Morning all. Holding pattern for Thursday. I don't think Becky and Jmac will be doing much campaigning. So, the question is how nuts will Vanessa get as she tries to get the next target set for Thursday. They all see through her now though, so it should be fun to watch.

Wonder if they will scurry out of rooms to assure that they're never alone with Vanessa? As she gets panicked again, enhanced interrogation techniques may be involved. Perhaps she will threaten Austin with hair washing (oh, the humanity, the horror!).

Sadly, her melt-downs are the only things to look forward to until Thursday, since both Becky and John have rolled over. I guess they figure if you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. And they are so delusional thinking that we find them adorable. We find them puzzling and a curiosity since their games have been contrary to normal assumptions of what should be done.

Examples: Never bring in a player who will choose blood over other allies. Never hide behind a trio who can run you over in the end when numbers are down. Never forget to be sociable. Never act so crazy that they want you out immediately.

I suspect that because most of these players were drafted, they don't know the normal game 'rules', so have made bizarre moves. Interesting to watch, even if there's few we love as people. Wonder how TPTB will set up the HOH games? Who do they want going forward? A rope games to favor Austin a la Brenden? Egg cage that may favor John? Mmmnnn?

Morning geo, and all who follow,

The house is rapidly falling back into the furball of the first 3 weeks, with named and unnamed alliances all targeting different people. I think Vanessa has lost her sight picture on the house. In a somewhat surprise for me, Austin actually has the best read on the house, and Julia has the best strategy for dealing with the Vanessa problem.

Jmac is fixated on Vanessa, to the detriment of his own game, I think. Yes, Vannessa is a threat at the end game, but with two weeks of F8 ahead of them, trying to get Vanessa out next vs Austwins, seems ludicrous, to me. Taking a bite out of them would, for Jmac, seem to make better sense. I thought for sure, he was going to talk to James/Meg at some point, but he is now all in with Steve, and will curry favor with the trio, which will hurt him next cycle, as TBM attempt to do the same, taking him out, the following cycle, especially if Jackie comes back.

Despite all the pushing, Julia has been consistent for the first time in the game. She does not want Vanessa out at F8. It makes zero game sense from her pov, or for Liz/Austin either. Vanessa won't come after them, the returning player may very well shift the balance, and then they will wish they had her. She even pointed out, with Liz/Austin, we should keep her in the vote, even if she is on the block.

Liz/Austin are all in with James/Meg, who are too stupid to know what a terrible idea for their game that is. They too are fixated on Vanessa, and Meg/James are nervous, since Vanessa talked to James for over an hour, and never offered a deal.

Vanessa did try to work into a deal with Jmac yesterday, and was totally shut down. Now, 12 hour later, he and Steve hatch a plan to make a deal with Vanessa today, pulling her into a 3 some with the Austwins. I hope Vanessa's radar is up when this occurs, since a reversal like that makes zero sense from a game perspective.

Steve is going to end up in trouble, bluffing on his capabilities and intentions, with Vanessa, which will only serve to get his game life ended. He is being very mysterious, and right now, Vanessa could be his for the taking. He has plenty of intel, she has never burned him, and with some heads up, she has the skills to forge a new relationship with James/Meg that might keep them all safe, until Jackie or Becky come back (for James/Meg), or Shelli for Vanessa/Jmac/Steve (I know she is targeting Vanessa, but things change).

Becky is totally checked out. Jmac is not as shrewd of a strategist as I was giving him credit for, Steve needs more transparency, if he is doing as it seems, and really trying to preserve Vanessa.

Austin and the twins, are going to exit this HoH, in a much stronger position then when they entered. Not a single player has talked about thei power at F7 to shape the F6 week, if they are HoH, and going into F5, with them, hoping you sweep f5/f4 HoH and PoV's to knock them out, seems to make no sense. Even for Vanessa, who I am sure did not intend for Austin/Julia to end up so bonded. (Austin/Liz was actually pushed by her, but I think she always thought Julia would turn on Austin at any time.).

The only interesting game discussions for me would be James approaching Vanessa, to actually make a deal, and John, Steve and Vanessa trying to work out their deal, if any.

All the throwing HoH talk, is just that at this point. I think all the players are going to want to win HoH, to take some control of their destiny, once HoH comp starts.

Morning, everyone! TTO asked me in a question late last night (after I was asleep) if JMac was playing Steve. I, of course, don't know anything for sure because JMac isn't verbal. But since I have watched him most of the game, this is what I THINK I know:

JMac has always been with Steve (well, at least for quite a few weeks) and will continue to be with Steve until the situation changes and being with Steve doesn't work for him any more. JMac doesn't really play anyone...he's actually fairly straight-forward when he finally talks. He told Steve once (and has proved it often) that he likes to tell people the truth even when it's going to get him in trouble because honesty is the best policy. Does he always tell the truth? Heck no. But if you watch him closely, he usually says what he means when he speaks to others about himself. If he tells someone he's going to throw a comp, he means it. If he says he's going to use the PoV, he means it. If he's upset with Vanessa yelling/crying, he tells her. If someone asks him to be in an alliance and he doesn't want to do it, he says "no, thank you." If he tells Clay he's with him, he is. If he tells Clay he will vote him out even though it's bad for his game, he will. If he tells Vanessa that the idea that she's coming after him was his own idea, it is. If he tells Becky that they can go to the Austwins together, admit their alliance, and throw Vanessa under the bus in an effort to save them both, he really means that he will do that (Becky didn't want to, but JMac would have confessed all).

