What happened to the "Twisted Summer"?

What ever happened to having a different twist every week? They did it for like 3 or 4 weeks and then we never heard anything else about it (at least not that I remember).

A complete fail. I do not understand why they acted like it would be all summer. I read an article that they decided to let the house just play out without any twist. They sure ended the BOB early. I do not like the BOB but do not understand why it ended so early.
