I feel like I missed so much. I go to bed with things are settled down and I get up to drama.

It seems like their arguments to James have some how changed the dynamics of the house. James, just stick to you guns and leave them up there.

I've only been able to catch bits and pieces this morning. Apparently, Clelli went to James trying to throw Steve, but wouldn't say specifics or name names...which was their plan. James tells Meg that without specifics, naming names, telling all he will not change the noms. I think James's plan is to get them to out everything and still send one of them home.

Morning...
James, Clay/Shelli in bathroom right now. James giving great insight into his thoughts: Correctional Officer and you do wrong, you go home. Giving Shelli/Clay to tell the truth or go home. Very interesting. Turn on feeds....flashback a few minutes (maybe to 4:45ish) to hear start of James' speech. He's now saying if they tell him something small, might as well keep it to himself. If they want safety, they have to tell everything.

This is really interesting....can they give him enough info to make him put up Austin without spilling Sixth Sense? He wants to know it all. But if they put up Austin, do they get to keep Sixth Sense? They're moving to HoH room now.

I agree, NoNo. James has been fantastic with this!

I still thinks he gets the info and doesn't change noms. He can get rid of one, and the entire house will know the other ratted out everyone!

The house is in flux this morning. Shlay made their pitch, to get Steve on the block. James practically begged them to tell him who is trying to target him, (Becky), but out of “honor” Shelli and Clay won’t put her name out there. Meanwhile, Jmac and Becky continue to knife Vanessa to Shelli and Clay, casting doubt on her relationship with them. What is absolutely clear, Vanessa is still all in on saving both Clay and Shelli, even making Austin go up to James and sell the idea of putting up Steve, which Austin was in the middle of, before I left the feeds.

This is what is known as a strategic miscalculation, on Vanessa’s part. Vanessa, if she wants to save Shlay, should stop working through proxies, go to James, and out Becky. She should do it, because for the game Vanessa wants to play, deals, strategic intention, key wins; a Rat is the worst kind of floater.

There are basically three types of floaters in this game,

1. An under the radar cruiser, like Jmac or Donny, or Dan S10, who stays off to the side, deflects attention if they can, and waits for the inevitable melt downs, when if they are in the game, can actually become valuable.
2. The second type is the playing both sides for their own intentions. Clay has the best personification of this style of play, though S14 Dan played a very similar game. This person lets people think they are on their side, but is really playing alone or in a small team. They don’t share what they hear from the other side, but use that information to shape decisions of the team they are playing with.
3. The third type of floater is the rat. Andy Herren was the most successful of this architype. They actively share information across both sides. Because they become so valuable as an info source, they become extremely effective is spreading disinformation, and half-truths, on both sides of the line they are straddling. Becky is playing this kind of game.

For Vanessa, now is the time to be shaping the board. She knows there is an opening, could easily out Becky to James, and Becky would go up and out of the house. Vanessa won’t do it, on the premise that she keeps confidences, but she could accomplish the task by either, telling James in detail, about the timeline of Jason’s boot decision, including emphasizing that the night before, the only people she did not talk to were him, Meg, Jackie and Jason. It would destroy Becky’s game, even if he kept Noms the same, and would then insulate her from Rat attacks. Not being more aggressive on this, is going to end up being her demise in the game.

I have no idea what is going to happen the rest of today and at noms. I am 90 percent sure noms stay the same, but stranger things have happened.

Vanessa’s stock is falling, being identified as emotional and paranoid. Jmac is really good at the knife in the back, with Vanessa his primary target, aided by Becky. Meg and James should be called Dumb and Dumber, with Clay letting slip, I can’t out the name of someone close to you that is telling me things. James tells Meg, I am only close to you, Becky and Jackie. Would Becky or Jackie sell us out. No. Then, 5 minutes later, in a hypothetical James on the block, they say you would be safe with Meg, Jackie, Becky, and Becky would bring Jmac. This smug belief that they have the house figured out, is going to get them killed in the game.

I expect no real game action after Nom ceremony, as Shlay lick their wounds, and Vanessa works to determine which of the two want to stay, and then rallies to keep that one in the game.

Obviously, life changes. I said at the beginning of the week, the pattern has been saved one week, go home the next. Vanessa will be done with them after this. That will be interesting to see. I suspect one of them wil end up being booted.

I'm not sure that this is enough for James. He wants to know who the "other group" is, and all they're giving him is that Austin is bad. But maybe it will be enough and I'll have to let y'all tell me that you told me so and I'll have to wear a unitard all week.

I don't think James will ever be a favorite of mine, but his explanation of being a correctional officer and seeing the "You do the crime. You pay" attitude explains a lot about his HoH decisions and who he is.

I agree - his explanation of a correctional officer gives me great insight as to how he plays. He can seem that he is being drawn in, but has the training to separate what is being said from what is known. This is one of the fatal flaws I see in Clelli and Vanessa - they can't keep a consistent line of truth even in their own heads despite what discussions are happening around them.

Shelli tells James about Austin's alter Judas. It was Judas that voted for Audrey. James says "Are you on narcotics?" LOL!

Meg told James earlier that Shelli said Austin is a monster. I think somewhere during the night Clelli has decided Austin needs to go not Steve Does anyone know?

Yes, Twirlly....they decided that they were going to have to point to Austin because they don't think he's fighting for them.

This isn't convincing me, is it convincing y'all? It's all old news except the Judas part. Shelli/Clay didn't have to vote Jason out....Austin wasn't the only vote.

Why would James care that Austin hasn't been nice to Clelli? He's got to know there's a deeper reason that Clay/Shelli think Austin should be nice to him.

I don't think this is the info James is looking for. This will not get him to sway his decision.

I think no one is biting on their idea of Steve so they're going to offer up a new victim.

James is looking for them to spill on everyone not just Austin.

Vanessa's going to be glad they left her out of it, but mad they threw Austin under the bus. And I don't know what the twins will think.