I think in the conversation last night with Steve, you heard his actual game theory, as sparse as it is: There are too many different possible scenarios to consider. Too much happens to plan very far ahead. Take care of today, and then worry about tomorrow when we see how today shakes out. He said that early on in the game, but back then I hadn't watched him enough to know that he really means it. He prefers aligning with the Austwins over the Goblins because there are more of them. He'll worry about breaking up the Austwins when the situation presents itself. If the situation changes, then he'll change his plan.

I'm not enough of a BB scholar to know if JMac's game resembles an earlier player or not. It seems unique to me....and I'm enjoying it. I have no idea if he can make it work....it also seems a rather dangerous game style. But I sure do like him and will cheer for him as long as he's there.

Good morning all- I did not watch feeds yesterday so I do not have a lot to add. It looks like Austin and the twins are insulated from both sides. Our F3 may well be them. Austin will bow out and let the girls have it. He has stated several times he is not in it for the money. The only question is who will be the fourth one. If the two girls are left, I think Liz will win.

My only hope is that if James wins HOH, he will take a shot at the threesome. Not sure if he will since he has done nothing to bring Steve, Johnny or Vanessa over. I am still a Vanessa fan. I think she has been very loyal to her alliance from the beginning. With the entire house saying she is evil, I do not see her making it till the end. So today I am pulling for James to win. I know it is a long shot but would like to see him win over the threesome. He also has been very loyal to his alliance.

Still too early to think too much this morning, but all I do know for now: I want Meg to luck into a comp and be the one that evicts Steeeeeve-uh. I want Shelli to win the buy-back and be loyal to Jmac.

I'm wondering if Thursday's HOH will be an endurance/physical comp. I know we had two before DE but the ratings were up during that time. I'm wondering if they will want that JMac and James showdown considering they seem to be top two America's Favorites. Also a showdown between Vanessa, Shelli vs, Becky, Jackie as returnees to the game. It sure would be a cliff hanger if that were the case. Maybe I'm thinking too far ahead but if I were TPTB that's what I would want considering the ratings would be so good. We also know that TPTB sometimes push (Evil Dick, Rachel) to get the outcome they desire. Plus if James or JMac don't win HOH they'll both be in more trouble with James as a target before JMac. I would also like to see Jackie return so the 3BM are back together. Just my thoughts. Of course we never really know what TPTB want.

I have been on the JMac train for a while now while holding a ticket for the James train. My ride on the JMac train has been bumpy over the last weeks. From the little game talk, I just don't understand why he doesn't see that Steve's agenda is not in his best interest. There are red flags all over the place. My only hope is that he did tell Steve last night that he wanted to wait before approaching the Austwins.

For now, I am choosing to get on the GET OUT the Austwins train.

... says the person who thinks he could beat Vanessa at F2.

I would say "It's so cute" about Steve's delusions of being able to beat Vanessa, but he's been called "cute" for too long and people might think I mean it. I'm not seeing anything charming about that particular rat.

Oh boy, I missed a bunch over the weekend and yesterday and I'm trying to catch up...
Had to put the real world stuff first (cleaning, groceries, cooking, and the family). LOL, imagine that! 😉

Still hoping JMac and the Mouseketeers get together and realize they can do some damage, especially if Jackie or Becky come back.

If that doesn't happen, and I can't believe I'm writing this, so I will do it very fast: IhopeVanessaalignswiththeMouseketeers -- Hopefully with the returning juror in order to steamroll through the Austwins and Steve!

And, speaking of that Steve! Watch when after he leaves the house, he'll suddenly become a very comfortable and elegant orator with a gorgeous, hot girlfriend jumping into his arms. Yup, 'Keyser Soze!'

I'm letting Steve know now, that if he puts up James and gets him voted out -- I will be a very, very, very bitter juror!

I can't remember who said this, but for me, it applies well to these three.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks they need to band to get out at least 1 if not 2 of the trio. If all 3 are still there at F7 the chances that they run through the game is extreme high. It is not like it is 3 Megs. That trio is strong and the idea of leaving them in because there are bigger targets is stupid because NO ONE is targeting them. It seems like every one in the house is still playing like it is week 1 or 2. Hopefully now that the Veto ceremony is over people will start to have real conversations and realize it is time to get a twin or Austin out but given the way this season HG have been I'm not holding my breath. Just listening to Steve and Jmac "game" talk last night on BBAD was painful. They are supposed to be allies and yet the tip toed around each other the whole conversation.
