didn't honor it. It won't matter to the ducks (for now) BUT if James or Nat win HOH it may become more of a selling point. You have to think TPTB will be in Paul's ear big time saying so basically Jatalie were just being loyal and now they are getting boned for it. That may lead to Paul thinking about the ducks increasing their odds vs Jatalie (who btw aren't aware Nat has been cramming for date comps). It's a long shot but I'll hope Jatalie find a way to get Nicole or Corey up on that block and send one out the door this week!

And finally................... HEY YOU --- BACK YARD MEGA PHONE, DRONE GUY. ... You've ignored my chants, requests and hopes to deliver messages. So I'm assuming you are suffering from laryngitis or your megaphone broke. So I'll make it easier for you, It won't even require you to speak. After the POV is played and prior to the POV ceremony, when you know all the hamsters are in the back yard just throw a half dozen rubber snakes over the wall. And if you want to get fancy get a sparkling pen and write TRUTH on the snakes. I'd really appreciate that!

James and Nat both admit they betrayed Paul and Vic. Nic/Cory did not put James and Nat up per agreement on the wall. James admits this is not his first rodeo, and he should have know to not throw a comp. He suffered from sleeping sickness most of the season, and just now wakes up and says, we got to start playing.

TTOTAMBZ I couldn't believe it myself, when I heard Paul say that he was going me make jatalie's life heal this week. What's the point? I truly hope that one of them wins the VETO so Nicole will have to sweat a little. What happened to our sweet Nicole?

James might not be a wordsmith, but if Nat wins the POV you can bet she will spill things if she uses it on James.

    Good morning BBU,

I have not been as invested this year as previous years. Life sometimes just gets in the way coupled with my inability to really connect to this cast. I've been following BBU but haven't watched hours and hours of feeds like I used to. I am looking forward to the All Access game, hoping it recharges my love of BB.

Just going to throw out my own thoughts of this game.......... It is a game of lies and manipulation. To play it you have to walk in the door not only being prepared to lie, backstab, manipulate but accepting that everyone else is going to do it to you. Your one and only true ride or die has to be yourself.... do you hear me Cody, Memphis etc? If we look back at those who are considered masters of the game they all have that in common. Some were very brazen about it...Dr. Will flat told everyone he was lying...some had much more finesse with their manipulations .... Yes, Dan, still love you, Derek as well...some were so obnoxious and in your face.....Evel Dick and Boogie (I don't consider them masters, but used as example of the obnoxious who won). No one, not players nor viewers, should be shocked, disappointed or angry at "being played" THAT IS THE GAME!

I would love to see a season of older players, or at least a house equally split with groups of 20 somethings, 30, somethings, 40+ somethings. Honestly, I'm quite tired of having the Kens and Barbies who just want air time with their hopes and dreams of stardom.

Yep, you are right about the lying. It doesn't look attractive when viewing it from the outside, but it's the way to maneuver through the game.

I agree, get older people in the game! Not just token, but a good share of the cast. And, people who know the game, too. No showing them previous seasons in sequester, let them come into the game knowing it already.
And all strangers to each other. And no relatives to previous casts.

I totally agree! That line about being played is perfect.

I also agree on the ages. Now a days, you get maybe one or two early 30 somethings and that is your "older" crowd. Maturity could make for some really interesting gameplay, not to mention that people in 30s 40s 50s are more set in their ways, so I don't think it would seriously lack drama. Who remembers Renny? lol. But I bet there would be less of the under covers grossness, also a big plus.

If we could AT THE VERY LEAST stop casting people who come through agents, that would be a great start.

Hi, everyone. I don't care who wins this year, but I feel bad for James, a lot of it just because he knows he made bad mistakes and has to live with that, and he probably feels worse for what he did to Natalie's game. As for Paul and Victor gloating and being rude, that's nothing more than poor sportsmanship. Reminds me of Enzo of the Brigade, and I could. not. stand. him at all. They should be better than that. I think they will be F2, though.

Just catching up and just watched last night's episode this morning. I was very touched by the tears from the Ducks, to me that shows me there are some good guys in there somewhere. I love Paul, but think I'm rooting for Victor more now. I'm disappointed though to hear that they are being rude and mean, what's the point of that? At this point in the game they have an opportunity to win without stooping to that. Hoping they remain Ducks and not D!cks!

