Morning geo, and all who follow,

Vanessa has successfully reconfigured the house. She is in between Jmac/Steve and the Austwins, gotten Julia to go up gracefully, and sealed Meg's fate. Meg still does not understand the game move against her, and so will go to Jury bitter.

Jmac is misdirecting Meg, telling her, a. he is surprised that Austwins campaigned to get him put up (he knew), and b. Vanessa/Steve are his targets.

Vanessa has successfully hidden her self interest from James, who now plans on going after Vanessa, if he is HoH, by putting her up with Steve. If this holds till thursday, Vanessa is the safest person in the house, only going up by James, and then against Steve, which gives her the chance to win veto herself, have Jmac win veto to pull her down, and if the worst happens, survive a vote out against Steve, probably unanimously. Of course, James has to win HoH, and in any date or event based question comp, only blind luck will get him a win.

Last night, Austin and Liz had a talk about the house going forward, and Austin does not see the board clearly anymore. He thinks Steve is loyal to scamper squad (he is not), and there is a chance Jmac will target James, vice them (he won't).

Lastly, yesterday afternoon, Vanessa and Jmac talked for an hour in the HOH. She told Jmac, everyone in this house has betrayed me, and I can't have a number 1 with someone that I am number 4 or 5 with. She told Jmac, if it gets to F6, and I am HoH, I will have to take a shot at the twins. She will target Liz in that scenario. Jmac and her sounded very convincing in that they say they are all in with each other. I think it is sincerre with Jmac, but I am not sure with Vanessa.

Not much real game today. Meg will start serious campaigning tomorrow, maybe, but it will be ineffective. I don't expect much drama for the rest of the week, with Meg going home on Thursday night, and then the DE.

ETA: Another thing I am wrong about. Meg is going to try to get Austin to flip his vote, and blame Steve, and get Jmac in on the plan. Hours of entertainment tomorrow, depending on how fast Austin tells Liz/Julia or not, if Jmac tells Vanessa/Steve or not, and if Austin doesn't tell, hours of Vanessa agonizing over whether to tell Julia and when. Even when I think they are going to be boring, this cast delivers, every week.

Vanessa was correct when she told JMac that Meg going will actually helps James in the game. I like Meg in that she is fun and sweet. However, she is definitely not a game player......or at least not this game.

Austin was working the "bro" thing with James earlier. Both of them saying they could see the two of them at F2. Austin knows that the goal was to break up voting blocks. I think he has to know that he and the twins are the next big targets for that reason. He is trying to firm up some help from James. I'm interested to see, without Meg, how much game James has in him.

Vanessa and JMac certainly sounded so sincere with one another. But, I don't believe Vanessa will actually take him to F2 nor him her. I see the unspoken plan for both Vanessa and JMac as taking Julia as anyone sitting next to her should win. Weeks ago I said the only one who had a shot of winning over Vanessa was Steve. But, as this house shifts, I think JMac could also win over her.

I think more so than other times, this DE is huge!

Good morning Everyone! Ken always gives the best synopsis!

Other than naming Ken's final foursome The VJJ'S last night, this is all I have to say so far today. I think Meg will go to the jury as a Bitter Betty against Vanessa. She was never with Vanessa so why wouldn't Vanessa put her up. If it's all a majority of women in there, they very well could vote out of spite/hurt/anger, if Vanessa is in F2. Have a great day all!

Meg annoys me to no end. So when her side is targeting someone it is game-related. But when she is being targeted by someone she has been actively targeting, isn't aligned with, isn't cool with, and will never be friends with even outside the house (her words), it is personal. James was trying to help her see that it might not be personal, but she wasn't having it. I can't with her. Thursday couldn't come early enough.

I am eager to see James play without Meg, and I am certain that James has a bad read on the house because of his associations with Meg, the strategy wet blanket. I just hope it's not too late for him. I don't want to see him nominate Vanessa and Steve with the Austwins still intact in the house. That scenario could end up with Steve/Vanessa/JMac going home depending on who wins veto. Not good on my book, because that means the Austwins will likely be F3.

