It seems like it's the usual round and round conversations, save Christmas.

Wonder how she's really feeling with her foot/ankle?

I can't figure what Jason's game plan is. I've heard a lot of HG's telling him about the same thing, that he can't or won't make up his mind about anyone. It seems that way to me, but with all of the other HGs I'm not seeing everything he says to everyone.

Ramses seems like he's in a decent position right now, he seems to be laying low and not getting anyone upset with him.

But, Cody. Many are no happy with how he is playing, and I don't think any of them trust him now for anything, Jess is upset with him for not telling her anything. He doesn't have the social game many of the others do.

Jason is close to Alex. When alone they always say Christmas has to go.

Jason doesn't seem to realize that Cody was always going to try and backdoor Paul as soon as Alex won the veto, so Cody never did save him. But Jason is a newbie and maybe doesn't have the game smarts to realize that. But everyone has to have someone in the game, so Cody probably appeals to him. And all together now! "we just have to win the next HOH!" I thought this was going to be a drag for the first few weeks, but it turned around fast!

I think he sees through Paul. He is going to stay close to Alex and Kevin. Paul tells him he wants to work with him but his actions show otherwise. He sees that Paul is still tight with the other group. He knows that Christmas and Paul were not with them until Christmas was put on the block. I think he likes Paul and would not mind working with him. However, he does not appreciated Paul trying to strong arm him and trying to take over their group. He wonders why he should vote out someone that has beens friends with his outsiders and keep someone that was with the 9 person alliance

        Happy 4th all.

Is Ramses even talking to anyone? I saw just a glimpse of him and a brief glimpse of Josh yesterday. I guess they haven't been in the heavy discussions because their votes are a given, or in Josh's case no one wants to talk to him.

Ramses will vote out Christmas, but does anyone know who Josh will vote out? Does his vote even matter?

BettyBoo I agree 100%. I noticed what Kevin does a long time ago. It would really piss me off eventually lol. Ramses is kinda of playing a nice version of the snake game lol. Kevin is really hard to read. You should get smoother with age.😀

I feel for Ramses. It would be hard to play knowing that you have to put yourself on the block. Maybe going home not because of something you did but because he is the curse of Paul's temptation. I see him having short conversation with everyone but seems very awkward

IMO Jason Kevin &Mark are wild cards. Mark says he's keeping Christmas but there's a long time before Thursday and Cody will get in his head again.

But this could be a moot point depending on the findings of Chistmas injuries. BB can't take the chance of her injuring it worst and they can't design comps to accommodate her. Either way she isn't in a good position.

The question is if she has to quit are they bringing in someone? Will they count Christmas as the evicted HG and keep Jillian safe? I doubt Cody will have to nominate someone else. That would be so unfair to that HG. He or She wouldn't have the opportunity to campaign. We'll just have to wait til Wed.

I agree. I would have loved to see her compete in the competitions. But with her injury there will be many that she can not. How would you handle those. She would have to sit out in any physical ones or that would not be fair to the others.

I'm usually a lurker but have concerns about Christmas's injury. Although I like her - I do not like Paul or her association with him. As far as I'm concerned - they need to oust Paul as soon as possible and I thought that Cody was smart to try that. I can see him not telling his other alliance members because I think this group of people are pretty weak - except for Cody, Alex and Christmas when it comes to game play.

I worked in orthopedics for 30 yrs and can't wait to find out what the actual injury Christmas has. The only time that we ever put on a full cast is if there was a fracture. The only time we would cast and then use an ace wrap on it was if the swelling increased and we had to cut the cast into 2 pieces and then wrap it in an ace bandage to allow for additional swelling. The fact that she has to go back for an MRI makes no sense as tissue swelling does not affect an MRI. Had this been a ligament injury - they would have wrapped it and put her in a 1/2 boot splint to keep the lower half of the leg immobile.

If this injury keeps her from participating in any competitions whether it be veto or HOH - that alone changes up the game for everyone. Most minor-to-moderate injuries will heal within 2 to 4 weeks. More severe injuries, such as injuries that need a cast or splint, will need a longer time to heal, up to 6 to 8 weeks. That's way too long to keep her out of activities in the house.

Could the MRI perhaps be for surgery decision? Oh, see holiday affected MRI.

I thought she mentioned that the MRI was Wednesday because of the holiday weekend and not because of the injury itself.

If BB took her to the hospital, then why didn't they do the MRI then. Hospitals don't shut down for holidays. If anything, that's when they're busy.

I thought I heard Christmas say something where she has to go back Wednesday for the MRI and reading because 'nowhere was open' due to the holiday?

Did she have th MRI yet or will she have it Wednesday?
She probably had regular X-ray films, which would, depending on th films and the one reading it plus the injury, may or may not show any hairline fractures - the MRI would show those hairline fractures better, plus soft tissue and ligament damage.

