I will laugh loudly if Liz stays, wins HOH & Vanessa departs next week. Karma is a bee-atch. Of course, Vanessa is betting on them taking out Steve for her. But, it's a bad bet for her going into final four when none of the other players will take you to the final three, so you must win either HOH or POV to get there. To me keeping Julia makes more sense for everyone but Austin, since she's the weakest player, but this has not been a logical season.

Meanwhile Johnny Mac continues like a rubber ducky, bobbing along in the turbulent BB waters, with a grin on his face as he's no one's direct target and he's a good choice for finals.

This season continues its anti-logical path?

Morning geo, and all who follow,

The HG's swung into game mode yesterday, all plotting and scheming to survive the next round. Julia and Austin convinced Liz to stay, and despite their plans to hang Vanessa out, she agreed almost immediately, extracting a worthless promise for her vote.

In the end, the final results will be the same, Austin/Liz cannot go to final four with Steve/Jmac intact. Steve/Jmac cannot go to F4 with Austin/Liz intact. Vanessa is still relatively safe. The big change, if Steve is not gettable, Liz might consider keeping Jmac over her, but I don't believe Austin would, and that will bring Liz around.

Safest in the house, today, is Jmac, since I think he has become viewed as the goat, for Liz/Austin/Vanessa and Steve.

I actually think the decision to keep Liz works better for Vanessa than Julia does, since she is a threat in being to win comps, has a good record, but will be beatable by Vanessa in the end, as her HoH's will have been viewed as being controlled by either Austin or Vanessa. Plus, Jmac will have a hard time cutting Vanessa, to take Liz. The only thing that would help Vanessa more, is if Julia "blows up Vanessa" on the way out of the house, re-enforcing how much the Jury is bitter to her.

For all the twins talk, to use a patented Nono term, they are the Flippiest of the houseguests. Anything said today, can change by tomorrow. I do expect Julia will end up as the boot, but anything is possible today.

I did not see the Jmac/Steve/Austin promised meeting, but expect it will happen today, unless I missed it.

Not much else, except the Liz/Austin show, for those that like that sort of thing.

          Morning everyone.
Vanessa'a in a good spot and a dangerous spot, both at the same time. All in the house (except possibly JMac) are very aware of how conniving she's been and don't trust what she says any longer. But they also aren't targeting her because there is a duo that worries them more. That means Vanessa could go home in a heartbeat because that's what happens to untrustworthy HGs. But she also could be safe because even though she's untrustworthy, there is not a lot of damage she can do any longer. There is a bit of enjoyable irony in watching the self-professed "Straight-Shooter, Never Tell a Lie, My Integrity is All I Have" Vanessa finally be outed as the opposite of all she's claimed to be. Straight-Shooter she is not.

I think a lot will depend on the Austin/JMac/Steve talk (JMac went to sleep, Ken, so it was postponed.) I believe JMac knows Vanessa's untrustworthy traits (he's been on to her a long time) but he's playing with her because it's his only option. Will he change his mind about keeping her safe after hearing that she's got deals with everyone? I don't know...because he really doesn't have another option. None of them can afford to leave Austin and Liz in the game together, so Austin/Liz have to be the target for Monday's taped eviction. (I think...right?)

Keeping Liz, IMO, is a bad option for everyone...(except for Liz, obviously, and maybe Julia who gets to escape the embarrassing behavior of her sister).

For Vanessa: If she's in F3 with Liz and Austin, it's a given that neither of them takes her to F2. But she's also raising the odds that she gets beat in the Final HoH Part 1 AND Part 2. Liz/Austin could beat her in both of those (where Julia most likely couldn't). So she's in much more danger of going out third with Liz. Julia would be easier to beat in the comps and in the F2.

For Austin: With Liz remaining, the target on both their backs remains. Austin likes to say that it would still be there even if Julia stayed, but I don't believe it would be nearly as large. I was impressed with how Austin manipulated Vanessa yesterday. If he lost Liz now, he really could focus on his single game and might actually win.

