    Good morning everybody.

Who will be moving in next door? That's the only thing I care about right now.

Oh and Memphis is HoH so it will be a predictable week.

Ian probably went out where he deserved to go out. He's good at calculating odds and he can be good at comps in a pinch, but in his season it was largely the arrogance of Boogie, Frank and especially Dan which got him to the end, with a little help from the lady coaches since Boogie didn't really have the time of day for him.

He didn't exhibit a Big Brother champion's people skills in his first season and he didn't step up in this season. That is very understandable given his personal challenges ... but it is what it is. He wasn't well suited for Big Brother and Dan getting super careless with jury management is why Ian won the first time.

Cute, I think you are right. I honestly didn't see Ian winning his season. He did win a lot of comps towards the end, but I'm surprised he even came back this year. He has said he wanted to prove he's a good player and deserved his win, but I don't think he did that. I was glad that he was happy to find out there was another alliance in the house so he didn't feel so bad.

I hope Memphis does more than just put up David and Kevin. I'd like to see some change. How about putting up Enzo. Enzo is playing a good game, how about "clipping" him. (I hate it when Enzo says "clipping", so I'll use it for him!).

Why is Cody wanting to keep David?

Hey Border57, I was thinking the same about why Cody wants to keep David. Does he think David is unlikeable? Maybe he thinks he could beat him in final 2. He's messing up, if so. Because IMO if David makes it to F2, I think folks would give it to him cause he was basically a little fish amongst sharks. And another reason for people on the cast to prove that they aren't the racists that viewers may think that they are. We shall see! Cody already showed in his previous season that he can't read a jury, cause if he could, he would not have taken Derrick. I'm probably way off the mark, but its something to think about.

I went back and watched that convo again. Cody thinks David is no threat and it would be a waste to get him out. He wants Davonne and Kevin up at the same time so that one of them goes home. He said several times that it would be a waste to send David home. I guess I can understand it now.

How does Enzo get away with his one on ones with everyone? I've noticed that if anyone else has private convos, the others zero in on them, thinking they are scheming. But Enzo flitters around and whispers into everybody's ear all the time, and nobody suspects a thing. How do they not catch on to him?

Guys, I had an epiphany this morning. This is All Stars. Since they didn’t bring in stars, they’re just gonna show us all stars on the feeds.

            😬

Well, just another boring week where either Kevin, Day, or David will go home. Wrap it up, it's done.

I'm curious as to why Dani didn't use her power last night to play in that HOH. There are a few people in that house who know she has that power. This could have hurt the alliance in the end if one of the outsiders had won the HOH. Once the rest of her alliance finds out she had that power, they will turn on her for not using it. This is just giving someone like Tyler and Memphis ammo to go after her. Just use the damn power, fess up to it (unlike David), and go out and compete. She is supposed to be the ultimate competitor right? So far she won an HOH that was handed to her basically. I think Dani came out of that week very poorly and not using the power was just the icing on the crap cake she baked as HOH.

I see people asking why Cody is trying to get David to stay this week. The answer to that is simple. David is a guy that Cody can "bro" out with. Cody rightfully feels like he could manipulate David more than he can Day and Kevin. It's in Cody's best interest for Kevin or Day to go this week. The funny thing is, this puts Nicole on the outs again with the alliance. Nicole should want David out more than Day or Kevin. Same with Dani. Even if David is on the block this week, I don't see him talking to Julie.

The only possible excitement we have this week is Day and Kevin go on the block, David is chosen to play POV, wins POV, and takes down Day. Now Memphis has to put up someone he is close with. Will he nom a Committee member, or will he nom Enzo (who he has been working on bringing into 2 separate final 3s)? I think he'll talk one of the Committee members into sitting up there against Kevin and Kevin will go home on a 5-2 vote. Still not exciting, but it's the most we can hope for.

Doesn't really matter if Day/Kevin/David come down, because anyone that the Committee puts up is safe, and D/K/or D will go to Jury.

BTW, David talking to Kevin this morning didn't say he was ready to go to Jury, but he said he'd accomplished what he thought he needed to. Sounded like he doesn't care what happens a whole lot right now.

Question is does Dani still have the power now and if she does that mean that the only way she can use it is to let Memphis play again next time?