Not if one of the Austwins is next to Vanessa as the replacement nom in order to force their hand. Very unlikely, but not impossible if James has his thinking cap on. That's the worst case scenario for Vanessa.

Guest, I agree. However, it also requires A. James to win an HoH Thursday, a very low probablility event, unless it is random, and B. That James actually has a thinking cap, and that Meg does not walk out the door with it. . ETA and additional thought, in a match up of Julia vs. Vanessa, I am not sure Austin votes Vanessa out.

Myragirl... If Liz is on the block vs Vanessa IMO Liz is gone not Vanessa. Steve/JMac will tell James they need to break the TWO couples so if this scenario happens Liz will be voted out!

reading recaps, Meg and James are too stupid to live in this game. They are going to try to get Austin to vote out Julia, then read John in, and get him to go along, and blame the flipped vote on Steve, since Jmac hates Steve.

    A. Austin is not going to flip, since that scumbag move almost got him evicted in week 5.
    B. By telling John, John will tell Vanessa and Steve, the vote won't flip, and probably just before the vote, Vanessa will tell Julia about Austin, if he hasn't covered himself by telling at least Liz and maybe Julia and Liz about the plan.
    C. Assuming Austin would actually vote out Liz's sister, when he openly talks about wanting a relationship with outside the house, just assumes Austin is totally playing Liz.

Their problem, from the beginning of this, is they like their friends. Austin and Liz have become their friends, and so they can't do anything to against them. And it will be the death of both of them. When this comes out, and it will, James will be targeted by Vanessa, Liz and Julia, and probably Austin will be forced to get him out, by Liz, as penance.

ETA: I am sorry Mouseketeers, this is Jame's plan and is evidence of his ''Strategic Mind'' at work. That and him telling Meg, I am just going to win Veto's to save myself, which Meg "helpfully" passed on to Jmac, letting him know, James is going to be no use in getting the Austwins out, and will just be a comp threat to slip into the end game.

Did not see this James Meg plan in the recaps, but could this be a result of Austin's comments about being unable to carry both twins. You know I have find ways to defend James.

James would be better off without Meg game wise. Many conversations had between James and Meg where she convinces him of something different than what he originally thinks. A day or so ago he said he'd put up Van and Austin but she's talked about him sticking with Austin and putting Van and Steve up. Now he says that's what he will do. She does see them as friends with Austwins and it's her downfall. Hoping with her gone he'll see the game better. Realize there is a reason Steve didn't go up or the others. It's definitely not out of the goodness of Vanessa's heart.

Could Judas, vote out Julia, you know that Julia would vote out Austin. I am still routing for Meg even after all the negativity that I just read. Austin has to look after himself at one point. Wasn't it a conversation that he had with John, that he said for his own game he might have to vote out Liz. I know that the won't evict Julia, but why are liz/austin so trusting Vanessa?

I think Julia would vote out Austin, I don't think she likes him, and her sister is her twin - the closest person in the world to her....her sister would be mad at her but she wouldn't cut her other half out of her life. they've been together since conception...surely Liz wouldn't give up the most important person in her life over some smelly, hairy, nasty man.

Austin, on the other hand, if he really wants an outside relationship with Liz could NEVER vote out Julia because Liz would likely never speak to him again.

Austin did have a conversation with Vanessa several days ago about the possibility that at some point in the game he might have to 'scumbag' Liz and they discussed the best ways to go about it as well as possible repercussions.

So it is most certainly something that Austin has considered. I don't think Austin is willing to fall on his sword for Liz, in spite of his previous claims that he is only there for TV time and doesn't care about the money. He is 30 years old, unemployed and broke and lives at home with his parents. He will not give up a chance at half a million dollars should he get that close to it.