For Steve/JMac: Why keep a comp threat who is part of a duo? They're not going to have a choice in the matter if Vanessa votes with Austin, but it's not a good thing.

For us (the feedsters): I don't even have to say out loud why it's a bad thing for us if Liz stays in the house with Austin.

Maybe I'm simply biased because I want Austin/Liz-Free Feeds so it's safe to watch again. Sigh.

Nono, I am with you on wanting Liztin free feeds. I am ready to just let the feeds go if Liz stays in this game. At least two cameras are dedicated to them and their nasty goings on. They are always lying in bed groping each other and that turns me off so fast, but as a LFU you need to ''watch'' so that you don't miss something. Ugh. What is really sad is that this ''romance'' will die a fairly quick death once they are out in the new world, me thinks. She has managed to forget what a jealous stalker he was now that he has wiped all the really good looking guys out of the house, but who can forget how quickly he worked to get Jeff out once she showed any interest in him. Yes sir, once they are outside and she sees all the good looking people out there and feels his ''wrath'' for just looking she will think it's not worth it. I give them a very short shelf life, most of it dependent on how much money they have at the end because if he wins the $500K she will hang around for a while and be his eye candy as they head to Vegas for some casino time. I rather doubt that all of his live feed work to get into the WWE will work for him as you have to have some skills as well....but working in his favor will be the dislike of so many people. It would be interesting to know how many ''wrestling'' fans like BB and if it's not many that will shoot his chances down even lower. I also can't wait to see how many of his old ''clients'' will come back now that they know how dirty he really is. I liked his admission that he really isn't licensed to do what he does in California but that he was grandfathered in. That would send up all kinds of flags for me as I want someone who could be held accountable if I am injured. I really hope that his stint on BB backfires on him and his house of cards, including his girlfriend, all come crashing down.

While they sleep....did y'all see the Les Moonves Vulture article that came out yesterday? It's about his 20 year anniversary with CBS as Chairman/CEO, and in it he mentions Big Brother (among many other things.) He and his wife Julie are rumored to sometimes watch the Live Feeds, and they DEFINITELY keep up with the show, so I thought this particular quote was interesting:

          __________________________________________________ _______

From the September 8, 2015 Vulture article "Network TV's Ultimate Survivor" written by Josef Adalian:

Vulture: And yet you’re still involved on a micro level with a lot of decisions. I’ve heard you still play a role in signing off on the cast for Big Brother …

Moonves: By the way, this wasn’t a great year for casting on Big Brother.

Vulture: Early on, the cast seemed pretty promising!

Moonves: I agree. Usually you have one or two disappointments. I think we had five or six disappointments. Another discussion.

          _________________________________

It's a very interesting article on the whole. But for our purposes, I wonder which 5 or 6 cast members he considers disappointments? And I wonder if Alison Grodner and Robyn Kassting are feeling the heat from the head boss' displeasure? It's not every day the Big Boss bashes your choices in public.

Yes, I would love to know who those people are. I also wonder who decided that they needed to finally start calling Austin out for his hygiene. I mean the man ''showers'' for about two minutes at a time without using a wash cloth just using his hands to run around his face and behind his ears. Once he finishes, he jumps out and puts on the same clothes he was wearing, and sweating in, just prior to that ''shower''. TPTB sent him messages via Zingbot that he ignored so they just called him out in the bathroom for not washing his hands. I also wonder what is in that little bottle that he ''drops'' on his hair each day. Do you think he has started losing his hair and has to put that on? Is that what smells so bad? And is that why he doesn't do much with it each day?

This is one of his wife's shows, so not surprised he takes such detailed interest in it. I doubt he personally meets each person, so he's going on the staff spiel on each one. I think he feels a bit duped by his employees and that's not good. It'll be interesting to see what happens for next year.