          • #9
I think that Dani had enough, and Davonne and Nicole and Cody are the only ones who know about her power, none of whom would burn that bridge with her. If Day or Kevin had won, she would have been safe. David was the only real threat that she was going on the block.

All the action this week will be who goes up, and who gets voted out. We'll know the nominees in a few hours. In a shoot out, Davonne vs Kevin, I think Kevin goes. If it is between Day and David, not sure how that stacks up, but Enzo likely becomes the deciding vote, which would probably mean Day gets the boot, to follow Cody's preference.

Memphis gets big style points. Cody already new this whole plan, including the parallel group with Xmas, and Enzo in the middle. Presenting it to Enzo as him being in the core with Memphis, was pretty smart. And naming both alliances the same is a BB first. So, cudos to him. If they let him get much farther down the track, he is likely to be able to make himself safe until the end.

Still hoping his nom speech is "I nominated you David and Davonne, because someone has to go".

I agree that I don't think Dani wanted to win HOH again, but I thought she should still use her power. Had an outsider won, Nic or Cody would have sold her out and blamed her. Nic and Cody only really care about themselves. If they had gone on the block this week, you bet you butt they would blamed her. Of course, that would have required one of the outsiders to win, and the odds weren't on their side.

Memphis is probably playing the best game right now. I really liked his convo w/ Ian where he just flat out told him I'm voting you out. Ian probably respected that too. He also doesn't need constant hand holding as an alliance mate. He doesn't go and give constant reassurance either. He made the alliance, and it's the alliance. Deal with it. I like that. Make the plans that first week, then just roll. Most of these people need reassurance every single day. I wouldn't be able to work with people like that.

First of all, I am so happy you are posting again. I always love reading your posts. I do have a question @ KeninVA, Memphis was talking with David and they made a deal, David doesn't use POV, and he won't go on the block. Memphis also stated he knows people are giving information out, which he doesn't like. Do you think he might go after Dani and Nicole, or some variation using them to get one of them out?

NYGIANTSLOVER56 Memphis removing David as a threat in the POV was actually pretty smart and I did not see that move coming. While Nic or Dani might be the pawn, I would expect that the other outsider would be booted anyway. It's not like they are big competitive threats. I would be surprised if Tyler were the replacement. I think Memphis wants two more outsiders removed, before the internal blood letting starts. Cody would not vote out Dani/Nic this early, which would bring Enzo along, Nic/Dani would not vote each other out, and Xmas has been all about the committee, so I suspect she would not vote out this early. Tyler is a wild card, but I don't think he would vote nic/Dani out after they saved him last week.

Memphis has been busy setting up his Final Four, Cody, Enzo and Christmas. Enzo and Christmas are both F2 with him from convo this morning, but it seems like he's good with Cody for a "real" F2. He told Christmas that he doesn't want Tyler around, says he'd lose with Tyler at the end.

Memphis told someone, maybe Dani, he wants tyler out at 8, which would make him the first boot out of the committee, which may give Kevin or Day a leg up in staying until the end game. I think Memphis is most worried about David as a competitor, and he is not worried about "needing someone to make the hard noms". Memphis doesn't think nominating anyone will be hard to do, and I suspect, in this season, he may be right. Being upfront with people on the way out will get more votes. Look at how Ian reacted when he found out Nicole was in a bigger alliance. He was happy to have been voted out by a coordinated strategy, and he will not hold what Dani and Nic did to him against him

          • #11
Has Christmas given up on Tyler or is she just covering her bases with the Wise Guys alliance? Also will Enzo tell Cody about the F2 with Memphis. Seems the big alliance is already imploding quietly.

I would much rather see Memphis go sooner than later. As for Christmas, I would imagine she's just covering her bases. Seems like when anyone asks you to be in an alliance in this game, the auto reply is usually yes LOL

I've decided my goals for the game:

                "anybody but Nicole or Cody"

Because $@*# Derrick and his attempts to win again vicariously through those two. His game plan screwed our season.

I agree. I could handle a final three of Memphis, Enzo, and hate to say it Christmas. In that scenario I believe that Memphis would have the best chance against Christmas. I really like And I this season.

Well Day and Kevin on the Block. I expect we'll see Kevin doing a lot of moping. Kind of sucks it comes on a birthday, though.

Maybe he'll be okay. He's pretty used to being on the block. Maybe he'll be resigned and relax with it a little.
