    Morning all.

Time for the twins to get the business this week. Good times.

God willing and the creek don't rise, one of the twins goes home this week. Should be Liz, as that will blow up the threesome.

Good morning all - another wasted summer. I become less interested every year, I watch less every year. I've said it before, I'll say it again - if this is a representation of America's youth today, well, I have to believe it isn't. They have gotten rid of the only one left in the house with the cajones to actually think for himself and act on it, other than Vanessa who has no finesse (<- that's supposed to be cute), and is basically just a bully.

I hope Steve evicts JMac. I hope Vanessa evicts Steve. I hope Awfultin evicts Vanessa. I hope Julia evicts Awfultin. I hope Julia walks away with the big prize. The only flaw in that plan is that Vanessa isn't the one to go in final 3. I feel like that is the worst eviction to be, and I wish it on her. But giving Julia the opportunity to evict that alleged man, Awfultin, gives me some pleasure. And they ALL deserve to see the twits cash in - especially Julia - who did absolutely nothing except be a twin.

While I understand that being in the house is way different from sitting in the comfort of home watching, that is becoming less and less of an argument in some situations. For instance. The supposed "super fans" should know, after all this time, that they need to get the ones apparently running the house, out. You have to get rid of showmances. THINK FOR YOURSELF. There will always be targets, until you get rid of them. You walk in the house as a target - deal with it -it doesn't go away just because someone else is still there.

      Good thing I'm not bitter.

      Well, happy summer everyone.
Last edited by Itssummer; 09-04-2015, 06:21 AM. Reason: Because she does think for herself, but really doesn't own the evictions until she's whining about being "alone in this game", to garner pity.

I've got one foot on the step to the JMac train but am gladly jumping off it now to join the Bitter Jury Alliance train. The only thing left for me to salvage this season is James winning America's Favorite! I juuuuustuh cannooooootuh get behind any of these people still in the game. Johnny Mac lost me when he put all his trust in Vanessa and Steve. Karma is gonna bite some booty over the next few days. Yes, I am bitter, and disgusted, and aggravated - Bitter Jury Alliance all the way!

For all of us in the Bitter Jury alliance. It should be a fun week to watch.

If both twins go up on the block, we will get to see them whine and complain about how unfair it is that they have to be on the block together. Well, surely they wont do that since they talked trash about Meg doing that same thing when James was on the block.

If Austin wins Veto and takes Liz down, who does Steve put up. It will be fun to watch Vanessa working him to put John up.

For Steve, at the end of the week if Liz is the one that is going home he needs to make sure that Austin knows that Vanessa was in on the plan or all his angry will be placed on Steve and not Vanessa. I think Austin will be OK with losing Julia but not Liz.

Well when Vanessa wins, since she doesn't really need the money, maybe she will use the money for good. Like building houses for orphans in Africa or feeding the hungry. Oh that is after she buys Liz a car, and gambles some of it to win money for Austin, and give Julia $10000. Wells I guess she doesn't have to give Julia the money since Julia didn't go home on Vanessa's HOH.

Steve should put Liz and Austin, up that way if Austin wins Veto he can sacrifice himself and either let Liz win the Veto or if he wins he can be gallant (yuck) and take Liz off. Then Julia goes up and Austin goes to jury.

Morning geo, and all who follow,

Twin sisters end the Rockstar options, but following Vanessa’s plan saves their game.

Yesterday and the day before, John and Steve agonized over whether to evict Julia, in an attempt to flip the House at F7. Had they followed that plan, and succeeded, they would very probably be in control of the house now, with options as to how to move forward in the game, with or without Vanessa. But, the key element of the plan to flip would have been their ability to win HoH and PoV to get the results they wanted. Under pressure, they choked, winning neither HoH nor PoV.

Even though they are in the game, their options to abandon Vanessa went out the door with James. They cannot turn on her, because they need her in the next round, even though she does not need them. That is the price of losing.

Following Vanessa’s plan saved them, as Liz won HoH, targeted James, since Vanessa had been working on them all week for just this scenario. Then Julia drove the nail in James game coffin, as the pawn came back and won the PoV, keeping noms the same, and getting James out of the house. He was the last player Vanessa had no influence with. If they had evicted Julia, Steve would be out of the house, I think, and John and Vanessa would be in a down position within the game, fighting against the two best social players but weakest all around competitors, for the loyalty of Austin and Liz. It would have been a massive hole.