Unfortunately he still doesn't get it! Since he was called out I've seen him go into the bathroom come out and look in the mirror and not wash his hands. I don't think a word has been invented for his level of grossness. He goes Into the kitchen and uses those dirty hands to cook, touch fridge handle, pots and pans etc. I would want to follow behind him with a can of Lysol and spray everything. He reminds me of Pigpen from Charlie Brown comics but not as cute. Gross gross gross

          Good morning, BBU

Steve and Vanessa have a somewhat interesting convo at 1:15 A.M. BBT. I found it interesting that when she asked his opinion, he hedges (as he always does) and she calls him out on it. Saying how she lays everything out for him, tells him her thoughts and never does it for her in return. She goes on to explain to him why keeping Liz is good. He says he'll think on it.

Vanessa switches to keep Liz because she sees she needs a shield, IMO. I think she really wanted Julia, as she knew she could beat her, but, sees now that keeping Austin/Liz makes them the bigger target in front of her.

I think Julia goes now, Liz next leaves the F4 at a whole new game. Vanessa, Steve, Austin, JMac are all competitors! I also think that at the point we see virtually a new game with new deals being made. In all honest, with that F4 I would be ok with any winner as everyone of them has played the game.

NoNo, thanks for the info on Les Moonves. My guess is Audrey, Da'Vonne, Jeff, Jackie, Jason are disappointments. I mean that my guess would be during the casting process these are folks you would have expected to go much further.

Those guesses are good guesses, twirrly. Thank you! I didn't see your post until after I posted below, and I was having a hard time seeing that Da'Vonne and Jason were disappointments because they both behaved the exact same way they interviewed so there weren't surprises. But you're right....both of them SHOULD have been able to stay in the game longer if they had actually played the game (especially Jason. Da'Vonne's early exit wasn't surprising because she was an easy target, but Jason should have gone farther with his game knowledge and love of BB.)

The most interesting take-away from Moonves' comments is that he signs off on casting. I wonder if his displeasure means that something different happens in casting next year? (I'm still hoping for All-Stars, though.)

Hey Twirlly I took his disappointment as something COMPLETELY different thinking he meant the Twins, Austin, Clay because he just gave up and Audrey because of how she acted once she went up. That's 5 so I'm not sure who the 6th was given Jeff/Jackie both played (or tried to) and Jason & Da'Vonne had no control over their demise in that Day played too hard and Jason didn't try to get in with the other side earlier. However given they exited pre-jury and still remain among the most popular I'd say that removes them from his disappointment list.

I would imagine in his position he hears all the 'negative' comments sent via social media & received in the mail and my guess is the trio have dominated that all season. There is a possibility he's unhappy about Vanessa's bribes but she's played the game and is the only one really creating much 'game' currently in the house, so unlikely it's her.

Once I started thinking about it, I am very curious who Les Moonves thinks were the 5 or 6 BB HG disappointments (see my post above). Probably Jackie and Jeff since he most likely hoped for big things with that particular stunt casting. But I'm having trouble deciding who the three or 4 others would be....maybe Audrey? Is he disappointed in her "stay in bed" attitude? I wonder if he'll ever say who they are. Curious am I.

I def think Audrey and Jason could be disappointments. I mean Audrey all but checked out and had a meltdown (and being the first trans person in the house I'm sure he hoped from more from her). Jason was a superfan, and a funny personality but never really did anything with it, kind of a let down. I see Jeff here too, but Jackie actually did pretty well, considering, so it would be odd to really consider her that.

Depending on the kind of houseguest he likes, Clay may have also been a disappointment, willing to give up his game for another player, but that would depend on his personal tastes.