        Good morning BBUers.

I can't even begin to tell you all how happy I am for the Ducks. *quack* *quack*

Kudos to Michelle for calling out Nicole and saying she has *FLOATED* her way to the end. (Yes she said FLOATED)

Now, on to my ducks. I have been pulling for Victor since day one (go back and look). I have also pulled for James since day one. I was anti-Paul since day one. I said back when Jozea was evicted that they better get rid of Paul next or he would be F2. I hated Paul. And now I am pulling for him to at least take F2. Either of Paul or Victor winning is what I want.

Paul and Victor "shunning" James and Natalie....I don't like it but I understand it. I'm not into shunning no matter who the people are. It always makes me feel sorry for someone I don't want to feel sorry for. Say what you gotta say and be done with it. With that said, as far as Paul and Victor are concerned, twice they put their faith in James and he "boned" them, especially Victor. And conversely, Nicole and Corey have spent this season in a bed somewhere in the house more concerned with each other than the game everyone else was playing for half a million dollars. WE know Nicole has been pulling strings and spreading rumor and lies, but they don't. And they are the ones inside the house playing the game. They are going on the information they have. Natalie and Michelle have certainly spent a few weeks talking smack about Paul and Victor. To the VICTOR goes the spoils. (Hehehe)

          Yes! *Quack* *Quack* !

I also hated Paul in the beginning (gosh remember the week after Victor left the first time?!) and he is now my full on favorite. I like Vic, but I am also of the opinion that he has already been evicted, twice. It might be old school, but that makes me think he is actually less deserving. Plus, I'm brains (strategy) over brawn (comps) and not a fan of the 'comp beast obvious threat' game that Vic has played (and that has gotten him evicted - twice).

Anyone else getting the the end at this point will be a disappointment for me, except maybe Nicole, but only because I would love to see her face when she loses in a unanimous (that's right she doesnt even get Corey's) vote. haha.

          Hey Linden,

I went back to listen and heard Meech's float comment, but another site said there was discussion after the show where the part CBS had silent that Meech said the other nasty word. I was basing my posts last night off that.

And as much as I'm on the James train, Victor or Paul truly do deserve to win this season since they played the most complete games. I do remember you liked Vic from the start He definitely has overcome the most odds and did it in dominating fashion. The past few weeks he also has improved how he plays socially. I wonder ... do you think 'when' he returns for an All Star season if he would try to play more of a social game and not beast it to lower his profile? Unlike Janelle (who I loved btw) I think he could pull off playing more socially and not having to win all the time

      • #9
Morning all. I'm with Geo...excited for Victor and want him to be the winner. But not happy about Nicole being safe.

I love my BBU James fans and I feel your pain (he's a nice guy), but IMO he finds himself in this spot because of his own choices. If you make decisions and they aren't the right ones, then you at least have the satisfaction of going out proudly. He alone decided to give that HoH to Nicole last week. And he decided not to talk to Nicole at any length about the vote. I understand his reasons...I truly do. But Nicole is easily shaken, and a few well-placed words from James could have fanned the flames of doubt about Paul/Victor. We saw how easily she became paranoid over a simple act of Victor following Michelle into the bathroom. Nicole is easily spooked, and James decided not to work on her paranoia in case it backfired. And that was his right and his decision.

So now he has to deal with his choices, win PoV and either let Natalie go to jury OR he wins PoV then spends some time convincing Paul to vote the replacement out.

That's how you play BB...I hope James plays hard.

My feeling is yes, James is in this position because of his choices but his choices are based on the way he lives and understands life. He is the only one of the remaining hamsters I would be interested in meeting when the show is over with Nat being #2. Don't get me wrong, I like Victor and have most of the season but I do not like the 3rd grade mentality and piss on you attitude he gets when he is around Paul. Paul is entertaining but that is it. Paul is a loud mouth who doesn't seem to respect anyone including Victor. The other two seems to enjoy their hand games under the bed covers only coming out to spread lies, rumors and innuendo. Most of all, I wonder how the bed games and the way they acted this summer will influence the baseball coach and the emergency room nurse in their future employment chances? Makes me wonder.

