I think several of them are on to Paul. But for the time being he is willing to do the dirty work and "get blood on his hands." As long as he is getting out their targets for them, they are willing to let him slide.

Josh and Xmas have some risk of a Mark/Elena win in the HoH competition this Thursday. Elena knows what is going on, knows Xmas is a part of it, and may have enough skill to keep herself calm, and let others work to get Jess booted (which I think is going to happen). In Paul's brief convo to the feeds, he indicates that he is going to try to ride to the end with Alex and Kevin, and so he will be looking for opportunities to get Jason out, after Cody is dispatched (which is still his number one threat in the game). If Xmas wins HoH, he will probably have to let Elena go early. If Cody wins HoH, Raven is probably going to be in some trouble, though if Paul/Raven go up on the block, and Paul gets himself off, Xmas might find herself on a fast track to Julies couch.

This brewing fight between Josh/Xmas and Elena/Mark might work to boost Cody, as he remains a competition threat, and given a few more weeks in the house, becomes a risk for a competition streak to get him very far into the game.

The more Josh pushes the boot Elena theme, the more resistance is going to build up, with Josh finding himself down at the bottom of the food chain, and he will be the boot choice between him, and anyone else he is likely to be on the block with. In measuring an HoH, you always look to see if someone ends up in better standing in the house rather than worse. I think Josh is going to end up in a weaker position in the game, not stronger, when this week is over. IMHO.

Lol that Josh is semi* doing the same thing as Cody did with his nomination of Paul. - Do the opposite of what you alliance wants. 🙄 An emotional 😱 eviction vs a 🔪 surgically precise extraction☠ ❗️

BB is a dance 💃🏽 of numbers and 👫 weaving 👬 alliances 👭

Lol...on a silly side note, read that Raven is anxious 😟🤔 to get news re the success of one of her dance troupes... Evidently she won an award for choreography... and she said all excited,

"Ya, it was so well received, it went SEMI - VIRAL."

Morning all! Busy weekend, so I have no idea what's been going on, haven't even had a chance to watch last nights episode yet. Based on what I've read so far it looks like Jess will be going home this week, which works for me! We've seen Jess without Cody in the house, I'm wondering how Cody will be without her around this time. Happy Monday!

I also want to see Cody in there without her just to see what he does. Does he just isolate himself or will he try and re-team with Mark and Matt? Would he attempt a Paul partnership - I don't think Paul would go for that-but it definitely flips the script. Cody has not showed that he has anywhere close to an accurate read on the house. I don't want to see him go next week either, I want to see what he can do on his own.

It will be interesting to see Cody without Jess, I've noticed he's already starting to socialize more with the others. Like DisMom mentioned I think he will try to team back up with Mark but instead of Matt (who he feels betrayed by) I think his choice will be to work more with Jason. Jason already wants to work with Mark and he knows with Jess gone Cody becomes more open to work with and he also knows Paul will need to go soon, so if Cody gets Paul out that brings Alex back closer to him (Jason). So I see a Cody, Mark, Jason alliance with Kevin as a fourth (since they all love Kevin)

Raven is a scam artist according to social media using her condition and it's costs to get money and use it for other things like dance studios and cars. There have been posters here with her condition that posts about it . Paul offen though trying to make it jokingly says right your fake disease and calls her out on it frequently. I see her eating frequently pizza ,ice cream ,and soda, last night she was eating raw cookie dough with cream . She also said in the posts to get money for her surgeries she throws up 14 times a day and I haven't seen her sick once in the house especially with all the junk she eats. She is pathological with her lying not just about her diseases also claims to be in MENSA.

Does Jess really want to leave or is she just resigning herself to it... I heard on an episode that she and Cody had a plan going into the haunted house comp, but I'm unclear what it is or was... ? Thanks. For any info! I

It's nice for them to say that they had a plan, but there was no way with all but Josh and Xmas playing to assure that Cody was go to win. Finishing last (and with a time of 15:00 seems like that was the limit) was pretty easy, but Cody still had to beat ALL the others to get safety. Jess played the plan as Cody is going to win and she was going to finish last so that that she was able to play Veto.

I think she is just resigned to it. Starting with the war Cody ignited during his first HoH, and her failed HoH, they have been constantly under attack (her perception, I continue to believe that much of this trouble is of their own making). The Ramses boot involved the same people approaching her now, telling her she has a shot. If they have conditioned you to be suspicious of them, and view some of the antics that were designed to "strip them of dignity", would you view their overtures as sincere?, or as a way to heap a little more indignity on to your shoulders as you head out the door. I think she is kind of over the BB experience, and while she probably wants to stay, she is not willing to sacrifice her view of herself to achieve it. I think it would take an extremely detached player, much more emotionally mature than Jess is, to overcome that mindset. Just my opinion.