I watched the US Open yesterday instead of BB, then I check in today and find out Liz is staying?!?!? Ken, I don't agree with you that Liz staying is in Vanessa's best interest. First, Vanessa has no influence with Liz anymore, the stupid girl is in love, and will believe everything and anything Austin tells her, second, if Steve wins veto, Vanessa is leaving next in a Liztin HoH (@nono must be very happy that her boy is the safest in the house), third with Liz gone, she is Austin and Julia's #2, but with Liz in there, she is #3 or even #4 (below JMac). #KarmaTrain and #BitterJuryAlliance must be very happy with the turn of events. I am obviously not, so I hope that JMac/Steve/Vanessa have a talk that flips this fast. Hopefully JMac is a voice of reason, and they keep it amongst themselves so we get our first blindside this season. I don't care if there is a damage to Vanessa's game. There is already a huge damage. On the other hand, maybe keeping Liz will light the fire under JMac to win HoH.
Conclusions: 1. If Vanessa keeps Liz, she deserves to lose this season. 2. She and JMac need to win this HoH to be safe (which as Steve keeps reminding us, means your game is bad). 3. I can't believe there is the possibility of BB presents: Gross sex in the purple room by Liztin, Ugh. I have come to avoid the feeds because of them, and was really looking forward to a soft porn free feeds.

Heres hoping the new day does not bring more of Liz and Austins disgusting porno show. While I so want her to leave, her staying will possibly provide more drama. Have been chatting with Whitney, the friend running Twitter account for James. She's raised/raising money to fly out since I don't think production will pay, so that James will have someone there for him. I don't think Bree, baby mama, can take off work so his little girl won't be there. A real sweet young lady.

I think a lot of us feel the same way about Liztin. I wonder if ''fingergate'' happened before or after Zingbot? I think it was after. I was just thinking that, that would have been a better Zing for Austin/Liz. I am against slut shaming, but the fact that they are ruining the feeds is unacceptable. Knowing how Julia acted over the hickey, I wish she had been clued to the Liztin shenanigans through Zingbot a la Amanda.

VANESSA IS THE REASON WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.
Who benefits from keeping Liz? Austin and Liz of course. He gets at least one more week of playing finger games with Liz and Liz gets one more week of whatever she's getting. They get one more week of safety if he or Liz wins HOH. Well sort of. If either of those two win HOH and they nominate two for eviction and the third person wins the veto and takes one nominee down they will be forced to put their love buddy on the block. Now that would be pure karma.
When Vanessa votes to evict Julia I hope that Vanessa goes next week by their hands. When Vanessa told the twins that they should decide which one goes I asked myself what strategy is this. Who gives the people on the block that decision? Then it dawned on me, Vanessa thought she had total control over all the players and that she thought she would convince them which way was beneficial to her. When that failed she gave them ultimatums on her keeping Liz. Her wording was so obvious that it made her look even more sketchy than she already appears. She talks too early, too fast and too much. One of her many problems have been trying to play the game too quick. Timing is everything and she started some of her F2 plans much too early. Like her F2 with Julia. All her deals now seem over played and all the remaining players have caught on. Not just one or two but all of them. Her game the last few weeks has been messy. She runs from one player to the next and they've all seen her do this. I found her terminology for floater spot on. A passive floater and a aggressive floater. She is the true definition of an aggressive floater if ever there was one. I bet she sees it differently than I do. She thinks she has chosen a side and I think she has chosen all sides.
I hope Steve stays next week because I think he's been bullied enough in this game to last him a lifetime. By all of the house guest remaining but John. Vanessa has amped up her continuous barrage of complaints about him cleaning his dishes. Even going so far as stomping up to the HOH room to drag him down by his ears because he didn't wash his cereal bowl. She and Austin have continuously made fun of him behind his back. Laughed at him for being a "nerd". Liz and Julia have called him names that have made me cringe. I have not been one of his fans but I find them cruel and hope he makes it to the F2 for that reason alone. His social awkwardness is not his fault.
I would love to see Steve and John in the F2. That's my train and I'm staying on it til it comes into the station.

Additional comment on Vanessa/Steve. Steve is a Mama's boy, and reacts to what we perceive as demeaning behavior, in a counter intuitive way. He becomes more beholden to her, not less. JMO. And, if Jmac goes out, Steve will ride with Vanessa to the end.

Luanne I believe she really thought she had more control than she does.
Ken I think that Vanessa's preferred F3 was with John and Julia thinking if she set next to either one of them it would insure a win. And Liz saying she wants a girl to win simply means herself or Julia. No doubt if John leaves Steve will have to, there's no one left but her that will play the game with.