Here's the nightmare final three: Vanessa, Austin & Liz. Austin wins last HOH, takes Liz and Vanessa sees all her ferocious summer work go for naught. Austin wins 1/2 mil, Liz dumps him as soon as a sweet-smelling sexy young guy smiles at her. Austin blows thru the winnings and moves back to his parent's s basement. The only smile that night is when James wins the fan fave prize and we get to see him with Baleigh.

My ideal ending would be a John and James final two, but they have been too game blind to make the correct moves to get there. So I'll settle for the bitter Karma of Austin taking out Vanessa, thus nullifying her earlier decision to keep him.

Guess I'm getting my gurr on. Would like to see a satisfying DE on Thursday, but think it'll be another rubber bullet night like Jackie eviction. It won't be a kill shot. But, a good surprise like taking out a triplet or Vanessa would be something to cheer for. I'd even settle for Norman Bates departing (glad they showed his mother alive since I was wondering).

kyblueblood, I tried to come up with a longer nuanced answer but it didn't come out smoothly, so I'll just fall back on how she's manipulating them with her emotional outbursts .... coz she does seem to be out of control with them but she's using them to control others. People promising her the moon while they try to calm her down on a crying jag. And giving her more material to use in her tales to the rest of the house.

Okay, I may not like it but this is my thinking of why Vanessa is targeting Meg. She feels that even though there is a trio in the house, they are not as strong as the friendship between Meg and James. So why not break it up. She probably feels as though they will always vote together. While Austin, even though he is in a showmance will not necessarily vote to keep Liz. Wasn't it Ericka that voted out Boogie, or was it the other way around? The only exciting thing left to this season is how the DE plays out. I guess I would like to see one of the twins follow Meg out. They always appear to have a snobby look on the face. Liz appears to not have either lost any weight or gain any. Was she ever a have not? She is always eating.

I am even close on reading the house. Probably not.

I don't think it is that at all. I take her and Jmac at face value. Once the shooting starts in earnest, competitors will always be voted out over Meg. You need people that if you are on the block with them, you can make the case that they are more threatening then you are. Julia is threatening because she is part of a trio, James is threatening because he is capable of winning physical comps, will win the Part 1 of the final HoH comp, and is a Dad, and has an awesome social persona, getting him a bunch of Jury votes to win, Austin wins, has never been on the block, etc, etc,. Taking Meg out now, is about as late as you can remove a non competitive good time gal, before she becomes to easy to drag to the end.

And, she comes as part of a duo. So, if you can remove a pawn, and break up a duo, and have a low likelihood that the partner can successfully get back at you, that is the right boot, right now.

If they boot Julia, Steve and Jmac will have removed a pawn, who also came with a threat value, which would have allowed you to make the case that she should be booted over you. If you boot Julia now, you leave two capable competitors coming directly at you, with a chance to win HoH, the very next cycle, and take you out.

That is why Meg is the right boot for Jmac, Vanessa and Steve (though a little less important for him). And for Austin and Liz, other considerations come into play.

I would have to say that I disagree somewhat. Wouldn't Liz/Austin if they win DE HOhH target Vanessa, know I Nguyen that should could possibly win herself into the F2. I know that Liz/ Julia don't like JohnnyMac, but wouldn't it be better for them to strike at Vanessa first. Say what you will about Austin but I still see him at the end.

Okay, I might just go back to lurking now, and see if you are correct, Keninva, in how it turns out.

Like Vanessa said, this season is predictable.

          Spoiler Alert...Austin Bashing Ahead

For all of you Austin fans out there, here is how Mr. Nasty starts his day:

Gets up, goes to the Storeroom to change his battery, goes to the Bathroom and brushes his teeth for about five seconds. Then goes into the toilet, comes out and does not wash his hands (duh!) and then gets back in bed with Liz and puts his filthy paws all over her.

He is a walking petri dish.

They are going to have to burn down the house when the season is over.

Watch out you might get what you're after