Hi All. Ken is spot on in his assessments. Cody and Jess made food for everyone last night and Cody is integrating. Even exchanged words with Paul about pasts (Cody owned a food truck in Iowa).
Matt is showing his true colors and is in it to win the game . unlike his early pre strategy "I just want Raven to have the money and get to Jury." He would prefer Raven to go up as a replacement nom when Maven was talking yesterday. Raven seemed more angry with him and this might push her even closer to Paul. Matt / Maven is high on the boot list for Xmas, Alex group, and Cody if he wins so unless Maven start winning comps I think they're in trouble.
Paul is just showing too much his like , romantically and game wise , for Elena. This has caused him problems as we have seen with Josh Xmas. Even last night Paul didn't get up from the wave room to go with the group to sing Happy Birthday to Kevin at 12 because he was in there with Elena putting make up on his face and didn't want to move. That bought some more red flags from Alex and Josh who came in and asked why he didn't come sing Happy Birthday. Mark is obviously jealous. If Mark, Xmas or Cody win HOH Paul could be in trouble.
Elena was at first joking but then was pushing hard for Mark to use POV on her. I hope he realizes he is just getting used and ditches her. Josh is on to it too.
I think Jess is over her BB experience and wants to go home. The Jury money never meant anything to her it seems as if she makes 8000 easily . I think she's over the house, knows she can't win, doesn't want to be in Jury with the house, and can make more money has more friends at home. personally I don't think she wants to campaign against Elena they really like eachother. If Raven goes up we might see something . I'm ready to see Cody without her.
Anxious to see what happens with the POV. Paul wants Matt up there because he is protecting Raven but Maven agreed Raven would go up. So it's going to be interesting to see if Paul gets what he wants and if Matt realizes that Paul and Raven are going to take eachother.

Yeah she repeatedly said it's 8000, get a job. I don't think the other houseguests work or can make as much money as she does. They are just in it for a free ride for 3 months and to play grab ass as Kevin always says. I think they decreased the money from 12000 to 8000 too which is going to attract less people who actually work for a living and more mob mentality obnoxious mamas boys .

Most of the people who have appeared on the show over the years have probably had to quit their jobs to do it. How many employers do you know would hold a job for someone for 3 months?

That's my point. If cbs is going to give people only 8000 for 3 months, 4000 after taxes it's going to attract people who don't work and live with their moms, or scam artists hence the plethora of obnoxious mamas boys or Ravens delusions. You can't quit your job for 3 months (assuming you make it to Jury ) or even have enough to pay for your house and expenses while you are away so you can get another job when you get out. It's going to make more undesirable house guests and more people that actually have to work for a living want to quit the game or not even come on it.

unrelated to live feeds, but inspired by it.... I think it would be am awesome all-star season to watch if they pitted the master manipulators vs. the comp beasts. I'm sure many of them have moved on in their lives, but that would be an interesting experiment. If we could put together the dream teams, would you put on each of those teams?

Manipulators: Will, Dan, Derrick, Paul. Danielle, ED
Comp Beasts: Janelle, Cody, Rachel, Frank

I wonder if they would still be comp beasts it's been a while. Frank didn't do much last year. Would need younger ones, Cody this season and Derricks cody, McCrae , victor. Love the manipulators.need Vanessa and Samantha (Sam McCarae). I thought Nicole was pretty good both ways.

        I've not ..watched last nights show...heck.. I just finished last Thursday's.. ... tee-hhe..

Anyway,..before Thursday's show I'd been wondering how much work Jess would do to ck the live feeds/posts etc to discover how much (in her mind) Cody betrayed her in the wee first days of their blushing romance??

Well, all she now has to do is watch Thursdays show. OLED - QLED, it's all there baby. However all is for naught... since Cody is a 1000% a man of his word,

and ..YOU'RE loyalty..to..HIS supposed loyalty..is the foundation upon which he lives his life-..and uses as a bludgeon to get his way.

He could have just looked her in the eye and said, "Of course I said you were expendable... how else could I make it seem I was on their side. IT was the only way to protect you. They were building an army to go after he couples. Gosh.... if you don know me better than that,, how my loyalty to you.....

.... Ad nauseam of loyalty ensues... ..

I think it's kind of hard to find much Cody video that isn't Jess/Cody, heck they can't even get him to talk much in DR when he's being prodded for material. They should have some good stuff though for this week, seems like the Jody team is coming to life and socializing a little more. Too little too late though?

Codys toast if Paul or Maven win. Paul was just too good getting them ostrasized after he put him up. He can win and the house is afraid of that, the only ones that want him there are Kevin and Mark. Thing is I don't think he would win against any of them in final 2 becuse of the social, so he would be a great goat and can win comps if anyone can pick up on it. He often says he doesn't like the DR because they make him say things he doesn't want to. He definitely is not a clown for a tv show lol..

          I agree @Bbfanbb,

It WAS during the first few weeks, and he should NOT be held liable by his amour by these game actions. She got MAD when the guys semi-didn't tell her about these earlier comments. "I'm gonna go talk 2 him AND get the TRUTH......

