Twist #3 - TwinTakeover - One house guest has a twin and they secretly switch in/out of the house, if they can survive the first 5 evictions they'll get to enter the game & compete separately.

Have to admit that my first thought was - oh, they got the same boob jobs. Giggle. In this pic they don't look exactly a like, so it'll be interesting once we see them on the show as they flip back & forth.

Didn't like the twin twist last time and I don't like it this time. BB is throwing too many twists into the game at the same time. Stick with #2 with a new twist every week but forget the other two. With all that's going on - no one will be able to develope any kind of game plan.

I'm not sure if you can call Battle of the Block a twist any longer. I actually enjoyed it last year and thought it helped to add something to the show, I'm happy they brought it back. Although it looks like reddit is not in favor of this at all lol

Twist #2 concerns me. There seemed to be a lot of uproar with the BB Canada season that just passed because of too many twists and that the twists took over the show and to some it felt like a way for production to meddle in things. I hope the weekly twists for BB US does not turn out to be the same. I love keeping these house guests on their toes, but it's a fine line to do so and also keep the traditional Big Brother game in tact.

I also love the Twin Twist, glad they brought it back. I wanna see the hidden room they'll have to stay in when swapping out!

The twin twist seems like fun--I wasn't watching the show the first time they did it--but it also takes up TV time when they could be showing us the plotting going on. I suppose the first few weeks are more about personalities than anything and maybe that doesn't matter so much. Kind of seems like they are over doing it on the number of twists, though. I hope the "guest twist" each week doesn't turn out to be a bust.

I'm guessing they won't be showing much strategizing this season. They won't have time to show anything but the twists, and there won't be much point in plotting either, due to the twists.

I laughed last night when I saw BB12's Britney's tweet about the Battle of the Block being the "Fan Favorite" - she said "who is this fan?!"

i enjoyed the twist of the battle of the block last year, so i'm happy it returned. while the new twist every week will keep the HGs on their toes, i agree that it's going to make strategizing/plotting/planning almost impossible and has a real possibility of backfiring. HGs could decide it's not worth it to even try to do any planning and it could become a really boring season. just seems like way too much meddling in the game by production and able to "fix" an outcome that they want to see.
the twin twist, eh, it was okay the first time. no opinion yet for this season. i'm fickle and it depends on if i like them or not LOL.

IMO, the best part about the "twin twist" is when it's revealed to the other houseguests that they've been talking to and playing with two different people.

IMO too many twists, Battle of the Block wasn't as effective as when we only had two nominates. But we shall see, often when twists don't work, BB phases them out early.

The over-commercialization of each weekly twist left me thinking that the game was more of survival by attrition vs a game strategy.

I have to admit that when Julie was describing all of the twists, I was concerned that it might totally ruin the game. This is going to be an interesting year for sure. So far the players seem likable, but we all know that can turn on a dime.
