        Biography

Previous season: The Amazing Race 5

        Colin Guinn
        Age: 38
        Instagram: @colinguinn
        Hometown: Austin, Texas
        Current occupation: Tech Entrepreneur

Describe what you do: We help companies develop/bring new technologies and innovations to market… primarily in drones, autonomous robotics, and emerging technologies.

Three words to describe you: Loving, energetic, and capable.

Favorite hobbies: Surfing, standup paddling, mountain biking, hiking, auto racing, dancing, sailing, camping, yoga, snowboarding, building, and flying drones.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
Co-creating a beautiful life with Christie, our two beautiful boys, Achilles and Cruz, a successful career doing what I love with people that I love, and a daily practice that allows me to maintain high vibrations.

What scares you most about traveling?
Sitting in the middle seat in coach.

What excites you most about traveling?
Getting to experience other cultures and people around the world and witnessing their way of life first hand… seeing how different their culture can be, while at the same time recognizing how similar we all are at the core.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
        Antarctica, because of the wildlife.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
Watching myself run The Amazing Race 15 years ago gave me the opportunity to look in on myself from the outside and see just how unconscious and full of ego my behavior was. Since then, I have done many years of work to broaden my perspective and come from a more loving and collaborative mindset. I hope to enter this engineered reality that is designed to bring on extreme stress and reduce resilience and apply the principles and practices that have transformed my daily life to see if they can help me have a much more harmonious experience while still being every bit as competitive as we were the first time around.

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
Racers, without a doubt. The Amazing Race is very different than the other shows in that the competitors are out in the real world having to navigate countries with different cultures and language, dealing with uncontrollable flight delays, lack of sleep, jet lag, etc. I think the people who have experienced that before, and proved to be successful in that environment, will be our biggest competition.

        Christie Woods
        Age: 40
        Instagram: @christiewoods1
        Hometown: Austin, Texas
Current occupation: Integrated Sex, Love, and Relationship Coach

Describe what you do: I use my intuitive abilities and energetic healing tools to help clients process past trauma stuck in the body often keeping them in a constant loop of mediocre relationships and life experiences. I combine traditional “top down” talk therapy with a more somatic “bottom up” approach utilizing various types of breath-work, sound healing, meditation, and Reiki in order to encourage my clients to go deep within the self to uncover and/or simply release thought patterns no longer serving their best and highest good. I invite them to reclaim their sovereignty by reconnecting with their own internal emotional guidance system; thus, becoming a more expressed human, free of cultural and familial programming, inspired to live their own authentic truth.

Three words to describe you: Adventurous, curious, and fun.

Favorite hobbies: Hiking, yoga, travel, reading, camping, wake-surfing, snowboarding, paddle boarding, slack-lining, dancing, and playing hide-and-go-seek with my kids.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?

What scares you most about traveling?
        Losing my passport.

What excites you most about traveling?
Seeing the world, and experiencing new people and different cultures.

Africa—the motherland! I enjoyed our visit on Season 5 very much, and would LOVE to go back!

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
Even more intimacy, connection, fun, and… expansion!!

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
        Racers for sure!!

Getting really lost, offending different cultures, and trusting the wrong people.

What excites you most about traveling?
Gaining new perspectives on the world and life, new experiences.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
New Zealand. I’ve heard it’s absolutely beautiful and there is no language barrier.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
I hope that we bring out the best in each other as we share a plethora of new experiences. I hope to gain a better understanding of our team dynamic, learn from each other, learn more about myself and obviously, have fun.

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
Our biggest competition will be Racers. They've done it before and they know how this game works.

          Floyd Pierce
          Age: 23
          Hometown: Highlands Ranch, Colorado
          Twitter and Instagram: @FloydJP3
          Current occupation: Client Service Manager

Describe what you do: I am client service manager at a registered investment advisor in Boulder. I communicate with clients, provide operational/administrative support, and perform other specialty functions relating to reporting and research. I passed CFA Level 1 this past December.

Three words to describe you: Spunky, charismatic, and contemplative.

Favorite hobbies: Anything involving music, college sporting events, cuddling, and The Lion King.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
Being cast for The Amazing Race twice. That's pretty cool. Or serving as a drum major for CU's marching band.

What scares you most about traveling?
          Losing my passport.

What excites you most about traveling?
Getting to experience the lives of other people. Every country is so unique and each feels like a different world, and I'm so lucky that I get to see other countries in a way that your average tourist can't.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
Australia and/or New Zealand. It’s the only continent I haven't been to (besides Antarctica).

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
To spread our joy to the world and have the time of our lives. Becca and I also still have a lot to learn about each other, so our relationship is surely about to get deeper!

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
Definitely the Castaways. I feel like Survivor can be psychologically tougher than the Race because it's more social and you're just sitting around alone with your thoughts. So I think the Castaways can handle themselves during the stressful moments. The Race is also physically and mentally challenging, and obviously, the Castaways are used to those kinds of conditions!