She should have gone to him and said "how proud she was he was already using strategy in the wee hours of the games birth to protect her."

I think one reason why CBS showed that clip from an earlier, or the feeds.. forget which...

was BECAUSE he immediately --Loyally--Lied--1000%-- in Lieu of Loquacious Loving Levity.n.stuff.

Good Day All & Happy Birthday Kevin!

Remember my post Friday morning (August 4th):

Personally, I get it b/c I'm more of an alpha (SHOCKER) than a follower, so it's natural to want to lead. The problem is Xmas tries to insert herself in convos & better others stories which infuriates the others.

Mark my words, I won't be surprised if Xmas develops a bit of HOHitis off Josh's tenure & it back fires on her.

I'm sure, Xmas will try to stage something to keep Jess over Cody b/c that's her preference. BUT, based on Elena/Jess convo last night it's clear Jess isn't a Xmas fan anymore either. Since Elena repeated that convo to Paul, he'll inevitably tell Xmas or Jess will be rude to her & she'll fall back in line.

Still, I won't be surprised if Xmas becomes the Whistle Nut group's sacrificial lamb ahead of Maven & Josh especially after this week.

So, yeah we're well ahead of the Wednesday night meltdown & Xmas has already managed to get to that point as of Sunday evening. The most confusing aspect of her power play was how committed she seemed to be shifting the target to Elena. Yet, she made zero effort to talk Paul, Alex, Jason & Kevin into saving the power for a DE. Why bother wasting a power of that nature, make a scene which would shine a bright spotlight on her only to let the person you used the power to impede skate by?

So, why did she do it? Why waste the power? Why, do it knowing 2 more votes are required from the group of 6 dedicated to splitting Jody up and risk drawing ire from both sides of the house. Although it was Josh's HOH, Xmas had the direct line to him to shut down his Elena obsession immediately instead of fueling it. She could have chosen to save the power for DE or whenever. And, now today she's singing & swearing in the bathroom about Jody. Perhaps this is medication fueled. Certainly, this morning her rants are growing crazier by the minute as my last check of updates has her trying to convince Josh to put her on the block (presumably to prove a loyalty point & gain brownie points - but if she knew how many people wanted her out she would rethink that offer, but quick). Again I point you to my gut feel from the morning after HOH & all I can say is Xmas exhibits the need to be "the one". I kind of love that about her, but she sure won't win the game because of that very trait.

For his part Josh was walking around with his tail between his legs last night, trying to rekindle friendship with Marlena. This is why it never behooves any HOH to be overtly rude to their targets. As my Grandpa used to say the best way to get even with mean people or bullies is to KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS. Had Josh shown more compassion or empathy he might not need to be acting so nervous.

Still, don't be surprised if they try again Wednesday night or Thursday morning if only for TPTB to get last minute panic footage).

As for Jody - Kevin convinced Jason to walk & talk with Cody this morning to convince him to target the couples. They are the first to offer Cody an olive branch & there is potential for it to work (assuming Cody wins the next HOH & doesn't go after the 4-some). The problem is Cody REFUSES to target the couples over Paul (though he didn't tell Jason/Kevin that). I did find it ironic Jess told Cody putting Kevin on the block wouldn't work b/c he might honestly be the only player who could stay over Paul. (maybe there is substance in my earlier musings that Jess may be the rumored second person Paul knew prior). Moreover, she told Elena to stick by Paul as he would protect her over everyone else in the house. Odd choice for Jess to make given she says Paul is who she desires to have ousted while in her next breathe she plants the seeds he's playing the best game.

It won't matter if Cody refuses to play nice & in all likelihood it won't matter regardless b/c the only players not likely to take a shot at Cody are in fact Elena, Kevin & possibly Jason (only if Cody agrees to the deal prior to the HOH).

As for the remainder of the house the girls are playing true to form with their cattiness. Christmas wants Elena & Raven ousted. Jess had wanted Alex, Raven & Xmas targeted. Raven has issues with Elena, Jess & Xmas. Alex has issues with pretty much all the women (but at least Alex will play the most logically & strategic of the 4 remaining women). Alex & Jess recognized they were the strongest females from an overall game aspect (particularly when Christmas got injured) & they subsequently squared off in the female version of the Cody vs Paul standoff, pretty much from the first week.

Why can't BB ever find a group of women who recognize the power of female unity? Just once I want a season where that occurs with a group of 4 of more females who play from start to finish as bonded as males have on BB. I'm older, but I tell you I'd try to bond with the young ladies & have them recognize the men wouldn't know what hit them if they all stayed loyal & more importantly they could make history in the process. It's just a shame it never happens.

Christmas is now saying she wants to go up as a pawn and is acting loopy . She's all over the place. Her leg and meds really hurt her and the game. They should have sent her out. The houseguests say over and over she is never right when they put her on meds.