Tjeffy, I have argued before though, that having Julia in the end, is an inducement for John to backstab her out, if he wins. With Liz's comp record, John will have a hard time putting Vanessa out, since Liz very probably will beat him. John has not shaped the game in the least. Liz will claim James scalp, a big get. And, if she is there, with John, it would be hard to argue that it was a bad move for her.

Vanessa can truthfully argue to Liz, no girl has won sitting next to a guy, so if you want to chance it with John, who is loved by all his friends in the jury, take him. But, if you want a girl to win, which she has said both to Vanessa, and privately to Julia, she takes her chances, with her superior social game, equal comp record, and two locked in votes, vs Vanessa.

Either way, both Jmac and Liz would have to think taking Vanessa makes more sense for them. JMO.

I definitely think that Jason and Audrey were disappointments this season. My 5 would be Jason, Audrey, Jeff, Jackie, and Da'vonne. We can add Meg to the 5 to give us 6. Even though Jackie is high on some polls, most fans on twitter like her either because she is cute, or she was against Vanessa. IMO, she never brought anything to the game. I added Meg to the list as my 6th because I read 2 other exit interviews yesterday where Meg said in one that, she thought everyone but John was in summer camp, and so John deserves to win because he is the only one playing the game. In the other, she said that every eviction by Vanessa's hand was personal. It just goes to show that she had no concept of the game, and now I am glad that she got taken out (sending an apology to all Meg fans if I sound insensitive). I just wish she had been taken out weeks before, or even a week before DE, because I think James would have been able to build a more protective alliance, and strategy in the game without her there. IMO, if that was not a DE, JMac would be in jury now instead of James. I really feel bad for James. I wish he would have been able to have his crush on Meg, but align with someone else (like Hayden and Kristen). Unfortunately, he got saddled with her, and it ruined his game.

I am one of those who doesn't mind recruits in the game. They have been there from the inception of the game, and I love the way they balance out fans, and super fans. I just want recruits who do their research after getting casted, are competitive, and are there for the right reasons. Becky is an example of that to me, unfortunately she let personal targets, and power get the best of her.

I might be in the minority but I think Austin might be on the list for these reasons: 1) He appeared to be very stalkerish at the beginning with his obsession with various HG. 2) His constant appeals to the WWE to reinstate him, although he never got out of the minor leagues. 3) His obvious grandstanding for a commercial for Irish Spring (as he was placing it in every pic during his HOH reign). 4) The fans obvious dislike of his romance with Liz. 5) His hygiene. 6) His relationship status that went from 'I have a girlfriend' to 'what girlfriend' to 'you ruined my life because my girlfriend and her family will probably never speak to me again. I mean I understand that things happen and his being in the house and needing attention were prime motives for his going after Liz, even when she was Julia and didn't want anything to do with him.
I know, I know, why would people care about some of these things, but it is more apparent with him, more than even Frankie, that he is here more for his future career than anyone else. Yes, many (think Cody) have come on to get publicity but this guy is over the top with trying to work deals while still in the house. His immaturity has shown through in the way he conducts himself daily.....he goes from being the guy who wants to help everyone by showing them how to work out to talking all night about how he (and Liz) are the only ones who deserve to win the money because they ''allowed'' the others to stay.
I hope this doesn't sound like ramblings but I just had to put it out there and hope it sounds somewhat coherent.

Ladycop, I completely see your point. I just happen to think that Austin is calculating and actively playing the game. He is doing all of these things while also trying to win the money. But then, just because you're playing the game doesn't mean you're a casting success story so you're probably right. I would replace Da'Vonne with Austin based on your points.

Da'Vonne was casted to stir up drama. She never had a shot at winning the game IMO. If casting agrees, then she was a success.

I agree with Audrey (big time) and Jeff. I also think Meg was a bad choice because she just wasn't in the game at all. Cute and funny is fine, but I want to see people play the game. For that reason, Julia was also a bad pick. Should have had a different set of twins in the game. Fifth choice for me would be Jason, because he just didn't live up to BB expert and didn't play the game. For number six it would be Clay. He also wasn't too interested in the game.