Pukahs- Eh, I don't think that anything Nicole or Corey did in BB this summer will influence their careers at all. It's not like they were April and Ollie, having sex all over the house only half covered at times. NiCorey's covered heavy petting sessions are only really accessible to people who want to see it (doubt their bosses are feedsters) and I don't think many people would be surprised that a couple of 20 somethings stuck in a house together all summer hooked up a bit.

And I think it's important to remember that Big Brother is not real life. Being in the house and playing this game (presumably to win) gives you permission to do things you normally wouldn't do in life. Manipulate people/situations, lie, make promises you intend to break, start rumors. These things can all be gameplay, and have been celebrated in the house when used well, so I think most people know that just because someone may do these things during a game where they're trying to win $500,000, it doesn't necessarily reflect on their character outside the house to any substantial degree.

I am watching last night's show, we had football (said like it's a dirty word). How screwed up is Michelle's head? She screamed "I knew it!" when Victor said, "In an alliance with Nicorey". Well, dumb@55, you just put him up on the block and caused him to be voted out, what did you think? That he would stay loyal to you after that?
And her grabbing Pablo on her way out, low class. I hope BB gives him back to Paul. They aren't supposed to steal from each other. I hope after this season that we never ever ever see her again. Or Nicole. Or Corey.

And I thought it would have been funny if Michelle hadn't meant it in such a mean-spirited way. It's the motive of the heart that changes it.

Although I'm not rooting for James to win the game, I am hoping he wins the veto so that Nat goes. I think she is actually a bigger threat than James. Vic is really the only one that wants James out first. Paul, Nic and Cory would prefer that Nat goes.

Agree. I would much rather James stay than Natalie. James has pulled some stupid plays out of his behind this season but can't help but love the guy. Not hating on Natalie, just prefer James to her.

Nic Nic why deny your F4 with James and Nat at this point. Just makes you look shady to the ducks and deserving of the snake references. This will come back to bite you 😃👍😃👍

Only an idiot {which Vic ain't} would think it was their [NiCorey's] winning personalities that kept them off the block under Nat/Meech HOH. Meech or Munch would have loved to have been the one to put Nicole on the block, but then we would be stuck with Pie back in the house, since Corey fell so early. At least James wouldn't have given the HOH to Nic.

So, Paul says that 3 different times Michelle threw things at him *out of anger*. Why didn't BB eject her from the game? Once was a bottle and once was an apple (and it left a welt on his back). He says that if either had hit him in the face it would have been bad. Again, if this is true, why wasn't she ejected from the game?

I remember seeing that on the show. Michelle was crying and crying over how she hit him in the kidney and it could have hurt him and he was comforting her and saying it was OK. He sounds like Natalie, things are OK at the time but later on when she wants to use the incident against you, she does. Understandable, I guess. The show has let much more abusive situations develop and do nothing, though.

i just think BB needs to make rules and set standards. Then uphold them. Michelle or whoever the guilty party is should be ejected from the game.

And I didn't take it as Paul "using it to his advantage" so much as a conversation about how she is lead by her emotions to say/do things then she is super sorry. Sometimes sorry just isn't enough. She needs to learn that.

Well, I certainly agree it's not good behavior for the house.

Wish she had thrown her microphone in the pool a la Chima, but she would have had to find it first. Hope they give Paulie and Bridgette some security protection from her. She really has a lot of anger management issues to work out. For someone looking for employment she sure hasn't shown a very professional side, when potential employers do the media lookup on her. I can understand Paul making you angry but throwing missiles at him is little kid stuff. Very miserable person.

Obviously my Crystal ball is cracked since had thought Nat might win. Came close, but one look at Vic near robotic/all business concentration and knew no one would beat him. Hate on Nic and Corey all you want, but looks like they'll make it to the Final Five so their game has worked. Luck, yes, but they also took advantage of opportunities like initially linking with Paulie, then riding the James/Nat train, then buying the transfer to Vic/Paul. They're apparently playing for second place at best, but their serpentine game has gotten them further 9 other players.

Did have a chuckle when Natalie said, maybe we should have kept Paulie. Nicole said same thing to Corey day before. The thought was quickly dismissed, but bet they wish they had that meat shield now.

If Nat goes this week than Paulie will have a full Monty of suffering in Jury with 5 women. But he could 'enjoy' the irony that his final five was there, but just with Nicole in his his place. I'm sure he'll brag how he was the architect. That's of course if Michelle hadn't smothered him in his sleep.
