  • Big Brother 23: New casting director gives update on BB23 applications

In case you hadn't heard, Robyn Kass has quit the show and the new Casting Director is Jesse Tannenbaum. He is also the Casting Director for The Amazing Race & Survivor. Jesse is helping to put together the Big Brother 23 cast and has posted some new information about the application process.

Jesse posted on his Instagram, writing, “The Casting Team starts Feb 15th. We watch every submission that comes in. Looking forward to a great season!!”

For anyone who hasn’t heard about it yet, CBS laid out a new policy for how casting will work for its reality competition shows. The casts for Big Brother, Survivor, and The Amazing Race are now going to be at least 50 percent people of color.
Jesse Tannenbaum is the Big Brother 23 casting director and he posted an update for people hoping to be on the BB23 cast for summer 2021.

Just a little side note: Jesse Tannenbaum is the one who cast Big Brother: Over The Top (the online only season) that most argue, along with Season 1, is the best cast season ever!

I saw on Twitter the other day that Robyn Kass is working for Big Brother Canada now. She cast this latest season (9) which just started 9 days ago on March 2nd!

Now that CBS All Access has changed to Paramount Plus, there's rumor that there may be a Big Brother: Over The Top Season 2 which would air in the Fall! Again, this is just a rumor as of right now. In case you don't know or don't remember, Over the Top is an online only edition. You actually get to see more live action, more competitions live and get to help make decisions by voting on different things. I hope it happens!

BTW, was just checking and as of right now Paramount Plus has the same pricing as CBS All Access, which is $5.99/month or $9.99/month for commercial-free viewing.

Basically... a premiere date has not been set yet but they plan on getting back to the regular schedule and premiering it in late June of this year!
Big Brother 23's production team is hoping to return to the show's typical schedule
