I like how James talked about his game to the live feeders yesterday. At least he knows some of the stuff he did was off.

Find it it hilarious that Paul was talking to Vic about his reasons he should stay.

Corey is showing that he really knows how to play the game and is starting to play when necessary to save himself. I don't want him to be in F2 with Nicole because I believe he would tear her to shreds. As much as she has annoyed me this season that would be heartbreaking.

Corey finally woke up and smelled the money. I think he has finally caught on as to how to really play the game now that the end is in sight and he realizes that he has a chance to actually make it to F-2. They all do. But IMO, it took Corey all this time to learn this game and that you have to play with little to no emotion - I also believe that he is sick of Nicole "feeling bad" and he's tired of hearing her whine about it. I would actually love to see anyone but Nicorey in the F-2, but if they DO end up in those F-2 chairs, I would thoroughly enjoy watching to see how emotionless Corey would be towards Nicole, or just to see if he WOULD act that way towards her and fight for the win (in F-3 even!) It would be interesting. I don't know, seems to me that Nicole is majorly putting on the "I am sooo sad" act and more, just to win AFP.

Maybe, he is smart enough to want to put Nic on the block, since he has no real feelings for her.

It's not how feels about Nicole, but how SHE feels about him if they make it to final three. He needs to have people to take him to final two. He's got James and Nicole. Think of Derrick with Cody and Victoria.

Lexie, I just made a donation for your work at the keyboard the last two days! Thanks so much! I'd never know what was going on if it weren't for you and the other hard workers who keep us updated. Thanks to all of you who do that.

I've had to swallow a lot of what I thought through most of the season: Corey does not appear to be a Great Dane, laying around on the beds like a large dog all summer, Muskrat Sam has awakened after Muskrat Suzie left the house having had a summer of twittering at each other, and Victor, Oh, Victor. You have made it plain to me that in the end you don't know what the game is about. 'You wouldn't have done it to them', 'You thought it was a real F4' (never mind you just established that last week, near the end of the game.) 'You will win the 500K if you are in F2', and 'You have won a million comps this year and that's a record'.

Next year, can we not have any Barbie and Ken dolls who don't know the game? How about everyone over the age of 30 so they might have something else on their minds? (Like, maybe the game?) Don't let anyone in who wants summer camp. Put only people in who demonstrate at least a little bit that they can be strategic , and not 'play emotionally'. How many times have we heard 'They play emotionally' this year, from just about any of them who play emotionally themselves?

I don't know who I want to win this year; I don't even know at this point who I DON'T want to win this year.

OK, rant over. Thanks for the venting area.

Your rant and the entire post echo my thoughts on this season. I do not know who I want to win. I think I want Victor to win the POV so Paul can leave. I think Paul has played a better game and deserves to be there over Victor, but I do not like him as much.

Really want to thank CBS for your technical difficulties last night messing up your paying customers' evening. Guess we won't see a refund for lack of service. I'd donate that quarter to BBU! (GURR)

Watching the end of BBAD and must say that James looks more relaxed and happier since Nat left. Knowing you're good to get to Final Four and that everybody wants to date you helps too.

So funny that the Ducks think James is the Master Mind behind Corey's choice. Sorry guys, this was all Corey.

Also chuckling over their secret occupation dumps and there are as big duds as (oh my gosh) Bronte is a mathematician! Actually since she couldn't add and multiply, maybe that WAS a big secret?

Corey either comes from or makes some cash. Note that Nicole messes up a shirt he had on and he complained it cost $150. Honestly on camera looked like a Wal-Mart tee to me, nothing special. Also has said he has a money manager. Hmmm?

Well guess the unintended blackout prepares us for the upcoming blackout.

For some reason even from the beginning, the ducks have thought James was the mastermind of all game events. Paul really does not like James, Vic on the other hand gives him a pass on this blindside

Neither if them saw his season or they'd know better. Vic did have James as his original target, till he was convinced to flip to Nat, especially by Paul.

Border57 The only good thing about game virgins is that they break the rules and do unconventional game moves out of ignorance. Makes us smack our heads, but keeps us guessing. A year after Derrick steam-rolled through, Vanessa was knocked out at 3rd place. This year we have 5 possible winners all with a path to final two.

But their game ignorance IS so darn annoying, like Paul asking what a POV is or Vic still not aware that Jury asks them questions to determine their votes. He thinks it's just a game of counting coup, but is so much more complex. As Probst always points out, you must get those you helped get voted out to vote for YOU to win the money.

And every season the mix changes, so one year a slick player like Derrick can slip under the radar and win and another year an obnoxious loud mouth like Evil Dick wins. So the trick is to be able to read the other players well enough to get to final two (or three) and be able to nimbly plead your case. And at the start of the game who would have ever thought that Steve would be the guy to beat last year??

The casting people do need to get a better balance of players so we get some wisdom and life experience mixed with brash youth. I just went mentally over this cast and realized not one of them was married, not even Glenn. Only 2 had kids. Goodness knows, it is fun to look at attractive people, but when they open their mouths I wanna hear more than 'I dunno' or f-bombs.

So, we'll see how BBOTT casting goes. I'm am curious, but they gotta have some real goodies to keep us hooked.

Oh, I'm hooked, anyway, but I sure like to complain about, well, everything!

It just seems like with all the people they have to choose from, more should know the game and act like it. This fall season should be interesting because it will be shorter, and that might shake things up a bit.

