I decided to put this here for tracylou and anyone else that is wanting to grab screenshots when doing Live Feed Updates.
Operating Systems: Windows XP and earlier
Push the PrtScn or the ALT+PrtScn (Print Screen) buttons at the same time. This will save the screenshot to your clipboard (no kind of notification will pop up). Open Paint or another photo editing program and use the Paste button to copy the screenshot into that program. Then you can go ahead and use that program to crop only the part of the screenshot that you need.
Operating Systems: Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 & 8.1, Windows 10
There is a program/tool called a Snipping Tool (I add/pin it to my task bar so it's easy to access). Open it and then click "New". Your screen will turn white. Use the big plus sign/crosshair pointer to highlight the part of the screen you want to capture. You must hold down on the left mouse button until you have the full capture because as soon as you let up on it, the capture will be created and pop-up (if you mess up, just X it out and it will ask you if you want to Save the capture and then click No and start again). Then use the File >Save As to save the capture/file in a certain place so you will know where it's located (i.e. Pictures or create a folder named Screenshots, etc...) or you can click on the picture of the disk to Save it.
Operating Systems: Apple Mac
I've never used a Mac but got these directions from Bing:
Each type and kind of smartphone and tablet (Apple, Android, Windows, Samsung, HTC, etc...) have different ways of taking screenshots so check your phone's manual or look it up online. Most are something like pushing the "Home" & "Volume Down" buttons at the same time. Photobucket does have an app you can use to easily add your photos there (I've never used it as I always do mine on my computer so can't tell you anything about it).
Adding your screenshots to Big Brother Updates
You will need to add your photos to a free photo sharing website like Photobucket or a new one I found is Imgur. After you've uploaded it there, you will click on the IMG (Image) link. On Photobucket you just click on it and it will automatically copy it and then you paste that link into your post. Keep the photos dimensions at 400 x 400 pixels or less. You may need to use photo editing software (Paint, Adobe Photoshop, etc...) to resize your photos before you upload them to the photo sharing website. Photobucket does have editing tools on their site that you can use to resize too. Remember when doing screenshots that CBS does not allow us to take and/or post any screenshots of nudity. As long as all the goodies are covered, you're good to go.

- Press Command (⌘)-Shift-4.
- You'll see that your cursor changes to a crosshair pointer.
- Move the crosshair pointer to where you want to start the screenshot.
- Drag to select an area.
- To adjust the area, hold Shift, Option, or the Space bar while you drag.