Austin may have bad personal habits, but for the TV show, I think he probably added to it and people were interested in him. Jackie also was playing the game when Jeff was booted and probably was liked by the TV audience.

I will add that the BOB 'taught' many of the players to throw games, therefore not encouraging them to actually dig down in and play the game. It's weird, it's like they weren't playing for half a million at all, and that makes for boring TV.

Tjeffy, I love the idea of a Liz HoH that forces her to nominate Austin who then gets evicted, or vice versa. How glorious would that be!

I just doubt such a game move from these HGs.

Ken, while I think Vanessa has the smarts to see the move (as well as Steve), I wonder if either of them are ballsy enough to pull it. Vanessa has been playing timid since Austin HoH's when she found out she was a backdoor target for 2 weeks. I hope I see ballsy, aggressive Vanessa back soon, because I think she will need the balls to get Liztin out of the game, and herself into a F2 chair.

That may be her only play to insure a F2 chair. Not sure she would do it but I bet she sees it as an incentive choice she'll have to make. We would all laugh and there would much music and drink. Wouldn't we?

How has she been timid. She worked hard to swing the votes to keep Jmac, but was not going on a suicide mission to do it, she pulled Jmac in, and kept him off the block during her HoH, despite the whole house, except Steve pressuring her, and then she got Meg and James out, in one night, the only people she had zero influence on, who were going after her. And she worked hard to make the Meg boot happen. I try not to confuse playing hard, with being reckless. Turning in Austwins early, would have been reckless. A big secret, in the game, is understanding timing. She gets strategic timing, but not always the tactical timing of the week.

I suspect that ratings combined w/declining LF subscriptions may be contributing to Moonves' unhappiness over this season. The bigot mess season, followed by the predictable Derrick season, and this season leaving us with mostly unlikable players has got to have him wondering about Alison & production's casting and game play decisions. Hopefully an All-Star season will revive the format next year.

I agree with many, drop BOB and have food contests. I would have the winner get a catered meal each day, while the 3 or 4 losers would have slop, but with one MRE each day. They could also win week slop passes or rewards like a movie night that they could use or trade as they desired.

For we fans I think they should have 3 levels of Live Feeds. Basic would be what we have now. Premier would allow us to be Skippy - all cameras all the time, with some games and ceremonies the only stuff blocked. Platinum would include a once a day open DR where each HG could say what they wanted to viewers without coaching from TPTB. It could just last a minute or two once the HG hit a button and cut them off even in mid-word when the clock runs out. Most would just be 'Hi, Mom' babble, but we could get some insight into game play.

For new players, they need a better range of people, not just pickups from the bars or those wanting an entertainment career. Survivor and Race have both had players with hearing disabilities or missing limbs, why not BB? Variety in age, ethnicity, etc. would give the show more diversity and spice. Enough of those who only look good in a bikini.

I gave up on BB for a few years when it sunk into a porn show. Came back with Dan's season and have enjoyed most if it since then. But, if this is where the show is sinking again, they'll lose me as a viewer. Come on, Les, let's get this show back to what it can be!!

            @OhThisHouse,

I love BBAU and I've watched just about every season. They really come up with some very clever ideas to keep the 'House Mates' active and involved. I read somewhere that it's been cancelled. I hope it's not true.

Betty, yes, and let us control the volume, too. So many conversations are whispered that are nearly inaudible. And those are usually the best conversations!

Blogzie I enjoyed BBAU as well as the house mates were always respectful of Big brother. It was a nice change to watch a group where they didn't swear either as that was not tolerated. They did cancel it and dismantled that beautiful house a couple of weeks ago.

All Stars! Should be house guests that made it to F3-F4-F5, but got there playing not floating. What do you all think?

Floating is so subjective now a days that I don't think I agree with that. But I would love a Mash up of Top 6 players who didn't win.