The ducks claim to know little about the game, saying they didn't watch full seasons while in sequester but last night I really wondered about this. Their conversations about what other players in different seasons did made me think they know more about the game than they say. Yet their questions/lack of knowledge makes one think they don't know game, is this yet another ruse?

Dang ... James honest profile was a bit much last night when he told about his 3-some with Survivor Rodney (Hot Rod) a stripper and himself in a dirty $45/night hotel. I have to agree with Nic when she said "I don't get it, I would have never expected thaaaaat". Both Corey and Paul, although laughing, seemed a bit dismayed as well and admitted "have you? ... never". Some honest comments need to stay in the closet as his good ol boy luster has slipped quite a bit.

      Just some random game thoughts:

During the dull days after Veto ceremony and eviction day, have a weekly treasure hunt for players and fans. The HGs get a clue for a prize like cash, gift cards, game or concert tickets or a movie date and fans can submit entries to win matching gift. It could be hidden card or riddle solving. It would break up the monotony like the Paris room event did. Also it could be like the Paris room clue, just flashed occasionally on screen at random times and days, so HG s would have to be on their toes to catch it.

Also, they are dying to sing and I'm sure there's a list of non-licensed songs like hymns, spirituals, kids songs and even the National Anthem they could be allowed to sing. They could even do sing-a-longs by posting the lyrics on the screen. Then allow them to sing the songs from the approved list if they feel like busting a move. Of course we'd probably get sick of Row Row Row Your Boat, but better than Stop Singing and Stop That admonishments.

Occasionally give them a movie night, but show them old black and white classics from the 30's or even from the silent movie era. Too many think movies began with the first one they ever saw. Let them experience Charlie Chaplin, Marx Brothers, Busby Berkley, Jimmy Cagney or Fred and Ginger and widen their movie horizons. It could give them a couple hours to just relax and have some fun. It could also give them something to chat about.

Well, curious to see how they will work the fans in with BBOTT. It sure contributed to screwing up Paulie' s game this season, but didn't help Nat or Meech.

Morning everyone...oh, wait...it's afternoon here. Oops. I've got a few questions in my mind so it helps if I type them out.

      1. For real, why would James want to go to F3 with Nicole and Corey? They've stated that they will take each other. James stated that he has 0% chance of going to F2 with them unless he wins.

I get that he thinks Nicole and Corey are easier to beat in comps than Paul and Victor, but are they? Nicole can win mental (and possible physical) and Corey is a sleeper. I think Nicole/Corey might be harder to beat than Victor/Paul. And at least with Victor and Paul he stands a small chance of convincing one of them to take him F2. And I think he has a better chance of beating Victor or Paul in the Final HoH Part 3 Jury Statements if he got there. Neither Victor or Paul really know how the game plays out at the end.

ESPECIALLY in the upcoming comps...Nicole knows her days and facts.

If the Final HoH Part 1 Endurance comp is an endurance comp that James can win, then neither Victor/Paul or Corey will beat him. Only Nicole has a chance at those smaller people endurance comps.

      Next question:

      2. If Nicole and Corey make it to the F3, will Nicole be able to convince Corey to throw a comp to her the way that Vanessa convinced Liz? I bet she tries.

Okay...I'm out for the day. I'm still pulling for Victor, though...hope he can pull out this Veto. #TeamVictor

I think last night is a good example of how Victor rolls in his real life He is a control freak in a big way He cant even understand why anyone would want to disappoint him. I think he is a good man but its not all about Victor. He should not be surprised at people coming after him with his ability to win so many comps. He thinks that the game should evolve due to his needs like adding a another twist to insure his safety. Hope not he needs to learn he is a people too and you cant control everything. Paul game play to me hasn't been that much different than Natalie he has tagged along with whatever resource he best thought suited his game, in most cases staying closer to Victor to reap the fumes of his success. Anything can happen in this next couple of days, depends a lot on the comps and who is able to strike first. I think Corey made the absolute right decision for his game.

Vic is a true Taurus, loyal and hard working, but stubborn. I was raised by two of them and have had Taurus friends. Let's say they don't get my more laissez-faire point of view about life. Helpful and generous with themselves, but do not like to have their often unsolicited advice disagreed with. But I do appreciate their many excellent qualities, but just don't tell ME how to live my life-grin.

This is exactly why I want him out now. He constantly talks about winning comps. Granted he is a beast, but it's dumb strategy. In this game it gets you sent packing. He didn't learn the first two times so maybe a third will be the trick. You have to adapt to the game, the game will not adapt to you after already giving you two extra chances.

If you sit thru Nat's interview with Jeff, you get to hear a cute interview with Jordan. Reminds me why we love her - she is what she is with no artifice. Simple, sweet and wise all in a package with an adorable Southern accent. She and Jeff still have that chemistry where he adores her and she has his number, but loves him any way.

Re Nat, I was tuned into her telling America how kind and genuine she is for the umpteenth time. But she did say a few times that she has chemistry for James and seems to want to give it a try being a couple outside the house.

Figures tonight we have ZERO problems with feeds and the only thing on is the Big Jeff and D show.

I'm started watching the classic Hawaii 5-0 on All-Access. It's got corny performances and not too bad stories, but the best part is watching McGarrett's hair. The only thing that moves in the island breezes if that little tuff in front. (Not to mention the suit and tie on the beach.)