            Biography

Previous seasons: Big Brother 12, winner of Big Brother 13, The Amazing Race 20, and The Amazing Race: All-Stars (Rachel); Big Brother 15 (Elissa)

            Rachel Reilly
            Age: 34
            Instagram: @rachelereillyvillegas
            Hometown: Van Nuys, California
Current occupations: Student, PT tech, yoga teacher, entrepreneur, casting, mom, entertainment, and blogger.

Three words to describe you: Loyal, fierce/competitive, and courageous.

Favorite hobbies: Hiking, camping, and art.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
My education, becoming a mom, and winning Big Brother!

What scares you most about traveling?
            Missing my daughter.

What excites you most about traveling?
This is my third Race and my first two I did with Brendon, my husband. It was really fun to race with him but this Race is really exciting because I get to do this with my sister. Growing up, Elissa and I moved a lot. I think I went to three middle schools and two high schools. Moving and only having your sister as a constant made us super close, then we went to college, got married, and didn't live together anymore. We still love to do everything together. Elissa was on Big Brother after I was, we got engaged the same weekend, we got married the same year, and we had babies together! So for us, doing the Race together is a dream come true! SISTER BONDING!

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
Africa Safari again. It’s amazing, I mean who gets to do that? But excited for everywhere.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
Bonding time and building memories. Time with my sister is so valuable since we are both so busy with life. This is an opportunity to make some memories as sisters! We didn't get to do BB together so this will be really fun and exciting! We get to make memories, go on a crazy adventure and try to make better lives for our families.

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
I think the biggest threats are the Racers. The Race teams know what to expect and even though I have raced twice, my partner has never raced so this will be totally new to her. It's probably good to have a new set of eyes on something I feel so confident about, but I also hope that she listens to me because after all, I've done this twice before and NEVER BEEN ELIMINATED. This also adds pressure on both of us, but I mean I'm Rachel Reilly, I've won two reality shows. I’ve got this in the bag

Do you think Big Brother prepared you for The Amazing Race? Do you think you learned anything on BB that will help you on the Race?
I think being on The Amazing Race prepared me more for this than Big Brother. The Amazing Race isn't usually as strategic with the other Racers, but I think since we have Racers, Houseguests, and Castaways we are going to really see more of a social game being played. I am totally prepared to make alliances on this race and use my race experience and my BB experience.

            Elissa Slater
            Age: 32

            Twitter: @ELISSAREILLYS
            Hometown: Las Vegas
Current occupation: Founder, CEO Drop Method® App

Describe what you do: Rachel and I recently launched a comprehensive fitness and nutrition app, Drop Method®. We are the most comprehensive app on the market and offer everything you need to drop weight, stress, and excuses! Programs designed by specialists and nutrition products designed by a team of physicians and chemists (Rachel and myself)! We have all your needs in one convenient app to help you finally reach your goals and maintain them—permanently! We have a meal delivery program specifically designed for weight loss with the drop method meal programs that delivers all across North America (some small cities may not have service available).

Three words to describe you: Go-getter, focused, and determined.

Favorite hobbies: Yoga, tennis, travel, and making a difference!

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
My children and graduating college Summa Cum Laude, Presidential Scholar. Also, proud of working on my Masters and the Drop Method® App is HUGE. Obviously being on Big Brother and The Amazing Race are once in a lifetime opportunities.

What scares you most about traveling?
Diseases and flying. Also safety of food, activities, and travel.

What excites you most about traveling?
Seeing the world—especially with my sister, meeting new people and cultures, realizing the infinite possibilities of our world.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
            Africa—to see all the animals.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
I hope to overcome my fear of flying!

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
            Definitely the Racers.

Do you think Big Brother prepared you for The Amazing Race? Do you think you learned anything on BB that will help you on the Race?
I think we learned that the Big Brother casts are groups of pathological liars and never under any circumstances to trust any of them. Actually, literally, so don’t trust Big Brother Houseguests ever, ever, except me. You can trust me with your health in particular.

Current occupation: Registered Nurse, content creator, podcast co-host

Describe what you do: Currently working as a school nurse, occasionally. Previously worked in the ER, ICU & Rehabilitation Units. I also create content for companies and products to share on social media platforms and get to travel with my BFF, Victor, for our podcast!

Three words to describe you: Cuddly, quirky, and competitive.

Favorite hobbies: Cooking, crafting, and drinking coffee.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
Becoming a nurse, winning BB18 and starting the Coco Caliente podcast.

What scares you most about traveling?
Being stranded alone or getting really sick!

What excites you most about traveling?
Being immersed in different cultures and learning about them. Also, as cliche as it sounds, getting to see the world; it’s not easy to get this experience and I’m not going to take it for granted.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
Anywhere with elephants! I LOVE ANIMALS.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
Learn how to handle stressful situations together, experience the world with someone I love, create once-in-a-lifetime memories, and kick some butt.