If she has already had the MRI, she wouldn't have to leave the house just to hear the reading/ interpretation, as the radiologist will do that and file a report, which could be read to her when it comes in via the DR and BB medical staff.
however, if she has not had the MRI yet and will go for the actual test on Wednesday, it may still be another day or two before the radiologist reads and files his/her findings, but they can tell her that day what is seen.

I broke my knee bone last October. I had MRI, was told MRI does NOT show bone, it shows everything else. They were checking out the ligaments and tendons. Regular X-Ray shows bone. I'm only repeating what the surgeon's said. I didn't Google it.

I completely agree with your assessment. At this point, I firmly believe Xmas is absolutely lying about the extent of her injury.

Although, based on Jason’s description of “it was sticking out of the bottom of her foot” and his vast experience of seeing many broken bones, I was thinking “compound fracture.” Now, I don’t think her injury was that extreme. Fracture, yes, Compound, no.

IMHO, Her 3 day follow-up explanation doesn’t pass the smell test. My guess is that she knows she has a fracture and they want the swelling to go down before setting the bone with a plaster cast.

I, as well as a lot of the BB Fandom on the internet, love Xmas. The main reason for evicting Xmas is that she is seen as a comp beast. This is no longer the case. Now, the best game move is to keep her.

Think about it. She is one less competitor in a physical or endurance comp. She is on pain meds, which will slow her reaction during a mental comp. In a crap shoot comp, who knows.
Would you rather go against her or Jillian who is 100%?

As you all should be aware, Xmas, and Jillian for that matter, are my F4 pick. I would prefer Xmas to stay, but if she has a fracture and is in a cast, she needs to be pulled from the game…”and the period.”

When I fractured my wrist they put a half cast and ace bandage on it for five days and then I went in and got a full cast. That's what I was thinking was going on. I don't think they needed to wait for an MRI

I have to add, Memorial weekend Saturday, my 57 year old husband fell and his ankle bone pushed through skin. Holiday weekend. Emergency surgery Saturday with plates and screws. Monday another surgery to repair the tearing. A wound specialist today for the second surgery. Hospitals don't close on holidays and neither does the MRI department. Also, he had to keep his foot elevated for weeks. He's still not allowed to walk on it.
Side note, I may kill him before he goes back to work.

Well, assuming her injuries aren't bad enough that she has to leave, there's some good reasons to keep her if you are on her side. She's a vote for you. She's also smart and will most likely do well in mental comps. She's an easy out later on any time because she won't win a veto if it's physical, and she also is a meat shield for her allies because she'll be an easier out, and because of her injury, she's not going to make it to the end, while before it was possible. So if you are on her side, she's more attractive to keep now than she was because she's not the competitor that she was.

Look at Josh: He may do great in physical comps, but the mental comps are going to be a bust for him. Which one is more valuable to allies?

The same applies to Jillian. I do not think she is going to win many comps but is a vote for her side of the house. If Christmas stays, she is not going to align with the outsiders. She will stay with the couples, Dom and Paul as long as she can.

      • #13
I'm going to lmao come Thursday morning after Xmas has her MRI & the lawyers get done hashing things out. I can see them pulling her from the BB house and NO eviction votes this week. Jillian stays in the house. All of the strong arming Paul has been doing to the other HGs to keep Xmas being for nothing. Just making some hate him more.

The sad part thou is Cameron. If Christmas wasn't so self involved and really thought of the damage to her foot, she should have exited the game & let Cameron come back in. Leaving Thursday screws Cameron. He won't be able to come back unless a buy back now.

My opinion on Christmas may not go along with many here. But I find her to be a selfish, self absorbed BEOTCH!! She is a classic BULLY. I would NEVER buy or support any product or service she is involved with. You may say she is just a strong, opinionated woman; I say she is s CLASSIC BEOTCH. And nothing anyone says can change my mind. I agree with Cody's assessment of her game wise. BEOTCH had to go!

They watch the last season while they're in the incubator and think they're an expert. Remember Paulie only knew Cody and Derrick's season and thought he was a game genius.

I've been wondering when Ramses has to put himself up as a third nom? If he can do it right before the vote? If Christmas and Jillian are still up on Thursday night, could sure be a good time to gamble and fulfill his curse obligation. He could say, I'm healthy, keep me and I'll work with you. It would sure make the vote interesting. Just a thought.

It's a good question but to me the question is when is it best to go up. Is it best when you have one of your side up on the block or when two from the other side is up. Lets say two couples are up then the rest of the couples would vote out Ramses and the outsiders would all have to be on the same page or Ramses is gone. Now if he were to put himself up now it would be one less person trying to vote out Christmas but if his team is prepared for it they would all vote out Christmas and you would have to hope the other side split the vote between him and Jillian.