At this point, the house is now 3 vs 3, Vanessa worked her influence on Austin to throw the HoH, which we won’t know if she was effective, until the Sunday show, but, in any event, Steve won HoH. Did Austin or Vanessa throw it, is up for question, in my mind. With Steve as HoH, Vanessa/John and Steve have control of the house, instead of the Austwins.

I expect Steve to nominate Liz and Austin today. Vanessa will be pushing John to try to get a little closer to Julia, in prep for the next round after this eviction, and obviously working Steve and Austin overtime to keep them in the fold. She will also be thinking at hyper speed, about the best boot for her. It is not obvious to me, that Liz represents the best boot for her game, though it is for the Rockstars.

A small aside: Vanessa’s social game has improved as the range of personality types has been narrowed. She has pretty deep ties to the twins (the good time girls), Austin, and Steve. Her behavior with Steve has actually changed over the last week. In the past, she has always been a mix of teacher, older sister, and authoritative Mommy, towards him, but I have seen the strict mommy come out towards him, a lot more, and he responds to it. It is an interesting bit of psychological play at work with him and wonder if it is deliberate, or just Vanessa innately doing what Steve responds best to.

Morning geo and Itssummer (sorry you are upset, Itssummer ). (Edited again because I didn't say good morning to aprilshowers or Ken who both posted while I was typing. Morning to y'all and to everyone!)

I'm pretty sure that Ken is going to try to claim that Vanessa arranged for all of this with her planning, but I'm here to offer an alternate view: This was all JMac's doing. JMac had to do the strong manipulative work of getting Vanessa to trust him again. JMac is the one who has been able to keep Steve on his side. JMac is the one who built his Steve/Vanessa relationship into something that not only kept him safe last week, but also kept him from being voted out last night. Not to mention that he fought his way back into the house and will make it to at least F5 AFTER he was declared the most hated person and was evicted without a single vote.

Don't listen to Ken....Vanessa is good, but this is all JMac. JMac is the mastermind. Vanessa wouldn't find herself in as good a position if it wasn't for him.

Edited to add: See! Ken and I were both typing at the same time, but I knew what he would say. Alas and aleek....it's all in the way one views it, I suppose. Go JMac The Mastermind!

        Twirlly!

Ken...JMac says in the DR what the DR wants him to say. He is their favorite toy, so we can't listen to his DRs and believe them (I actually don't think we can listen to anyone's DRs and believe them anymore, for real. Those days seem long gone...scripting DRs is the new black.) But let's just put out there the POSSIBILITY that JMac has to process things for himself, and that he was always going to make up his own mind about how to vote. Vanessa talking to him may or may not have influenced it. We really don't know, do we?

There is another viewpoint, for real, that sees Steve and JMac are playing Vanessa. She just talks more (much more) and repeats herself, so it seems as if she's the one swaying them. But maybe they are thinking for themselves and working their own plan which happens to align with hers right now? Steve and JMac aren't dumb. (And I think there is a great chance that Steve/JMac would have made keeping Meg over Julia work in their favor if they had decided to keep her. They were sitting pretty either way. They, together, decided to keep Julia because they needed to keep Vanessa calm since she's part of their master plan).

Just sayin'....there's another way to look at this.

Guest, when Steve gets evicted at F5, is that part of Steve's plan too? I mean I know he wants the complete BB experience, and what BB summer would be complete without a visit to the Jury house, where he can explain Vanessa's game. .

ETA: Keeping Meg might have worked in Jmac's favor, but in the keep Meg plan, I am 99 percent sure, Steve is being beaten with a wet noodle by Julia, in the jury house today. Just sayin.

I just don't see JMac as a mastermind, Nono- he just seems to do nothing when he is on the feeds- very little social game. But I have to be honest, I dont analyze the game like you and KeninVa do- I don't think I could concentrate that well and figure it all out. (maybe I need some of Vanessa's meds)

    • #7
So Steve just said on the feeds that he's going to have to nominate Austin and Liz. He's gotten affirmation for this from JMac and Vanessa. Vanessa thinks that she's convinced Julia not to use the PoV on Liz if Julia wins PoV, but I think Vanessa is drinking her own kool aid. There's a very high percentage chance that if Liz and Austin are on the block and Julia wins PoV, Julia pulls Liz off. They're sisters. There's really no possible excuse that Julia could give that would make sense for her not using it.