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
Former Race teams, for sure! They know how to work together as a team, what their prior strengths and weaknesses are and know what to pack, which we are very uncertain about!

Do you think Big Brother prepared you for The Amazing Race? Do you think you learned anything on BB that will help you on the Race?
Yes, but probably not enough. Socially, I can usually survive, but I haven’t done much exercise in quite some time and I think it’s much more physical than Big Brother. I also don’t do well under pressure. The irony is I’m assuming it feels like you're "on the block" every single day in this Race. We will give it our best shot though and Vic is the best teammate I could ever ask for! Excited to have a permanent alliance member, it only takes one!

Graduating college and getting engaged to the love of my life.

What scares you most about traveling?
Getting injured or falling ill in a foreign country.

What excites you most about traveling?
Experiencing different cultures, foods, meeting new people and trying new activities. Also seeing the other beautiful landscapes of the world.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
Maldives: amazingly beautiful and slowly disappearing into the ocean. Might not be here in the future.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
Bring us closer and share an amazing experience. We will really learn a lot about each other and share something that we will have to look back on forever.

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
Racers, because they have done this before which makes them more prepared for this type of competition.

Do you think Big Brother prepared you for The Amazing Race? Do you think you learned anything on BB that will help you on the Race?
I believe BB is more of a social game and less of a physical competition like Race. Although The Amazing Race has some mental challenges, the social aspect of the game itself is minimal. I do hope winning BB competitions gives me the confidence to do well on The Amazing Race’s challenges.

Our biggest competition will be the Racers because they have done it all before and we are new to the Race.

Do you think Survivor prepared you for The Amazing Race? Do you think you learned anything on Survivor that will help you on the Race?
Survivor taught me how to work with people and make alliances which will hopefully help us in the race to strategize with other teams, so as not to get U-turned!

Describe what you do: I sell genetic testing solutions by day and dispense questionable life advice by night.

Three words to describe you: 100% that bitch.

Favorite hobbies: Hanging with my alpaca (IG: @tupaca_the_alpaca), shutting down small talk, and avoiding friends’ children at all costs.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
Survivor. Not the show per se, but the accomplishment of not becoming either a real estate agent or a yoga instructor afterward.

What scares you most about traveling?
It’s a tie between Joran van der Sloot and Brokedown Palace.

What excites you most about traveling?
Hangovers don’t exist on vacation and calories don’t count on airplanes.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
Myanmar because Eliza claims it is the best place she’s ever visited. I would take her word over Trip Advisor all day. In the context of this Race, I want to visit China. I speak fluent Mandarin and we would have a huge advantage. Just kidding, I barely speak English. But, Eliza knows Mandarin and she’s my secret weapon.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
Just looking for my 16th minute of fame.

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
Racers. It’s the same concept as taking your SATs. Your score goes up every time.

Do you think Survivor prepared you for The Amazing Race? Do you think you learned anything on Survivor that will help you on the Race?
I learned how to endure under unfathomable conditions and tune out that voice in your head that keeps saying, “Why did you sign up for this?”

                  Current occupation: Public Defender

Describe what you do: As a public defender in Manhattan, I have dedicated myself to the zealous defense of some of society’s most vulnerable. I represent individuals charged with crimes in Manhattan who cannot afford legal counsel.

Three words to describe you: Intense, politically active, and outgoing.

Favorite hobbies: Traveling to new places, completing the NY Times Crossword Puzzle daily, spinning, and storytelling.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?
While becoming a successful public defender is what I’m most proud of, I believe my greatest accomplishment is still ahead of me. I decided as a teenager that I wanted to advocate for those who had no one else fighting for them. To this end, I have represented thousands of indigent individuals in New York City over the past decade, but my hope for the future is to decriminalize poverty and end mass incarceration.

What scares you most about traveling?
Nothing, except poor safety standards (flying on low budget airlines whose planes wouldn’t pass inspection in the U.S.).

What excites you most about traveling?
EVERYTHING! I absolutely love to travel and love seeing new places, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures.

What country and place would you most like to visit and why?
Bhutan. I want to trek through the Himalayas and see the gorgeous monasteries and dramatic landscape there.

What do you hope to accomplish by running the Race with your partner (other than winning one million bucks)?
I love pushing my boundaries and seeing what I’m capable of. I can’t wait for the adventure and the challenge!

Who do you think will be your biggest competition: Racers, Houseguests, or Castaways?
Racers. Hands down. It's like when Boston Rob went up against a bunch of newbies on Survivor: Redemption Island.

Do you think Survivor prepared you for The Amazing Race? Do you think you learned anything on Survivor that will help you on the Race?
Survivor prepared me to starve, so I don’t need to spend leg money on food. I'm also comfortable sleeping anywhere—an airport floor is luxurious compared to the shelter on Survivor.
