  • Big Brother 19- Houseguests- MEGAN LOWDER- 2nd (Self) Evicted

    Biography

    Megan Lowder
    Age:
    28
    Hometown: Cathedral City, CA
    Current city: Phoenix, AZ
    Occupation: Dog walker

Three adjectives that describe you: Cunning, smart, and beautiful because I'm confident like that.

Favorite activities: I play a lot of video games. I know this is not a dating site, so I don't think I need to make up a bunch of crap about how I love hiking.

I'm currently working on my racing license, so I can do rallycross. I've had to put a lot of that on hold due to me moving out of California, but as soon as I find a place that doesn't want $5,000 to teach me, I'm doing it.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house?
Not being able to talk to my family or seeing my dogs. I also over-analyze things. It's part of my training; however, it can get me into a lot of trouble because I have the tendency to get paranoid.

Keeping a healthy balance of both is going to prove to be a challenge.

I don't want to end up like Tiffany Rousso on Season 18.

Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most:
I love Frank Eudy from Seasons 14, 16, and 18! It was him against the house during both seasons, and he did a beautiful job of using his skills to his advantage.

Also, he seems like a total bro I would love to get a beer with.

I also love Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo from Season 18. They played one of the best games I've seen.

Do you have a strategy for winning the game?
    Oh, you know I do.

I would find the biggest guy in there and make him my gym buddy. Once we are allies, I would start gathering a strong team I know can win comps and keep them close.

After we start picking off the Houseguests we don't like, I would start spreading false info and make sure no one knows it came from me.

At the same time, there is always that whiny, crying girl that just can't handle the pressures of the house. I would make her my friend and my secret ally.

This is the only person in the house I will be loyal to. I'll take her to Final 2 and, since she didn't do anything the whole time, I'll win.

I will also play scared, I will never for a second think I'm safe, and, if people are talking, I want to be there.

My life's motto is… There are two guarantees in this life: taxes and death.

What would you take into the house, and why?
    - The entire Harry Potter series, so I would have something awesome to read when we have way too much down time
    - My laptop, so I can play Minecraft
    - My dogs. I don't know how I'm going to get by without them!

    Fun facts about yourself:
    - I can swear in five different languages, including Bosnian, German, French, Spanish, and English
    - I've seen every episode of South Park and I can quote most episodes

Megan Lowder is a 28-year-old professional dog walker who\'s prepared to do whatever it takes to win Big Brother, even if that means dancing with the Devil, crawling through honey, or eating slop. Don\'t miss the two-hour season premiere of Big Brother on Wednesday, June 28 at 8/7c on CBS and CBS All Access. Then, watch all-new episodes of Season 19 on Wednesdays and Sundays at 8/7c, and Thursdays at 9/8c on CBS and CBS All Access.

              ET Canada interview.

She worked at the prison (I take it the USA prison) in the Middle East. Wow!

After watching this K-Frog interview, I must say, I really like her a lot and am rooting for her!!! She loves her Mama and she's a cool down-to-earth girl (just like me except I'm a boy, LOL). I love down-to-earth, REAL people! I could see hanging out with her and having a great time! Go Megan!

Oh the irony of her pre-house interviews and what she did upon immediately entering the BB house. She states she will link up with the biggest bodybuilder type in the house, when in fact she did the direct opposite and sought out the people she believed would have been the outcasts (like her) from high school and forced them into a group. She TALKS a big game, but it's just talk. Look forward to either her or Paul walking out the door next week as the 2nd BB houseguest booted.

Megan Lowder: PTSD from previous assault reason she left the 'Big Brother' house early

Megan Lowder had high hopes for herself on the show, but her anxiety got the best of her and the Cathedral City graduate decided to exit the "Big Brother" house early, becoming the second houseguest to leave.

In an interview with The Desert Sun Friday, Lowder shared the reason behind her decision to leave the house early.

“When I was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, I was sexually assaulted and I got really bad PTSD from it,” said Lowder who served in the Navy.

“So in the house… I had a lot of guys yelling at me and attacking me and it started really affecting me and making my anxiety severe and I was starting to get physically ill. I was throwing up, I had diarrhea, I was nauseous all the time.”

News of Lowder leaving the home hit the internet Friday as live feed watchers, able to tune in Thursday evening, noticed her absence. Some houseguests were also talking about a brouhaha involving Lowder.

The voyeuristic show, in its 19th season, had a two-day premiere on Wednesday and Thursday, which both featured Lowder.

Fans just watching the pre-recorded televised shows though, won't see Lowder leave until the next episode on Sunday.

On Thursday's episode Josh Martinez is seen yelling at Lowder following the competition for "head of household." During that competition, Josh snags a golden apple which keeps him safe from elimination but takes his four-person team out of the running and vulnerable for elimination – a move many consider selfish.

When Lowder innocently asks who grabbed the golden apple, Josh unleashes on her calling her a "snake" and "bully."

“I don’t want nothing to do with you in this game. I love everybody but you. And I wanted to make it very clear … everybody has a good heart here and you’re a snake and a bully and I’m done with you,” he tells her.

Later in the day he calls her out again in front of everyone saying the way she plays the game is “disgusting” and accuses her of gunning for him. He later apologizes and she forgives him, but said she won't forget.

Then Cody Nickson, who wins head of household, nominates Lowder and Jillian Parker for potential elimination. He says he picked Megan just because he doesn’t like her.

“I have no idea still to this day, (I) do not know why he went after me like that,” Lowder said of Martinez. “Cody did as well and Mark (Jansen), but Mark wasn’t as bad.”

Lowder said there were a lot of rumors circulating as to why she left the show, including one false rumor about her making a racist remark