This week is going to be a TON better than last week....the twins won't be as mean when they're not in power (I hope) and we SURELY will lose an Austwin, right?

I posted last night that this is the LAST week-long HoH. From now on, HoHs will be only a few days because within the next 12 days we have to lose 3 HGs. In 12 days we'll be at F3. Amazing.

So those of you who are feeling bad this morning, please hang in there with us here at BBU.....it's going to go so fast and no matter what happens, it's been a really great season. ❤️

Vanessa told her to say that Twirlly....Julia is the one person that I do believe Vanessa actually can persuade, but I agree, I don't think even Vanessa can sway her to go against her sister's best interest. Julia is simply not going to risk losing Liz if she has a chance to save her. Can't see it.

Please Take A Moment To Read This ...

(sneaking in from work... shhh )

You guys see me asking for support of BBU throughout the season. It's not an easy thing to ask for, I do it because I want this website to continue to be the place that it is for everyone.

hether your post count grows each day or you even have a post count at all. Whether you are one of our wonderful, couldn't do without you donators or someone who loves the website and just isn't able to donate anything right now, we want ALL of you to enjoy this website not only this season... but for as many seasons as this show continues to be on the air.

Those of you who have been with us throughout the years already know what I'm about to say... but since we have a lot of new members and a LOT of new lurkers/guests ... I'm just going to take a moment to give some background on this website....

We ( the moderators, Rob and I ) all volunteer our time here at BBU, to make sure that everyone has a place to come and talk about Big Brother.

We are not funded by a company, we do not have deep pockets, we struggle to make it through season after season. We do not require you to make a donation, to be member of the website, we do not exclude anyone from anything... and that's because we above anyone else, understand that it's not possible for some people to make a donation.

We do not treat anyone differently, whether they make a donation or not. The website is available to everyone to post on, read, lurk, whatever makes them comfortable.

We do not put up the pop up ads that slow your computer down or make you jump through hoops, just to read at BBU.

The Moderators and Rob work tremendously hard to ensure that everyone's time at BBU, is a pleasant one - and again - they volunteer their time ... without reservation ... because they are devoted to the BBU members. We offer our devotion hour after hour, day after day, month after month to bring all the updates to those who can't afford to watch the live feeds - due to money and/or time constrictions.

So, that's why you'll see us ( me most of the time ) making posts like this one, asking for any support that you can give.

The bulk of the traffic at BBU, is during the 3 months of Big Brother, but as a website, we remain up and running for the entire 12 months each year. So, the expense of keeping the website up and running, doesn't end when the Big Brother season ends.

We offer discussions on Survivor and other reality shows, but it's Big Brother that the majority of members wish to talk about - which leads to us having to remind members - that we need support to help keep the website going- since the traffic is there during that time - that's when we try to remind people that we do need the support to make it through to another season.

Last season, we fell very short and through our own pockets, and a handful of members who did step up and make donations, we were able to keep things up and running, but barely. The expense of the new website has added to what it takes to keep things going and so ... as much as I don't like doing it...

Here I am again ... asking for any support you can give to help for this month and the month ahead.

Thanks for your time : )

I want them both up, with Vanessa as PoV holder, so that she can either

      A. Tell Austin, I would use the PoV, but Steve told me not too, and I don't want to seem selfish.

      B. Tell Austin, ''Hey, you agreed to be a pawn for F&G, back in week 5, when we saved you."

      C. Pull Liz down, to force Julia up, and make the Rockstars vote out Austin, as the only rational choice they could make. There are benefits to Vanessa to let Austin go to Jury now, and to keep Liz together with her sister.

Ken, I love options A & B, with A>B. Option C, the benefits of keeping the twins is a 2-edged sword for Vanessa IMO. Liz has shown she has the capacity to perform better than Vanessa under stress. She could give Vanessa a run for her money in similar brain competitions. Also, she is more athletic than Vanessa. While, keeping Liz is more beneficial to Vanessa because her social game with the twins is better than either JMac/Steve's, another reason against Vanessa is that the twins are big flip-floppers and could very well turn on Vanessa with info from JMac/Steve.

I am leaning more towards an Austin eviction though because for some reason I think he's more dangerous to Vanessa's game.

I like Plan C, but would be ok with them voting Liz out and watching Austin beg to go with her. To make it real nice - Julia self evicts rather then be there without her sister. Then to kill the time since they would be down by 3, let 2 of the other jury fight to come back with an endurance comp. GO JAMES & BECKY (or Jackie)

    • #12
So JMac didn't win HoH, but the very next best person, Steve did. I do think that nominating Liztin is the best bet which looks like Steve's plan ATM. If either of them wins POV, Julia goes up, and they still get an Austwin out. If Julia wins, I wonder if she will really not use the veto on Liz if they are assured the target is Austin, especially if JMac tells them Austin okay'd targeting the twins. The twins are gullible so I say that's possible. I don't think Vanessa wants to win veto, unless it's between her and Julia, to prevent being the renom and potentially being evicted. Best bet though is either Steve/JMac wins veto, keeping nominations the same, ensuring a break in the trio.

@nono I like the new JMac since the week before his eviction and re-entrance. He is reinvigorated, adaptable, and actively playing the game. I am a Vanessa fan, and I do think that she worked over time this past week to alienate the twins from James and Meg, making James' eviction possible. Even JMac told Steve that they played Vanessa's game this DE. But it did pay off for them keeping them in the house. I will give JMac credit for downplaying his partnership with Vanessa/Steve. He snowed the Austwins so much that they were planning to target Steve over him if they had won this HoH, so props to him. All of Vanessa's hard work would not have amounted to much if he didn't play his part. I suspect that with things turning in his favor, we should anticipate a ballsier JMac, especially if we can get either of Liztin evicted this week, and then JMac coming into power.

I am torn on who I want evicted if Liztin remains OTB. On one hand, the twins are more gullible and naive than Austin, and depending on info received could turn on Vanessa. Plus, even though they are actively playing to win, they are not as smart and knowledgeable about the game. Austin is also actively playing to win, but way too smart to put JMac/Steve's interest over his. On the other hand, there's the argument that Liz is the glue to the Austwins, and with Liz gone, they fall apart. Also, keeping Liz leaves the unbreakable sister bond in the house.

Anyway, anyone who's not on the Karma train/Bitter jury alliance should be excited with the turn of events, an Austwin is most likely going to jury barring a Julia win. Watching them squirm while on the hot seat should be fun too.

OK, Steve puts up Austin and Liz. Julia wins POV and takes down Liz. Who does Steve put up - John or Vanessa, since the twins will control the vote at that point? They would vote out John, BUT would they keep Austin over Vanessa? I think so. This decision could render Steve so ill, he'd need hospitalization. John would be an easy kill, but Vanessa would be a major coup for him. But, at this point, he only has one other player to cover his butt next round. He can't play and he'll know triplets are gunning for him. Will John or Vanessa play for him too? (I think John, yes, Vanessa, not so much.)

Know it won't come to pass, but I do enjoy knowing that Steve's brain is twirling with these exact thoughts as he goes through all his options.

I think Vanessa works Julia to vote out Austin, pointing out that Julia can't beat Austin, but she can beat Jmac, since he was evicted. Julia/Vanessa boot Austin, Liz votes out Jmac.

I also think, given that he swore on his mother, which Vanessa again reminded him of last night, he puts John up, since to do otherwise, will tip his hand that he does not intend to honor his final 2 with her. And, Jmac would have to vote out Austin, since to do otherwise, leaves all three Austwins still in the game. I just don't see that as anyone's masterplan. Steve made himself sick over needing to vote out Julia yesterday. He is not going to throw that away, to get Vanessa out, when both girls, beat Jmac/Steve head to head, in a carnival skill/brain processing comp. They should be afraid of them.

Liz knows Austin will take her to final two, so I just can't see her voting him out over Vanessa or John, who are not guarantees. That leaves Julia who could be persuaded to keep Vanessa, but would she go against Liz??

But, doubt it'll ever happen, so just fun to theorize.

I think Steve puts up Vanessa in that case, explaining that she's just a pawn and it's her turn.
